I vote Clark Kent.
This is all uber screwy.
Okay, look. On the FM planet, FM Seijin are all uber powerful and stuff. But on Earth, their powers are diminished. They still have powers, but just not as strong as their normal powers are. Denpa Henkan is simply a more efficient way of getting the job done. This is straight from the game, but I'll also throw in an anime example: Consider Ox. Ox was doing a pretty good job of beating Rock into the ground. But then, Rock pulled an unexpected stunt and tackled Ox into the school building, where he found Gonta. Whee Denpa Henkan Ox Fireness! <insert much pummeling of WarRock>
See?
Now, I could very well be wrong, but I think that this is as likely an explanation as we can get...
I think... :/
I still vote the Clark Kent stunt. _________________

I also think it'd be too early for Subaru to transform in front of everyone, so I bet there will be some opportunity for him to run and change. I got the impression Gonta will have one of those typical mind struggles with his possessor, realizing he can't hurt his friends, and that'll give them a little time to make a break for it. There was just a hint of hesitancy at the end there.
Kinda liked Ox's little snort gimmick in his speech, don't really understand why I do, but I did. Although having Ox Fire's henshin sequence seemed out of place, happening so soon, but it was interesting to see. War Rock's claustrophobic antics made the episode more than anything, however, so it was another enjoyable one. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

I find it kinda cute how WarRock keeps bugging Subaru to take him to school. So is Luna's declaration of getting Subaru to school, only to get her expectations dashed when he doesn't put up a fight and walks ahead.
It's a bit early to talk about it, but whatever. Seems Harp Singer will be showing up after the next episode. I'm guessing she'll be paired up with that one girl shown in the intro and not Luna.
Plus, it seems that the roles and personality have been switched. Before it was the boy 4 who was the impulsive one while the Navi was more orderly and calm, and now its the other way around. |

Hmmm, I didn't see Harp Singer or Roll in the preview for next week...just some shots of Ox Fire with Gonta inside of him. It's still very possible though. And it's been known that Harp Singer will be paired with Hibiki Misora...not Luna...so yeah. :]
...I now wonder if Goyoda Heiji (the one referred to as "keibu-san" by everyone) will be paired with an FM Seijin. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

That would be weird. But if the harp girls are appearing soon then what about that other girl in the intro? No idea?
Anyway, Nice episode. Funny scenes and a fight next week. |

Subaru might have had a chance to get away with a Clark Kent stunt, but Ox Fire seems pissed off at specifically him, not Luna or Kizamoro, and since Ox Fire is on a whole different plane of destructive power compared to Subaru, there's no way he can try running and hope to live. Unless WarRock dashes in immediately to merge with Subaru, Subaru is pretty much toast.
Then consider that Gonta will no doubt be making more appearances in the anime, as Ox Fire no less, since they gave him a henshin sequence. This will no doubt require some level of cooperation with Rockman. Considering that Subaru has now been dragged into Luna's group, and that Ox Fire's identity as Gonta is know, it would be extremely difficult for Subaru to maintain his secrecy as Rockman. So, what better way to get it out of the way than just reveal himself right there in front of everyone? |

I agree. Since it's very likely that Luna and the other guy will have FM's as well they will have to reveal it sooner or later. Might as well be now.
On the other hand though Ox could just run off with Subaru leaving the others behind allowing him to keep his secret a little longer. |

I'm still curious as to how Luna's previous strategy of Gonta beating Subaru up would convince him to go to school... And where did that soccerball come from?
About the War Rock vs Ox fight, I'm sure that the writers forgot that an FM is a non tangible radio wave, therefore they could not possibly smash through basketball hoops and concrete walls. Most likely they would phase through them in the same manner that R-Subaru has been.
I wonder if we're ever going to see any enemy navis, as their continued presence in the games have been confirmed. I mean, the game has to have more then 6 bosses (Cygnus, Ox, Ophiculus, Libra, Gemini and the final boss). Maybe after the game comes out we'll see some. If not, I'll be very disappointed. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

If Denpa Viruses can affect real things such as trains and buildings, why can't FMs, who are from the same planet? Besides, the wanton destruction of the school seemed very deliberite to me.
Episode 12 is called "Appearance of Human Viruses" if that's what you're looking for. Otherwise, future hosts/enemies will probably appear in later episodes. _________________

Then it seems to me that the writers are thinking that the Denpa Net and a DA are one in the same, which they most certainly are not. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

They're not supposed to be able to. At least what's been revealed of the game seems to suggest that they should not be able to. The anime screwed up.

(About Future titles) [spoil:e1b61d5a26]More like "Virus Humans" rather than "Human Viruses". (It said ウィルス人間 so yeah...)
Sounds like a Denpa Virus and a human who share the same frequency may also perform Denpa Henkan??? o.O

My idea that the radio wave space is a derivative of dimensional area technology could very well be close to the truth, within the context of the anime. Don't forget that the games and anime don't follow each other bit-for-bit.
Saying that the Ryusei anime screwed up by making FMs behave differently in space is like saying the EXE anime screwed up by letting Rockman.EXE perform a style-change mid-battle. |

Oh, my mistake then, DrkX.
However, I still believe that the anime did not screw this episode in logic. In episodes 3, 4, and 5, the Denpa Viruses were shown very diliberately assaulting the trains and buildings of the real world.
Even if this is not the case in the games, it would make sense to tweak the evil FMs and Viruses for the anime to make them pose an even greater threat to society.
After all, the concept of Cross Fusion is not in the EXE games, either. Neither is the concept of a Dimensional Area. _________________

Whether it was deliberate or not, it still makes no sense to me from a logical viewpoint.
The ?! after the title for Ryuusei 12 makes me think that they're not sure what the heck they're dealing with. It could be possible that it's a navi, as Subaru or whoever might think it's a humanoid virus. Also, those generic looking bots that were in that promotional art in the Coro Coro strongly resemble navis, and I have seen a battlecard showing one of them being electrocuted ( Anti Elec perhaps?), just like how Normal Navis were depicted taking the attack on several battlechips. In conclusion, I'm hoping that these 'Human Viruses' are infact just navis, as evidence backs up this theory.
If I'm wrong then... I'll be disappointed. So... we'll see in a month I suppose. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

I realize that. I am merely pointing out that this doesn't seem to be what happens in the games. In the games, Denpa Viruses and FM Seijin may only affect the real world through assaulting the nearby wave space, or performing Denpa Henkan and effectively entering the human plane.
Oh, and since you brought up Cross Fusion, here's the thing: The Denpa Sekai exists in the game, where as Cross Fusion and Dimensional Areas are completely original concepts; thus they don't have as much of an "obligation" to resemble the game as much as the Denpa sekai. So yeah... _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

You sure seem to be drawing a lot of conclusions based on just a title, without any idea about potentially major plot developments that might occur before that episode, or even the context for the name. That episode is about a month away. Give it time. |
