If I recall, didn't the anime write "Raika" interchangeably with "Laika" from time to time? And isn't his officially translated name "Raika"? Yet, nearly everyone around here calls him "Laika." |

The correct romanization would be Laika, but, alas, for us Americans, the ever-incompetent dubbers changed it to Raika, though that is probably the least of their flubs.
As for the Pleadies, that star cluster was known as the Seven Sisters in Greek Mythology, so, I suppose on weather conditions and where you happen to be standing, there are generally seven stars visible. _________________

The dubbers called Laika "Raika"? I never noticed... then again I saw maybe two episodes of the dub XD
So here we are on episode ten. When I first saw Misora and Harp's fusion form I immediately thought "Ember!"
*coughs* I'm in Danny Phantom withdrawal, sorry. Otherwise the episode was pretty good, i didn't have anything to complain about. I can't wait to see what happens next! _________________ Avatar made by me in paint. Whoo

LOL, that's a good reference. Ryuusei no Rockman does seem kinda like Danny Phantom in some respects (the FM aliens are like ghosts). _________________ It's not easy being green!... Or small..... or... the youngest in the family.......... |

As cccd-erkie said, "Laika" is the correct spelling. Especially since it's the Russian word for "Barker," and the name of the Russian dog that was sent into space, and they spelt it with an "L." =P
The episode was a bit of a blah, but I'm glad that I finally got to see Misora in the anime. I never pictured Harp to be like what she is, but I suppose her design will grow on me. =P _________________ ~スライダーちゃん~

About Harp looking so ugly... When you design a creature based off of an artificial, static object, in this case a lyre, you have considerable less freedom of design then you do when the creature is based off of a wolf, or a swan, or an ox... _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

Remember when I said that Harp was based off a constellation? I know somebody already confirmed this, but I've got the details. :]
Harp is based of the constellation Lyra, (the lyre), whose brightest star is Vega, sometimes called the Harp Star. _________________

Well, that certainly explains why Harp chose a star to merge with, eh? |

Actually, Misora and the blond girl who shows up right after her in the Ryusei opening do look rather similar...plus it seems like they both have greenish eyes...
...and they both have what looked to me like a pink MP3 player.
I was considering whether or not the blonde girl might simply be Misora wearing a wig and different clothing. I mean, she's a celebrity right? And we've already been shown how crazy--and numerous--her adoring fandom is. Perhaps she disguises herself to go out in public and be able to do so like a normal person, without being attacked by rabid fans...?
I don't think this is likely, but I had fun coming up with the idea. _________________ "I like revenge, but I like sprinkled donuts better." --my brother.

I never would've made that connection.
Actually, I've seen this one special where this hip-hop celebrity put on a wig and shades and went out into the streets. Nobody recognized him. So maybe that theory might be true, though I really think it's unlikely. In fact, I don't think that other girl has much to do with Misora at all. (Unlikely as that might sound, but that's what I think.) _________________

Yeah, like I said, I highly doubt my own theory as well. =P
In fact, maybe the blonde girl isn't even a chick--maybe it's a guy! D:
*shot repeatedly*
What? XD Anime is fun of girly-men and girly-boys. Although even so, I doubt THAT theory as well.
Still, it's entertaining to speculate! _________________ "I like revenge, but I like sprinkled donuts better." --my brother.

That Misora in diguise theory could be very possible actually. It could be the the folks that made the opening screwed up. They were just shown the chararcter model's without being told who everyone was so they made a mistake and thought they were different people. Hey they did it in Beast and Stream. |

Mistake?
I don't know what you're talking about in regards to Stream. As for Diveman/Kurohige and Circusman/Chirol appearing with with the good guys, who says that was a mistake? _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

The ending of Stream showed Numberman and Toadman as part of the team because they were in Exe.5 but they later decided not to use them in the actual show. And I think the Beast thing really was a mistake. |

Oh, yes, and if the two girls turn out to have different-colored eyes...

BLAAAAAAAAAH, the episode title says the girl's name is Harp Singer, and so do many sites, yet the game calls her Harp Note....BLAAAAH!
(When the episode airs tomorrow, I'll see what Misora calls herself... >.>) _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)
