I actually thought Cygnus Wing's design was pretty good, save for the pale blue face. Gray would've been more appropriate.

Did anyone else think that the in the scene where Subaru was talking to Amachi when everyone was fleeing the facility, that he (Subaru) was drawn very oddly?

And what was up with that machete wielding robot? Bizarre.

Next ep looks to be quite good.

I'm not paying attention enough to this stuff. When did Twitchy-Cygnus call himself Cygnus Wing? From what I was listening to, that sounded more like the attack he launched at Rockman.

Yeah, I'm refering Utagai as Twitchy. He's too high-strung to be drinking decaf to me.

Attack was called Cygnus Feather. Too much like Falzer attack :/
And yes, he called himself Cygnus Wing. You should watch it again carefully :D

The Cygnus/Utagai fusion reminds me of Shademan for some reason, particularly the face.

Notice how Cygnus Wing has no physical manifestation of Cyguns anywhere on his body? (Unless you're counting that duck hat, but the hat doesn't talk, I don't think. :O )
Wonder why it's that way for Cygnus Wing and [spoil:756b46ea8f]presumably the other FM "possessions"[/spoil:756b46ea8f] and not for Subaru and WarRock?

Maybe because it's a Cygnus who is controlling Cygnus Wing's body, not Usagai. But it's just my theory.

There's also the possibility of a setup similar Cross Fusion, in which the person speaks, but the Navi (or in this case, FM) speaks inside of the person's head, but can be heard externally if need be.

Though given a choice between that and my previous idea of them sharing a head, I'd go with them sharing a head. The idea of them sharing a head is so much better, in my opinion - it's just more deliciously bizarre that way.

Neither had too many lines to speak thus far, so for the time being, it's all moot. We'll hopefully see soon enough exactly how Cygnus Wing ticks.

*sigh* Another late post. Sometimes, I hate my comp.

Anyway, getting to the episode.

Really not that much to say about this episode. The main highlight of this one was Utagai getting posessed by Cygnus and turning into Cygnus Wing, our first enemy FM alien. Cool features, but the duck head kinda ruins it.

And Subaru gets cornered by Luna, Gonta, and Kizamaru right outside AMAKEN. Personally, when Gonta was chasing Subaru, I was half-expecting him to yell "Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum".

And did anyone notice that Cygnus was hanging out in Utagai's Transer, just like WarRock?

Well, anyway, next episode, we get to see Subaru's first Wave Battle (which I think is the Ryuusei equivalent of a Net Battle). Should be fun.
