Ryusei no Rockman 11 (Spoilers make you very sleeeepy...)

So, Subaru and his mum are at the police station and are apologizing profusely to the good Keibu-san. After promising it will never happen again, they head off on their merry way. Akane takes this time to have a mother-son chat with Subaru that consists of stuff I can't understand, though it probably consists of "I'm your mother and you can tell me anything," or something to that effect. (Japanese speakers, please correct me.)
Subaru says everything's peachy, and later asks WarRock who that chick with the harp was. WarRock says she was Harp Singer, and the FM was Harp. <insert more Japanese I can't understand here>
Meanwhile, on the deserted island, Misora's throwing a fit consting of running around, screaming, kicking palm trees, pitching coconuts into the ocean, and splashing around. Why? I don't know. Maybe it's that time again...
Ahem. Either way, after exhausting herself, Misora plops down on her hammock and takes a nap. Harp, who has up to this point been watching innocently from Misora's guitar, suddenly becomes all evil and glowy.

Back with Subaru and the Three Stooges, Luna decided to go on a shoping spree and then apparently dumped her stuff on the guys. Subaru mildly complains, but Gonta and Kizamaru are like, "No! We must obey her every command!"
Then Misora comes on TV with her new song. On EVERY SINGLE TV IN THE CITY. Luna and the others are like, "Yay! Misora <3!" Subaru's like, "whatever."
Suddenly Misora vanishes! Wait! It's that chick with the harp! And the harp is singing! Let's all take a nap!"
Only Subaru is unaffected by Harp Singer's lullaby, it would seem. How conveninet, because it's Rockman to the rescue! Luna wakes up just long enough to see Rockman appear where Subaru was standing before. Gasp!
Harp Singer is waiting at the top of the radio station, but, LE GASP! Harp has taken control of Harp Singer!
Commence fighting!
Rockman opens up a can of pummeling on Harp Singer, who bumps her head and wakes up.
Misora: "Huh? Where am I?"
Harp: "Oh, noez! She's awake!"
Misora: "Harp! OMG is that you!"
Harp: "Er...I can explain!"
Subaru: "Dude, that's an FM!"
Misora: "Really?"
Suddenly, the satellite police show up! Run awayz!
Now that there's no more lullaby, people are waking up. Luna wakes up to find Subaru offering her his hand. Luna's like, "Wow. I had the weirdest dream you were Rockman-sama." Then she slaps his hand away.

Back on the island, Misora is TICKED. Harp apologizes profusely and says, "Hey! We could be like a team, you know?" Misora's like, "Really?" Harp says, "Sure!" And Misora says, "Uber!"
Hey look! It's Misora's agent! Your Transer's ringing, dude. It's Misora!
"Sorry, Mr. Agent Man, I'm in the Himalayas! *click!*
Hooray for Harp Singer!

The chat Subaru had with his mom (froom what I could tell) consisted of something else. The part I got was that was that Akane was happy that Subaru's going to school again, so (now speculating) she's not angry with Subaru to be out at night like that.

I'd like to know exactly what Misora and Harp started to talk about towards the end back on the island. I'm fairly certain that it involved some amount of lying from Harp.

And for more general comments: I loved the fight scene, and I'm hoping that lullaby Harp used on everyone is turned to an actual song.

I wonder what black-haired version of Legend's Roll Caskett was pawning off on the big screen before Misora started playing! Interesting little cameo there.

Liked the smooth animation in the first beach scene with Misora going psycho, plus her defense against Rock's barrage. Very nice to see. I assume part of the scene Kesshou talked about involved Misora being upset that Harp was controlling the Harp Singer form. Since it seemed that Misora sorta broke out of her trance before Heiji showed up. And, well, cccd's probably somewhat accurate with that little rewrite. I'm sure her song will pop up a few more times, though. Otherwise, eh, alright eppy, but not a ton to talk about.

I'll get this out of the way first: *inhale* FINALLY NO MORE ANNOYING WORLD-OVERVIEW INTRO!!! *gasp* I doubt it'll last that way, but hey, it's nice when it's not there.

Frankly, even though Harp does have a certain amount of malicious intent behind her, it's definitely not rage and she definitely seems to enjoy Misora's company. I'm betting that now the scheme has been exposed, Harp is going to hold back and play nice, and eventually her intentions will follow suite.

I can't believe Luna caught Subaru transforming at a moment when she could brush it off as a dream. GRRRRR! Alas, it was so close too. Perhaps at least the seed of truth has been planted, and Luna will gradually and gracefully come to the conclusion the Subaru and Rockman are indeed the same.

As far as the animation quality goes, it's pretty much what I've come to expect from Ryusei no Rockman: simple art that lends itself well to focusing on the fine details of animating said art.

I really liked this episode. Just enough action and a nice hearty scoop of cuteness. Plus Subaru opening the battle with an attack was a nice deviation from the formula.

Dare I ask, which FM is going to take up the next two episodes?

And I wonder what Misora was freaking out about. Possibly because she couldn't crack the coconuts?

The only thing I can think of is he was in "Get Rockman" mode and was to hyped up to fall asleep, or was so focused on Rockman he wasn't paying attention to the music.

Yes, as previously mentioned...

Harp is the FM, Harp Note is Misora's title after she merges with Harp, and Harp Singer is Misora's stage name.

Yes the whole Harp Note vs Harp Singer is finally put to rest, since not only did the episode title say Harp Note, but War Rock, said that the merged form's name was Harp Note.

As for a possible reason to why he didn't fall asleep could of been the fact that he's merged with WarRock, how many times now? At least say 8 times, since I think it's been about 8 episodes since they first merged. So that could of factored in to it.

Since Gonta only merged once so far in the anime, that is one time compared to the several times that Subaru has used Denpa Henkan. I also want to know why Harp was putting everyone to sleep, maybe she was planning on drawing out War Rock again, so she could of been surprised to see him show up merged with a human, since Harp Note left before noticing Subaru, so she could of been surprised by him showing up while merged with a human since he didn't last time.

However the number one reason for the mix up between Harp Singer and Harp Note in my opinon was the fact that Misora could of just thought that it was a dream, or a nightmare cause I doubt she'd be dreaming about being confronted by a Wolf/Bear alien creature with gloing arms.

I thought it was Harp in control of them last ep and this one until Misora wakes up. Since when Harp in is control the visor is like sunglasses but when Misora is it's transparent and we can see her eyes.

Well, I was a little disappointed that Misora wasn't wearing a bikini like we had originally thought, but when I saw she was wearing the Misty-style shorty shorts, I felt better.

As for what she was ranting about, from what little I caught, I think she was pissed at her producer for one reason or another.

But what I wanna know is....how could she NOT know she was fused with Harp?! Utagai and Gonta knew he was being possessed, so why didn't she?

The fight scene was nice too, albeit a bit short. Subaru really knows how to use that Gatling.

And dear God, I wish I knew Japanese so I knew what Misora and Harp were arguing about.

All in all, good ep, but for me, it has brought about a new dilemma.

I have fallen for not one, but TWO cute girls! (Luna and Misora)

Whichever shall I choose? I WOULD DATE WITH YOU BOTH!

*ahem* Sorry 'bout that. Seeya on the Wave Road.

Let us all admit that. This eppy made us love Misora and Harp a little more. XD The part where Misora wakes up and looks around is priceless.

Fun fun episodes, and looking quite good too. XD

Can anyone translate the final dialogue with Harp and Misora? Puhleeeze?

From episode 10, we found out that Harp's pretty much a weakling compared to the other FMs we got to know so far.
My theory is that she's so weak that she has to "possess" somebody while that person is sleeping to gain some control.
Notice that aside from the... uh... "wormhole", Misora's in charge while awake.

Anyways, Harp introduced herself to Misora as a goddess of music, and that she chose Misora to help her make her own music.

As for Misora... er.... PMSing, she was releasing stress from being pushed around by that producer guy.

Another great episode with some very nice animation and action scenes.

The first scenes on the island were pretty beautiful to watch and the way Misora stressed was funny to watch. (Did she kick a coconut with her bare feet? I must keep in mind it is a cartoon or it was just to show how angry she was)

I find the relation between Misora and Harp interesting. In the end, she didn't seem too angry that Harp used her like this. I am not sure yet if Harp can be trusted, but she doesn't strike me as really evil.

The battle scene was very well done. Short, but enjoyable to watch. (to be expected within a 10-minute timeframe) I was a bit surprised how agressive Rockman was this time. He attacked first and dominated the battle. Misora/Harp defended well but it seems she is weaker then Rockman. On the other hand, Harp was in control. Maybe when Misora and Harp are working together they will probably be a lot stronger and more on Rockman's level. I mean, if I remembered last episode correctly, Harp and Misora were more effective in the last battle against Warrock.

Luna saw Subaru transform but now she thinks it is a dream. Oh well, it is a start as I guess Luna will look at Subaru a bit more differently from now on.

Very nice episode and I am looking forward to the next one. I really like both Misora and Harp as a character.

EDIT: I am not sure of myself anymore, but did Harp control Misora in the last episode as well? I am sorry for asking.

Harp was indeed most likely in control last time.

As for Harp Note beating down WarRock in the last episode, don't forget that Denpa Henkan strengthens the FM and widens its arsenal. WarRock overpowered Harp, Harp Note overpowered WarRock, and Rockman owned Harp Note.

It has now occured to my why Subaru was so zonked in the begining of the last episode. Harp was playing her lullaby that night, and because WarRock is a fellow FM, he was unaffected (or at the very least, agitated). At first I thought Subaru was just being sleepy and unresponsive, but shortly after Harp stopped her lullaby, Subaru woke up.

Cute episode. Wonder how Misora got to that island to begin with? I didn't see any boats...

The fight was neat, if short. Harp Note seems to use that guitar pretty well. I want one that can block bullets and create force fields!

Finally, the ending was funny, with Misora scaring the bejeezes out of that montain climber.

I'm wondering why Goyoda didn't fall asleep though... His driver certainly was.

Am looking forward to seeing more.
