Rockman EXE: Legend of Network

Well, those 2 don't apply to the plot. 4.5 doesn't have any souls and the styles in BCC are considered as different navis since you have to get them like any other navi in the game and use them the same way.

Considering the X games had multiple characters, I think Capcom decided to use the fighting-game approach to making endings; each ending had something different going on, had some sort of resolution for the specific character, but only one of them could be considered slightly cannon. And they were trying to end the series with every single game's ending, if you recall. It's like the boy who cried wolf; eventually you're not going to listen to him, even if he's telling the truth. Now, if at some point Sigma finally says "Holy crap! You've defeated me again, but this time I can't escape from my body! I'm really, actually, finally going to die this time! For real! Nooooooo! *Boom*" ...well, then I'll believe the X series has ended for good.

As for EXE 6, you're right, the ending did leave quite alot to speculation. But the ending itself implied that [spoil:3233379397]Netto and Meiru settle down and have a kid. As in, no future crisis arises forcing Netto to run out and save the world again. Now, the Net and navis are still around, but the ending also implies that the new Iris/Colonel security system is so powerful that not even viruses escape their wrath. (Alright, so that might be a bit of interpretation on my part. I don't have the game on hand at the moment to check, and it's not on VG Museum yet. >_< )[/spoil:3233379397]

Then again, who knows? Judging by the first screenshot, it might indeed be another tournament game. Or, it might not and Capcom just couldn't fit a normal overworld on a cellphone. What I really have issue with is that second screenshot that shows Megaman fighting viruses. (See above) That, and if it isn't a tourney game and there is yet another world crisis.

In Chip Challenge, Styles were effectively treated as seperate Navis and in 4.5 Real Operation you could play as different Navis; so Styles/Souls/Crosses are redundant.

I think that this cell phone game is going to be like 4.5 or battle chip challenge. I don't think that I'll have a true story line. I it does it probably (not saying that it will) would take place in the back end of the exe story line (kinda like transmission). Or it could be like phantom of the Network, since they're both on cell phones. By the way does anyone know about that game?

I assume the game will be like Phantom of Network, but I'm only basing that on the fact that they have similar names (Phantom of Network, Legend of Network) and are both cell phone only.

I'm personally hoping that the title refers to Rockman.exe becoming legendary.

This is cool. It's using viruses from BN4-6 and a variety of chips from BN4-6. This game has a nice mix.

The small e make shi into she, so it's Sherisu, which is probably supposed to be Cherise (or however the name is spelt in English!).

yes Unknown Neo is correct, like Phantom of the Network, Legend of the Network is a cellphone game, only available in japan on the Foma something or other, or at least I think thats the cell phone, and it uses something called i-mode, which is a connection system on cellphones currently only available in japan, just like the Foma cell phones that have it. Another game that uses the I-mode system is FF7 Before Crisis.

But yeah until they decide to release the Foma series outside of japan along with the I-mode connection system, or what ever it is, then we get to miss out on some decent looking games.

like i tried to say, if I am correct, since I noticed the offical LoN page says i-mode on it somewhere, that it uses the i-mode connection system which is currently only available in japan, and I think it is only available on the FOMA series but obviously I can't say for sure since I don't live in japan so I don't really know.

So yeah there is currently no way for someone outside of Japan to get LoN.

Yes. Plus it's a lot harder to hack a cell phone game. That way you can't get the R_M.

Even if they could easily hack LoN, and PoN, the chapter like gameplay, where every week a new chapter is available, would just make it so it would be too much time to hack all of the chapters, and then to try and compile them, it would just be too much time.

Though I am just assuming that LoN and PoN have they same system for advancing the plot, it would make sense that they would, after all they do look like they have the same navigation system from the couple images I've seen of LoN.
