After a couple months of finally getting a scanner, I finally decide to get a DA account. Yay me. XP

I warn you ahead of time, though: My artwork consists of only paper, pen, and colored pencils, so you may feel that my artwork is only... 'normal' compared to the many Photoshopped/computer drawn/etc. drawings that you normally see. Razz

I just love this one. It came out much nicer that expected, since, y'know, scanners have a tendencey to kill off pretty colors. Laughing

I have to give you props for having MAN at the end of your navi's name, like a sensible fan navi should have! I believe either that or a musical term...(I've heard bad fan navi names...)

I personally would work on technique some more, but for one who hasn't had lots of art practice they're excellent.

Good start. I especially liked your Pyroman.exe design; very dragon-like. Although, he'd probably look better more stylized, you know, curved, exaggerated claws/body parts. Out of curiousity, is his power just fire based and how does he wield it?

The Maddy-Match couple looks very cute, and I also like that humorous comic you made by yourself. Pyroman.exe could still have some room for stylizing, just like Sugoi Sukafu mentioned. Don't worry, every people doesn't always have a fully designed fan navi, including me. Keep thinking and you'll work it out.

Actually, I rather like this version of Pyro. I want to make him look more like a dragon, and less human-like. ( A.K.A. less of a MegaMan recolor. Razz

) He has fire attacks. Only two, so people won't think that I'm a n00b who's trying to make an uber Navi. ( Pyro Claw and Pyro Cannon.) Maybe the next time I draw him, I'll do it with him doing an attack.

And to tell the truth, I've had a lot of drawing practice before this. I just haven't posted anything 1/2 years before now due to lack of a scanner ( Which I now have. ^_^ ) and extreme laziness. ( If it's something that's not school work or homework, I'm a procrastinator. >_< )

Side Note: My first version of PyroMan was basically a Red Eyes Black Dragon sized down. And the second version was nothing more than a BurningGreymon recolor. The third I made into a completely seperate Navi. :puku:

Your MaddyxMatch pic is pretty cute and so is the new Match one. If you wanted to make his hair a little more similar to how it's styled in the anime/official art, the longer part flows in curls a little more than the straight zig zags you've used. Sorta like how you draw the two bangs on his head. Lengthwise, though, it's pretty close. Definitely can tell it's him either way. Just takes practice, practice, practice.

The Okami one looks really nice as well. Although the angle might look a little odd with the front legs higher than the back, if you just added a little angled line, it could easily look like the wolfy is standing on the edge of a cliff, howling at the moon...well, not howling with the glowing thingy-guy on it's nose. But the pose, it could sorta look that way. I haven't played Okami yet, but I'd really like to get it one day. Good job, Haly.

Thank you very much. I'm still practicing on Match, though have your own style of drawing Anime add a bit of yourself in your fan art, you know? ^_^; It's mostly his bangs I have trouble on, though. Not the rest of his hair. ( I should've said that before. -_-; )

And it wasn't until I had inked and scanned Ammy that I realized that the front paws were higher that the back. @_@ Drawing a very straight, and very light line in the back, or using a ruler helps to make sure such things are level, right? >_>;

No, you're right. Doing things in your own style is important. I just thought that might have been what you were talking about when you said things weren't looking right to you. But now you've clarified it. And there's nothing wrong with using a ruler to try to straighten things or make sure you're level. It's something I should do half the time but don't. But sure, it can help you when you're trying to learn proportions and stuff. Like I said, at that angle, you could easily draw an angled line and sort of make it look like the wolf is on a jagged cliff or something like that. If you wanted to add a background one day, that is. Sometimes you can make up for your mistakes that way; I know I have before.

I like Match's Scottish accent ( Call me crazy if you want!!) but I hate how dub haters make fun of it with the cutural stereotype. Seriously though, you will not believe how much dub haters have made fun of that. ( Trust me, I was a 'member' of a forum where 99.9% of the forum populus was composed of dub haters. And if someone found out you liked dubs, you were instantly banned. No ifs, ands, or buts. =_= )
