Dumb Question about Beast+ (spoilers?)

I've only seen bits and pieces of Beast and Beast+, and I know that Netto get s a new PET in ep1 of Beast+, along with it two chips representing Gregia and Faizer.

What I want to know, for someone who hasn't seen most of Beast+ is what is the gimmick of his new PET? What does it allow him to do? I've also seen where he taps from one pet to another and something happens to Rock (to which, I wasn't paying too much attention) and now I can't sit down and find out because most of the Rockman.exe episodes are being taken down from youtube. So spoil it for me.

Beast spoilers:

Netto did not get a new PET in Beast+. It just got recoloured. He did get a new PET in Beast, called the Link PET. It allows him to use Jet Vernier in CrossFusion so that he can fly.

The stylus trick is called the Cross system. Netto uses his stylus to create a little network between two PETs, then navi data transfers from the other PET to Rockman and causes a Rockman cross <navi> transformation.

This is also in the wrong forum, so I'm PMing a mod.

As for why it was needed, it's the only PET that is [spoil:5bcef0f691]compatable with the two Juuka/Beast Out chips (Glaga and Falzer), which transform Rockman into G-Beast or F-Beast without Trill's assistant.[/spoil:5bcef0f691]

Link PET EX? I interpreted the dialog to mean that they modified his old PET slightly to accept the Juuka chips. Not a whole new PET like the PET Advance II or when he switches PET base models.

And yes, "Link PET EX" is indeed the name of Netto's new PET if I recall and yes, it's a significant upgrade like the PET Advance II was, even more significant as it allows for Juuka and Crosses.
