Hehehe...sorry Unknown. Saw your question, it just skipped my mind to reply. -_-; Flame Hyenard is from X7. Quite possibly one of the hardest/most annoying boss fights in the X series, with it being the first expansive 3D area, plus if I remember right, your camera is locked, so you can't look around as easily as you can in the stage. Add that there are 3 of him, only one of which really takes the damage. And you have to climb a giant trojan horse walking around in lava, with nuclear missiles firing out, just to get to that one. Of course, the other two just have to follow you up there so they can pummel you with flames and charge at you. But worst of all, you have to sit through the entire fight with him saying, "BURN! BURN TO THE GROUND!" and "WHOOOOO!" non-stop. Choose his stage first and you are in for some frustration.

I have no problem taking requests, X-shunin, but I'm a bit backed up currently. Plenty I can put off, but at least 2 pics I'd like to get done first, plus the one I'm working on now. You can still PM me with the info if you'd like, just don't expect it right away. I can be notoriously wrong when I promise a deadline sometimes, so I won't say when. As long as that's OK with you, just lemme know.

Just wanted to make a little gift art for NumberGirl, for plenty of reasons. Most recently, offering an additional prize to the Valentine's Contest, but also for all the help she's given me behind the scenes working on Beast edits. Plus recording Ryuusei for us all to see is a nice thing, too.

I remembered that she called Meijin first in the "which character would you marry" thread. And, since I know that any NumberGirl I would design could possibly turn out rather frightening, like Bright Girly did, I decided to turn Makoto into NumberGirl! And it turned out better than I thought. So hold onto Meijin for dear life, NG, and thanks for everything!!

Tiny mass update, since I felt like posting stuff.

1.) If you haven't checked the contest thread, my certificate of appreciation for anybody who enters: Contest Trophy

2.) (Off topic) My annual Valentine's tradition, an 18 and Krillin pic. Yeah, finished early for once. Two versions; this one without a background, because the layers alter the colors in the final one: V-Day 07 Plain

3.) This one being the final version. Best I could do with my mouse for the background, although I still think I should've worked more on that palm tree. But the more I did, the more I think I made it worse. But I'm super happy about how Juuhachi turned out in this pic, so I can ignore that fact and ogle her instead! Wink

Think the moonlight layering effect turned out OK: V-Day 07 Final

4.) I listed a bunch of my future ideas in a "to do list" on my DA journal. Out of the dozens and dozens of comments I recieved, I guess people wanted to see me do a piece I'm calling "Red Bull Gives You Cygnus Wings!" Ok, ok, so maybe just two people commented and wanted it, but I started it anyway, since they were nice enough to say something. Just a rough WIP of some of the doodles and text ideas I'm doing for part one, which will look like a comic. Part two will be more of a polished pic/magazine ad spoof. And that's what's labeled #8 in this: Red Bull

Morphed into a 1,000 hit thank you pic for my DA viewers, although I know most of those come from people here, so I'm doubly thankful. Wonder what I'm gonna do when I hit 5,000 views in my thread here, which might be relatively soon. Although I'm probably responsible for 1,000 of them myself Confused

LOL.

Anyways, this pic involves Bubbleman as the Pillsbury Doughboy, doing some commercial work under director Videoman. Gateman has crashed the scene and can't help himself from poking Bubs in the tummy to hear that classic laugh, "PUKU!" Mmmmmmm....chocolate chip cookies!

Random thoughts: How the heck did I get an additional 300+ pageviews in that short time?! How bored were you people? So much for offering a free request pic to the 5,000th viewer. Didn't think I'd hit it yet. Maybe I'll save it for lucky number 7777. Well, thanks to whoever knocked the counter over and then some. I also love the ratio of those views in that time compared to each individual pic's views on DA. Always amuses me for some reason. So yeah, thanks again to everyone.

Back on topic, new piccies! Doing some art for the Ryuusei manga scanlation team. Guess it'll be placed on the credits page when each individual chapter is translated and ready for release. Right now I've handled two finished pics, one for Ch. 3 and one for Ch. 4. I can't say my pics are really spoilers, but if you don't read the chapter summaries provided by Malik or DrkX, maybe you don't want to see these yet. So that's your warning. I might have a Ch. 5 pic in the future too, depending on how well I can alter an alternate (that sounds funny) I did for Ch. 4.

Though it leads me to wonder what'll happen if the giant mallet lands on the machine instead... XD

Another pair of updates. Sorta. The pic I did for the Ch. 5 credits of the Ryuusei scanlation is done. Like I mentioned before, it was an alternate for Ch. 4. I cut out a Crowker and decided to put in Gemini Spark B, since he shows up in this one. Problem was that I drew the arms on the same side as Gemini Spark W has 'em. Mad

D'oh! So I had to do some surgery and reattach the arms to their correct sides. Not something I've really tried before. But I think I pulled it off OK. To mock myself, here's the original version of the Gemini pic, with slight commentary from the peanut gallery:
