I'd have to say that I'm a bit dissapointed that Forte is never really "resolved" at the end of everything... and I kinda wish Serenade, Cossack, Shun, and Mamoru had made some more appearances. I mean, if Mamoru's the Uranet's admin, he should have been able to help you out SOMEHOW later... and Cossack is... well, Cossack... Shun I suppose may have been a bit idle, but I liked the kid, he was kinda cool... after he stopped trying to kill you. |

I wish they really sprited the *Spoiler*adult forms of the casy*Spoiler*in EXE6.
And Forte, our favourite nigh-impossible secret boss, who had quite a good story going on in EXE3, never gets a wrap-up.

I think we all would have wanted those two. Or at least one of them. |

Oh, yeah, I'm also kinda dissapointed at how 4-6 kinda trailed off storyline wise. I kinda liked how 1-3 were directly related and there were the instances of foreshadowing/subtle little references to each other |

"MOI!!! KEIJI-SAN, I THINK SOME OF THE PHILIPPINE ANIME VIEWERS WENT BALLISTIC FOR THE ALLUSIONS USED IN THE ROCKMAN GAMES!!!"
All right, I know this is about the completion of EXE series but here's what I could say about the completion, well...Shun made short appearances, Tora too, and also Mamoru!
For the allusions (going off?), one of my classmates said that BN2 somewhat blasphemized the Bible for using Gospel as the name of the organization, also the dog boss as well...That's why she hated the EXE series for blasphemy...
Can you fetch me some Biblical allusions in all Capcom games?
Back to the conclusion of EXE series, I think I'm gonna kill Keiji-san for making Dekao a mayor of ACDC! _________________ Rockman.EXE Level-Up! coming soon! Work in progress to be exact! |

Tell her that Gospel is named after the singing style and genre, not the religious texts. _________________

Ugh... why does everyone have such a problem with Dekao as mayor, anyway? It makes perfect sense, just as long as you apply thought and get over the ridiculous knee-jerk reaction.

You know HK that is a strange thing to think. But I understand where they got it from. I think. And what canbi said was right they are weird but you have to think about it. |

Well, think about it for a moment. Rockman is filled with music puns and names, such as Rock and Roll, Blues, Forte...they're all taken from music. There is a vocal style and a genre of songs called Gospel, which originated as and still is a religious medium.
There's no more religious allusions in EXE than there are in your average Sci-Fi based video game. If Hatsuya's friend finds them then she is looking for things that don't really exist and will always find fault with it.
Rockman EXE promotes many good morals if you look at it. Looking out for others, selflessness, good triumphing over evil...also in EXE 4 and 5 there's the Darkchips which can be seen as a metaphor for not giving in to temptation, and finally in the finale of EXE 6 there are values of forgiveness and redemption. _________________

Very true. But I haven't really ever liked people who do things like that.
Depending on how zealotic (only word to describe it) they are, I liek them less and less. But that has always happened to everything. Like backmasking in records. Which reminds me of what I want to do with a cd once. |

Biggest regret is realizing that battle networks 1-6 could have been so much more. Dont get me wrong, i got hours upon hours of entertainment from these games, but it would have been nice to see more development of the great ideas that this series displayed. |

...Care to elaborate on what those ideas might be and maybe how they could've been developed? That is rather the point of the topic. Inquiring minds want to know! _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

For me it's exe 4 and 5 and partially 3, those are my biggest annoyances. Why'd they have to split the series into 2 separate games at 3, that's not fair. Though for 3 there really isn't a difference between the two versions. Second, IMO, there was a huge quality decline after 3.
Really for me the series could have ended at two or three. I had to endure 4 and 5 I stopped playing. I've recently been told that 6 is pretty good. I've played it for a little while and may consider finishing it... |

In my opinion the new series of rockman is just an add-on, because it has hardly no connection to the original BN series. I dont know all the details, but I dont think that there arnt even net navis anymore in the new game. |

With the Whole Forte Deal,
I was quite upset. Especially when BN6 came out, i figured he'd come in somewhere at the end.
Its like they just kept him hanging.
Its like, we want Forte to resolve his little human hatred problem, and youd think hed be a finality somewhere.
But no.
Again with Netto and Meiru i was upset.
i was hoping for that ending that everyone wants.
Netto getting married having kids Etc.
BUT NO.
Maybe soon to come in the next version being created within the confines of our people. _________________

There are Net Navis, but people no longer have personalised ones. Instead there are general, multipurpose Navis that perform different tasks like "Propellerman" and "Openman".
Ryuusei isn't very closely connected with EXE I'll admit, but in terms of gameplay there are many similarities. _________________

I didn't like the series after three. Don't get me wrong, they're all good games (except 4. I had GBC games I enjoyed better), but they seemed to get more childish after BN3.
I also wish they would've ended the series better. They just ended so sudden. The ending of BN3 would've been a way more satisfying ending to the series.
And the Bass/Forte thing? I really didn'tnotice it at first, but then I redid it and I'm like, WTF Bass' story was never resolved!!!!!
Overall, I liked the first part of the series (BN1-3) but the second part (BN4-6) should've continued off of 3, instead of making the player feel like he's playing an entirely different series.
Battle Network's 1,2, and 3 all felt like I was playing one continuous game, because they continued and left off at just the right parts, giving the player just enough info to want to get the next game, but 4-6 just took the plot of the games (Saito, Bass, and Lan & Mayl) and chucked the whole thing out the window. BN6 was the only game I felt was worth playing out of 4,5, and 6. |

Forte did have finality. He got eaten by Proto in EXE3. All subsequent appearances were as a secret boss and are not canon. |

He then met Gospel and they merged into Forte GS. It's even hinted to in the normal game's ending, outside of the Secret Area. _________________
