At this point I kinda doubt they'd have much reason to want to adapt and pimp out anything that has to do with the remainder of the EXE series, let alone Ape Escape. If so, then those series would've most likely shown up alongside Star Force on that licensing page.

If they go with broadcasting it on TV, then they'd have no choice but to fuse two "episodes" together in order to fill an entire timeslot, not matter what channel its aired. They COULD try that, but they'd run out of episodes ridiculously fast. Personally, I still kind of think that Jetstream is the most realistic place for it to show up, since there the amount of time each episode takes up won't actually matter.

OMG, they licensed Ryuusei?! Meh, don't really care for it that much, considering it'll probably be on some cable/satellite channel that I won't be able to watch (i don't have cable or satellite). But all in all, I would have to say that I'm surprised Viz licensed it, but I'm pretty sure they'll dubbed it with the dub name that CoA will chose for Ryuusei. I wonder if they'll license the Ryuusei manga too???

They could always just do a DVD exclusive release of stream, they know how many of us are out there hoping for a dub so they might think we will buy it if its DVD only, I mean they still have to release the final NT Warrior volume & then possibly release axess.

I think they worked on stream, if not completed it. If im right I hope they release it. Im still pissed that they canned Zoids Fuzors, but now Im hearing rumors of Zoids Genesis being dubbed. A few animes in question are out there so all we can do is wait & see unless people who work on the series in question confirmed the cancellation or existence of dubs

My guess is that they'll combine two eps and show them in the same half-hour slot... kinda like how American cartoons like Fairly Oddparents and other Cartoon Network/Nick series work. Multiple stories in the one episode is pretty common, so as long as they don't try and blur the episodes, it should be ok.
And, of course, instead of using the pre-existing background music, they'll probably suppliment it with something terrib--... er, I mean... different.

Ryuusei getting dubbed is good.... but i still think that they should do Stream and Beast first so that it finishes off EXE.

What happened to the rest of EXE? Then again, seeing how they treated the series, maybe it is a good thing.

As for Star Force itself, maybe Viz can make it not suck.

That's a lot to hope for.

If they put Ryusei on Cartoon Network, I'm killing them. You see, I am satellite and cable TVless, and I WANT MY RYUSEI.

Well, they pretty much have no choice but to put it on CN. Kids' WB is sorta anti-anime right now, ( I think.) and 4KidsTV is out of the question. ( They pretty much stabbed One Piece til no one could reconize it. Razz )

Cartoon Network seems to be flooded with crap shows right now like Squirrel boy and Class of 3000, so maybe MMSF would be able to...replace some stuff? :B This is just me being a hopeful meanie. I don't really like a lot of the new shows they have on CN. And as much as RNR isn't as amusing to me as I hoped it would be, maybe that can change when I can understand it. AND if they dub it well.

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with VIZ, but seeing how good the dubbing for Lunar Knights was...I hope that VIZ can do the same for MMSF. As much as I'm not THAT into the naruto anime, the dub makes me dread Toonami just as much as the one piece dub. (Which is why I rely on shonen jump for my ninjas and pirates Razz)

So, maybe this is just me being hopeful. That MMSF will have ACCEPTABLE if not EXCELLENT dubbing. I've noticed that dubs have come along a bit better as the years go on...but only time can tell.

Did you just say that the naruto dub is as bad as the one piece dub?
That is a complete falsehood. I.E. a lie. But you are right in that squirrel boy isn't good. class of 200 is probably only good for music. The characters seem more stereotypical.

What? Now there's a Lunar Knights dub that I didn't know about? Shocked

Also, also I have stated before: Viz has been very good to Naruto, so why not MMSF? If they kept in both the blood AND Naruto's Sexy Jutsu, then it's a sign that they're getting better at dubbing. I don't see why there are still people who are complaining about Viz. ( Unless they don't even like Naruto. Razz )

Graphic dubbing is not the only thing that makes a good dub. It's also the actual dialogue. I don't think Naruto saying "believe it!" every other line is proof of Viz being "very good" to Naruto, or getting any better at dubbing. I have lots of friends who want to stab the dub for the bad dialogue, poor voice actors, and the butchering of the main character's name.
However, I don't watch the show, so I really don't care.
But that's not the point.
The point is that I am highly pessimistic about this MMSF dub. Name changes are inevitable, and I already shudder at the thought that young Subaru will probably be voiced by a grown man (like Lan and MegaMan in NT Warrior. *shudder*). I also foresee crumby American puns and bad dialogue inserted where there needn't be any dialogue, because that makes American kiddies laugh and the rest of us groan.

That aside, what is all this about a Lunar Knights dub? *is interested*

If such a dub comes out, maybe (just maybe) it would be wise to put on Toonami or Jetstream at least. So far, nobody has gone and bashed the network. Exclamation

... In all honesty, dialouge will be the last thing I'll ever worry about. I like the American puns and jokes, solely for their stupidity. I mean, that's pretty much what you're suppose to be laughing at in the first place, not the joke/pun itself. Razz ( But eh, this is coming from someone who's too used to the so called 'bad' dubbing to actually 'enjoy' a raw.)

Seriously, though, lighten up everyone! You guys are so negative! Viz might not get it on the ball, but it'll still be at least a little bit good, right? And even if it's 'completely butchered', as most of you would put it, I'll still watch it. Why? Because, like about 80% of the kids who will watch it, I have never seen a raw ep of RNR, so I can't judge dub eps solely on comparision to their original form like the rest of you. Nor do I plan on watching any. Wink

... But really, you guys are all negative. Sad
