|

No no, no news yet of a soundtrack, sorry if I got your hopes up. But with the upcoming release of the Vocal Album including all the full versions (hopefully!!!) of the openings and endings for all Rockman EXE series (from the first season till Beast, I wonder if there'll be anything for Beast+) the chance of a Rockman EXE Soundtrack (or Sound Navigation 02) has increased dramatically!
(If you're not interested you should probably stop reading now, this could get boring :p)
But there are of course a lot of ways to release such a thing. For example there's still some music (most notably the music played in the Forte-Gospel-BugStyle Rockman arc) from the original series that has yet to be released. Also missing is:
- The theme that plays at 18:18 in Episode 24 (the evil Pharaoman theme)
- The theme that plays at 20:36 in Episode 25 and 21:14 in Episode 51 ('okiiri Rockman' should ring a bell)
- The theme that plays at 4:39 in Episode 25 and 17:33 in Episode 56 (Net Agents theme?)
- The Jawaii Theme
- And the Kaze wo Tsukinukete instrumental.
Yes I know you're probably gonna say that Kaze wo Tsukinukete thing was released on Sound Navigation 01, but that is... I don't know what it is, but it has never ever (as far as I know) been in any of the episodes.
If you listen closely the ones they use are very different. There are actually four different versions (I think).
1. In the very first episode is was just a karaoke track from Kaze wo Tsukinukete with no melody thingie.
2. The one used most of the time, which has a melody replacing the vocals. Probably this one has a real full version, which you can hear in Episode 53.
3. The one used in episode 13 (and some other episodes, I believe) which has a completely different and new part. Also you can hear it in Episode 5 and in one or two other episodes I believe.
4. The one that's on Sound Navigation 01
However 2 and 3 could be the same track.
So if they were to include also Rockman EXE original series music it would make me happy, but how would be the best way to do it?
I think that On Air versions of the openings are in this case just a waste of time on the disc, so what I think they should do is to divide each series with a karaoke and instrumental track of the series. And in the beginning of that series segment put the title tune for each episode and then also in about the middle of that series segment put the eyecatches (with or without text, doesn't matter to me). Like this (I'm taking Stream for this example):
- Be Somewhere (On Air Size, Karaoke) (the track they use for the "next time" part)
- In the beginning of the first track of this segment the title tune.
- Some tracks.
- A track with in the end the first eye catch tune.
- A track with in the beginning the second eye catch tune
- Some tracks
- Be Somewhere (Instrumental) (the one played in episode 40 and 46 and maybe more, I dunno)
And do that with every series... it would probably mount to a double disc or maybe a triple disc... lol those are just what I hope it would be... knowing Capcom it might not even be released AT ALL... Well, what's your opinion? (and I hope I didn't bore you to death, which i probably did anyway) _________________

I would give so much to see a release of the music used in Axess, Stream, and Beast. I thought it had better music then the first series. Mostly, I just want Shademan's theme. And Dark Blues.
However, at this point, I'd say we're grasping straws. As much as I hope differently, they're probably not going to release the series' music. Now a Ryusei no Rockman soundtrack isn't too far off since it's a new series and selling the soundtrack is another way of bringing in people.
ANyways, just rambling at this point. Ignore me. It was a long day at work @_@ _________________ Sometimes I hear voices. Then I hang up the phone.

Yes, but you mean tracks 1, 29, and 30 right? Unless you have a different soundtrack than I have Oo However, only 29 is backgroundmusic they actually used and 1 is just the opening. I swear if you listen closely 30 is defenitely not the track they used.
And I really meant just the version they used for the parts at the end virtually 90% of the battles :p I hadn't even thought of the ballad version yet _________________

I would LOVE the release of that 'Futatsu no mirai' piano version. It plays during 'sad' moments of Axess mainly, a few times during Stream and Beast. -_- |
