Okay, since I'm never gonna play Battle Network 2 because of my lack of interest in EXE ever since playing other games, I need to know...

What were the schemes of the bosses from EXE2? When I say schemes, I mean like, for example, Flashman's scheme from EXE3 was that he would warp around and release very quick attacks, or rather, when he was going to activate flash, you had to destroy two pillars rather quickly to stop it.

Well the first scenario is in the gas computer. You move around and open and close gas valves, getting pushed by and avoiding cybergas to reach paths.

The second scenario are a bunch of hidden bombs, you walk through paths but some eventually explode and you have to find another path to destination.

The third is inside Scilab's mother computer, you have to bypass the security inputting passwords by walking on letter panels.

The fourth is in Netopia's castle, you enter in some computer that makes traps work, and you go through paths avoiding some "zombies".

The fifth scenario is inside a plane's computer, there are electromagnetic disturbances that you have to clear by reaching some control spots, but there are magnetic interferences that will pull or push you.

The sixth "scenario" isn't really a scenario but more going around the internet to break ice.

The final scenario is inside Kotobuki's Square computer, there's such some powerful radiations there that the real world is fusing with the cyberworld, and the interferences have messed up the elevator computer. Into the elevator computer you'll find a bunch of teleporters but that will be "interferenced" with servers on the several floors of the building, so going through the teleporter will bring you to the server, you need to collect the scattered data so to make the teleporter work normally again.

Edit: crap, I completely misread this post. x.x'''

I could've sworn you wanted to know about the stage scenarios schemes and not the bosses schemes...

Schemes really isn't the best word to use...more like "attack patterns".

Airman- Shoots tornados at you in various formations. Not much in terms of strategy.

Quickman- When he is standing still, he'll block everything you throw at him. After he uses Quick Boomerang, he is vulnerable for a few seconds.

Cutman- There's a rock in the middle of both your fields, so you can only move around the edges. He summons little scissors to go around the area, so you have to keep moving. He isn't very hard, but his attacks do a lot of damage.

Shadowman- Creates copies of himself that shoot fire waves at you. Every once in a while he'll jump into the air and throw a ninja star at you. Battle takes place on grass panels.

Knightman- Exactly the same as in EXE5.

Magnetman- Stays in the back row. The center row is comprised of magnet panels that pull you in. He specializes in homing attacks like Magnet Missile and Gravity Ball. After removing half his HP, he begins to use NS Tackle.

Freezeman- Remains stationary in the back row. Covers himself in a giant crystal to shield himself while using Ice Tower. Once you break the shield, wind will blow you to the rear, and he'll also use Icicle Fall and drop icicles on your field. After, he'll regenerate the crystal. Takes place on Ice panels.

Copy Bass- Uses Air Burst and Explosion. Very weak and easy to destroy. He doesn't even have Life Aura to hide behind.

Gospel- Bugfrags constantly fly at you. You can only hurt him when his mouth is open, which is usually when he attacks. As the battle progresses, he'll start copying the attacks of Airman, Quickman, and Cutman. When his HP is low, he'll begin to inhale air, and then breathe flames of whatever your weakness is three times. Since you're being sucked forward, your timing has to be very good to dodge, as it can do a lot of damage if you're caught unawares.

If you don't have a style weakness, I think Gospel actually blows Fire, Elec, and Ice at you... one right after the other... it's been a while...

Well, Gospel breathes random elements if you're on neutral styles.

And by the way, Quickman is also vulnerable while jumping from square to square, so it's a good opportunity to nail him with auto-aiming, time-freezing chips.

... Dude. You haven't played BN2?!??! It's like the best Battle Network game aside from BN3 (personally, I think it's even better than 3)! If you haven't played Battle Network 2, than you're really mising out. Unlike BN3, you can trade styles, which comes in handy sometimes, and the most powerful chips & Advances come from this game!! There's one called HeavyStamp that takes 800 HP!

On a side note, have you ever played the first game? If you have, you would already know about the PowerUps. In the second game, you can increase Heatguts' chargeshot to 100, or make AquaGuts' chargeshot almost instant!

If you really want to know about the game, I suggest you go out and get it, because it's WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY BETTER THAN 4, 5, and it's even better than 6!

Well, actually...he uses Air Bomber most of the time...the cloud. Air Shooter (the three tornadoes) will sometimes come inbetween. The move that is telegraphed blatantly is Twin Tornado though, which is similar to Tenguman's Fuujin Tornado.

Quote:
Quickman- When he is standing still, he'll block everything you throw at him. After he uses Quick Boomerang, he is vulnerable for a few seconds.

Also, Quickman can throw his Quick Boomerang in succession and follow up by warping in front of you and attacking with V-Sword. You'll need to dodge three times in a row.

Quote:
Cutman- There's a rock in the middle of both your fields, so you can only move around the edges. He summons little scissors to go around the area, so you have to keep moving. He isn't very hard, but his attacks do a lot of damage.

Surprise Chokin is his point-blank snip while Cut Boomerang is when he throws his blade. All his attacks go down the row he stands on while Rolling Cutter simply attacks the perimeter of your area. Area Steal is your friend here.

Quote:
Shadowman- Creates copies of himself that shoot fire waves (Bakuen) at you. Every once in a while he'll jump into the air and throw a ninja star at you. Battle takes place on grass panels.

Should also mention that the Kage Bunshin are easily destroyed, just like in EXE5. He also has many more attacks than just Kawarimi Shuriken. He can also attack with his sword (Yamiuchi) and so can his Bunshin (Bunshin Giri). Later versions of Shadowman can perform Muramasa Blade, a huge pain.

Quote:
Magnetman- Stays in the back row. The center row is comprised of magnet panels that pull you in. He specializes in homing attacks like Mag Missile and Mag Ball. After removing half his HP, he begins to use NS Tackle.

Freezeman- Remains stationary in the back row. Covers himself in a giant crystal to shield himself while using Ice Tower. Once you break the shield, wind will blow you to the rear, and he'll also use Tsurara Fall and drop icicles on your field. After, he'll regenerate the crystal. Takes place on Ice panels.

Copy Forte- Uses Air Burst and Explosion. Very weak and easy to destroy. He doesn't even have Dream Aura to hide behind.

Gospel- Bugfrags constantly fly (Junk Flyer) at you.

Gospel's other attacks include Dynawave and a drill (I forgot the name).

There's also Pharaohman, Napalmman, and Planetman. Pharaohman basically keeps setting up Pharaoh Trap, which either summons Meteors, Chuuton viruses, or Pharaoh Snakes. He'll use Pharaoh Cube for defense and from time to time, he'll summon Coffin Laser. Overall he's pretty easy as long as you can avoid the traps.

Napalmman is EXACTLY the same as he was in EXE5. He'll constantly attack with the Vulcan Arm turrets, launch Fire Bombs when he stops moving, and after a while, he'll launch NapalmBomb.

Planetman constantly uses Double Planet. Two planets will constantly orbit and change colors. Planet Fire attacks with Flame Tower. Planet Water attacks with Aqua Tower. Planet Thunder attacks with Rabbiring. Planet Green restores HP. Sometimes a fighter jet (Boueigunsentouki) will move into your area and start firing shots. Easily destroyed. The only time Planetman will actually attack is when you see a Black Hole form on his body. When that happens, inseki/meteorites will constantly fly in from behind.

I only didn't play BN2, BN4BM, (the last parts of) BN4RS, and BN5TP.

So yeah, I know about power ups. They're a pain, and dead annoying. I like navi cust better. (You can get Heat Guts to be just as powerful as you just described with the navi cust XD)

Also, thanks for the descriptions. I believe I played through the Airman scenario...but I stopped playing...for some reason. I think... O_o;

You should keep playing. It's a good game, except for the long FreezeMan scenario. that one can get annoying.

Napalmman is actually somewhat more annoying, for the bombs he tosses can crack panels, and leave them burning for a while. Nasty.
