It's sooooo... dull here Neutral . lets shed a few laughs while this passes. I've seen Ryuusei no Rockman already, and I wish to know your favorite scenes from this anime and Rockman.exe, being that I'm still new here. Please, be honest and you can talk about three scenes (to make reading a lot easier and to save space). No flames, obviously, and links to such scenes are not allowed. Images are allowed, though. Have fun (if anyone actually posts here)! Abayo.

But, to share before I go, I thought the part in RnR episode 12, where Goyoda was chasing Subaru, was completely INSANE (note: do not try to drive car sideways).

I gotta say, the scene between War Rock and the dog in episode 19 is funny. A dog and a dog-like head fighting over the parcel is just plain funny.

But the scene in episode 18 just takes the cake, when Cancer Bubble tries to punch Rockman but is just stopped and held in place by Rockman's hand.

So far not a lot of extremely memorable stuff on Ryuusei for me, tho it's growing on me :p

A scene where I actually laughed out loud would be...
one of Rockman EXE Beast+'s episodes with those guys from Beyondard (those driller dudes, don't know their names anymore XD) And then the scene where the driller duo is laughing and Netto says "Hahaha JA NAI!!!" That seriously cracked me up XD I hope this isn't considered as a spoiler :S

Lessee... I love the scene from Stream 40 where the Be Somewhere instrumental is playing (yeah I usually like those kinds of scenes, but this is my favourite one).

Actually also from Beast+ (it's the worst of the five series, but it had some good moments :D) was the part where Trill suddenly shows up and frees Netto and Rockman. Yeah, it was COMPLETELY out of the blue and random, but it somehow just seemed right Oo.

Well, there we go ^__^

I think one of my most memorable scenes was from Stream. Laika uses Cross Fusion to save Netto from a deadly fall, then lands, holding Netto up by the back of his vest. Netto just gets irritated and rants "Boku wa neko ja nai!" ("I'm not a cat!") XD I laugh every time I watch it.

There's also always the scene were Rockman gets a bandaid stuck to his ass, and Netto doesn't bother to tell him about it. *snorfles*

Whiiiiiiiiiich also leads to a major plot point XD

I thought a rather funny set of scenes was from Rockman Beast 4...or was it 5? Whichever was the one Foghorn calls the phantom..

Yeah, Trill scaring Rockman about his fear of ghosts. HILARIOUS XD

Yeah, episode 4. Real funny as Rockman does all he can to suppress his fear. Not to mention the end of the episode where he releases a Super Special Awesome-ly loud scream.

Let us not forget from WAY back in EXE episode 2.

When Netto & Meiru go to visit Dekao in the hospital and Meiru stamps Netto's foot and elbows him in the stomach. That very image even got put on one of the TCG cards.

That episode with the beach and CF members, when the ghost Yuuichirou makes says "kutsu, kuuutsuuuu", or "shoe, shoooeeee". It cracks me up everytime.

Also anything humourous involving Nenji is good for me, but that's simply because I'm a fanboy for him. Razz

Still, the whole "Nenjiro ja ne!" thing isn't too bad.

True, but mind translating the quote, that is, if you could?

Nenjiro ja ne! = I'm not Nenjiro!

Too add to the topic, anything Dingo-related involves humorous shenanigans. Especially when he fails to be a ninja in Stream 33. Razz

What about when Trill drops a bug down the back of Dingo's shirt? XD

I thought Ja ne meant goodbye.

I think it's because it's a contraction of "Ja mata" or something like that? Besides homonyms aren't exactly uncommon in Japanese as it is.

I think... it's like an accent type of thing... don't hold me to this, but the completely correct grammer would be Nenjiro ja nai. I think... In any case it was pronounced ja ne, but that could either be just an accent or slang kind of thing (like see ya, instead of see you). So then it would indeed be spelled Nenjiro ja ne!
But again, I'm not an expert, but it's a logical explenation to me :D

In any case the pronounciation is different.
Ja ne! (as in goodbye or bye) is Dj (as in djinn) ah (as in America) -(definite spacebar, ja and ne sound like two seperate words)- ne (as in negative)
and
Nenjiro ja ne! is Nenjiro Dj (as in djinn) a (as in America) ne (sounds more like something between ne and nai (japanese pronounciation))
In any case the first one defenitly sounds like ja and ne are seperate words whilst the second ja ne sounds more like one word, something like ne pas in french. (tho anything pronounced in french usually seems like on word Oo)

Wow. Complex gramatical hypothesies are fun.
My favorite episode for funnies is Stream 36 as far as EXE is concerned. Netto pulls a prank on Rockman, Meijin gets in on it and gets a case of the giggles, and of course, Dark Rockman pulls a couple nasties that make Netto go OMFG! (Hey! Just ignore the horrible traffic accidents and go to school already! and Hey! You're broke, so let me go rob a bank for you!)

As far as Ryusei no Rockman is concerned, I like episode 19. WarRock talking with his mouth full and then arguing with a dog is just hysterical. And any scene with Luna fawning ridiculously over Rockman is amusing. Razz

I asked my friend who's Japanese and he says it's sarcasm, because "ja ne" is affirmitive instead of negative, it's sort of like 'oh I'm Nenjiro am I?!?'.

Yeah, the Dog vs. WarRock scene was gold.

I also liked episode 3 of Ryusei no Rockman. Subaru bashing his head into a window, and later screaming "OMG THEY WANT TO DESTROY THE EARTH" on a train full of people is just priceless.
Oh, and then WarRock asks, "What's a school?"
Priceless.

It's a long 'e' sound. "Nenjiro ja nee!" It's a boyish slang way to say "Nenjiro ja nai".

Arigato, mina! I appeciate your support here. In return, I shall tell you another funny scene. In Ryuusei no Rockman 8, I thought the beginning, where warrock says "lets go!" to Subaru so many times go me on the floor. When Subaru snaps (AA MO!), very priceless. Laughing
