Well, there's no one other than Game & Watch who has the potential to be removed anyway.

There's a pretty good likelihood that at least a couple of the clones will be dropped too. Gannondorf and Falco are probably safe, since they're popular characters...

But Young Link and Dr. Mario are practically alternate outfits for their original characters, Roy was an advertisement for a game that didn't end up doing that well from what I've heard and Pichu was a joke character who only got in because of time constraits.

Personally, I'd rather have everyone stay in. But I think at least Pichu and Game and Watch have a high chance of getting the boot.

Pichu was just basically a Pikachu with a faster speed yet a big disadvantage. Unless they work something out with him or add something to him, he is pretty much a goner.

Young Link has a really high chance of being replaced by Wind Waker Link. Honestly, in SSBM, it was Young Link and Link's look-alike that make him a like a clone character. Now Link has the Twilight Princess look, how's Young Link gonna look? Still N64-style? A high chance of him being replaced.

Ganondorf might not be replaced, yet with a different look and attacks. Falco, well, if they decide to put some other crew mates of StarFox in, he might get replaced.

I still don't understand why Game & Watch is everybody's "omg must be gone". He is really original and one of the Nintendo's most known character, and the theme of SSBB is "Nintendo characters fight", so why take him out? There is no one equivalent of him, unless they make a Mrs. Game and Watch.

Which then I'll start laughing.

People like Ice Climbers, Ness, etc. are really unlikely to be taken out, since they were the only characters shown for their series. Unless they want to take him for more space, highly doubtful.

Windwaker Link would be a pretty cool idea. And Ganondorf must use his sword for one attack if anything. Mr.G&W would be cool if they kept him. Or not either way. Any pokemon but Pikachu and Jigglypuff? Maybe not. Maybe no Mewtwo but hopefully no Pichu. I use Jigglypuff as a punching bag/sparring partner. Roy? Maybe, maybe not. Might get switched with a different character. Same with Marth I guess. Falco? Probably stays but maybe another person. Krystal maybe? Sakurai said something about who she is once. Ice Climbers? Maybe, maybe not. Ness? He'll still be there I can bet. Dr Mario? Nope. Wario. Hopefully with classic costume. Captain Falcon? Maybe a remade him. Luigi/Peach/Bowser? Of course. They have Wario.

That sounds ok. It's all my opinions/some facts.

Actually, if you look at Wario's attacks you can see he is very similar to G&W. That's basically why people think he is getting the boot.

Roy- He has the potential to be unique, but I think it's better off sticking Ike or Sigurd in.

Falco- He probably won't go.

Ganondorf- He's definately not going anywhere. He'll probably come with a new move set.

Young Link, Pichu, and the Doc- I HOPE they get the boot. I never liked them.

I have doubts that the Ice Climbers will get dropped. They could easily get their moveset redone so they can fight better, but I don't see Nintendo just dropping a unique idea like that unless they introduce another character pair.

If the villian of Twilight Princess isn't Ganondorf I reckon he'd be in line for a kick. He's a clone of Falcon and Zelda has the most next to the Mario games. Fan popularity in the west isn't going to affect Sakurai's decisions after all.

It would be cool if they had Gannondorf in not only his Twilight Princess form (assuming, of course, that he is in Twilight Princess), but also his Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time outfits as alternate costumes. Same with Wind Waker Link and Young Link, and Dr. Mario and Mario. They did it with Peach and Daisy in Super Smash Bros Melee, so why not?
