02/04/07: Rockman.exe Vocal Album CD - Now at Play-Asia!

Finally...FINALLY...we will be spoiled with the splendors of an official CD release of absolutely all of the opening and ending tracks from the EXE anime genres. From the beginning, all the way to Beast+, nothing will be left out! This fantastic album will debut on March 28th, and can be currently pre-ordered from Play-Asia for around $30.

Rockman EXE Series Vocal Album

Although we do not have a full track listing yet, there is mention of two extra bonus tracks, which will be:

Install Your Heart, by Aki - from Rockman.EXE
Heart Wave, by Misora - Ryuusei no Rockman OP

We can't wait! I've already pre-ordered this myself. ^_^ Props go to Atomic-Fire for finding this wonderful bit of info!

Update: It seems a track list is now available! There is still no word however on if these will all be full versions, or tv edits (not all songs were previously released with full versions).

That's totally cool! I hope we'll get full versions of some songs like the Axess opening or the Heart Wave one.

Say, Beast + had an original opening/ending theme? I'm asking because I can't remember hearing anything about that right now.

I wonder if they even MADE a full version of Futatsu no Mirai and Piece of Peace Oo or Hikari Todoku no Basho de for that matter (even tho there were two versions :p). Hmm... lessee... we have... (here comes a rather in depth analasys :D)

Kaze wo Tsukinukete (4:37)
Piece of Peace (1:39 if there isn't a full version)
Begin the TRY (3:27)
Futatsu no Mirai (1:30 if there isn't a full version)
Hikaru Todoku no Basho de (1:30 if there isn't a full version)
Be Somewhere (4:59) (I wonder if this'll be the mix from the series or the original Buzy mix Oo)
Doobee Doowop Communication (3:56)
Hikaru Todoku no Basho de ~ Yuujou no Shirushi (1:30 if there isn't another full version of this)
Shouri no Uta (4:12)
That ending song from Beast (I kind of dislike this song, so I don't have it... let's say... about 4 minutes)
Anata no Heart ni Install (I would also have to guess about 3-4 minutes)
Heart Wave (I'm betting this one is going to be a full version, 4-5 minutes)

Which adds up to about 40 minutes... And for people that don't know... you can put 80 minutes of music on a normal CD, but that is if every song (with the exception of Heart Wave) that we don't already have a full version of, won't have a full version (and I haven't even thought of Beast+ yet...). So... discluding the possibility of a double CD... I doubt they'll have karaoke tracks... But I WANT to be proven wrong on this one!

I just really hope it's gonna be a double disc thing and that they include the karaoke tracks AND have all the songs in full version (if there are any anyway) ^___^
They could also always just don't do the karaoke tracks already released... but... that's not... really... well it would just look weird Oo.
And worse case scenario they could ALL be on-air-size versions... (I mean 'Be Somewhere' is defenitely different on air than it is on Buzy's CD...)
Best case scenario :p they'll release the instrumental versions (so not the karaoke versions) of all the tracks used in the series when things are looking Netto and Rockman's way Razz

(and still be full versions... cause we know at least Kaze Wo Tsukinukete has a full instrumental version from the episode with Netto versus Beef-shirai Razz

)

I'd have difficulty deciding whether or not I'd sell my soul for a full version of Futatsu no Mirai. It needs one, badly.

I'd noticed the single version of Be Somewhere was different as well.

Beast + never had an opening song like the others. It just had 15 or so seconds of credits at the opening set to the Crossfusion Theme, the one from the Movie, I think.

I hope we finally do see a full length Piece of Peace and Futatsu no Mirai. They were both really nice songs, and it's a shame that they never did get the full length treatment.

I see "first print" as the TV version of the songs. You know, it *seems* a song is recorded for the TV, later for a CD. If this is true, so we MIGHT expect full versions of Futatsu no Mirai, but NOT the full version of Heart Wave, as example.

I really don't know if the whole "these two trackers are only on the first print" is true. CD Japan says nothing of this yet, but I have seen more than one report that the first print bonus will instead be a Transer Card to use with Ryuusei no Rockman. This falls more in line with the usual first print bonuses for the EXE genre.

My thesis would be that the last two tracks as just simply what they are, "bonus tracks". This is highly common with a lot of cd releases.

BTW, this cd is also now up for pre-order with our affiliate, Play-Asia. Help REO and order through our link. @_@

I'd like to own a legit copy of this CD, instead of doing the pirate method. Pirate may be cheaper, but there's something nice about owning a legitimate copy.

From looking on e-Capcom, the Vocal Album also includes a Special Giga Class Wave Battle Card for use on the Wave Scanner, "GorgonEye". For an added bonus to First Prints.

It's definitely easier to get another Giga Class Card this way instead of getting those Wave Battle Card Booster Packs. I'll have my third Giga Class Card through this. =p
