Other than HubStyle, I mainly like GutsStyles. HeatGuts is the best to use on Grass, plus, it has a charge shot of 100 HP. AquaGuts is second best, though. It has a faster chargeshot, but it only takes 50 HP.

I just prefer any shield style because its an offensive and defensive style that gives you great navi customizer blocks in BN3!

I don't care what anyone else says, I love my Heatguts V3 from BN2. That thing has one hundred points of damage per charged shot, and I've killed Gospel with that thing more times then I can count.

Although the Slash Cross is pretty nifty.

Teah. The Slash Cross is like the best Cross in BN6. That one is awsome against Gregar.

For the Styles, I also like Wood Style 'cause of the invinciblity cheat (Undersht, Grass stage, and Wood Style).

Actually Dust Cross is better, because you can go through your folder quickly to find the combos. Recycle Chute for the win!

Though I enjoy SlashCross for its versatility and the fact that it makes sword chips beastly, I have to agree that DustCross is better, simply because it has a powerful library manipulation aspect attached to it. It's certainly on par than SearchSoul, simply because those chips that are thrown in the chute are guaranteed not to be redrawn for that specific shuffle. However, SearchSoul allows the player to shuffle up to thrice, which potentially can go through more of a player's library.

DustCross is always a welcome addition to my repertoire of strategy.

Crosses...? This is a style thread, no?

Anyways, gotta go with all the people who say... *dramatic pause* WoodGuts!! *confetti* I completely own with that thing in BN2.

On a more general note, I just like Styles better in BN2. You can have multiple ones you can switch between and the charge shots level up automatically instead of you having to try and fit in those annoying Weapon+1 programs in. *grr*

Yeah. I don't know. It is a style thread. Someone just brought it up back there. Anyway, my brother has BN6 Cybeast Falzer, so I haven't used DustCross ever, but I owned Gospel w/ Heatguts, Aqua Guts, and Hubstyle (Mostely Hubstyle), Destroyed Alpha w/ Woodbug, and sliced Gregar w/ slash Cross.

Shuffle is random though, so you can always end up with different or the same useless chips. Trash Chute dumps them at the end of the folder and if you're recycling a whole 5 chips there's pretty good odds you'll find at least one you wanted, especially if you've already used a few.

Ultimatez: Crosses give very similar effects to Style Changes so it's not surprising they'd turn up. Besides I think they're a better choice as they're not permanent, so if you've got a disadvantage it's not for long, but they can be long lasting.

Nenji, I took that into account in my original post--however, Shuffle does have the ability to go through more of the folder--depending on when it is used, it should have a better expected return. With 20 chips left in your library, you're likely to reshuffle into unused chips, while with only 10 chips left in your library and a hand size of 8, the odds are overwhelmingly against you that you will shuffle into the other two odd chips.

So Shuffle possibly could be better than Trash Chute towards the beginning of a match, but its effectiveness drops off as more chips are consumed, and towards the end the value of the latter becomes more apparent.

I don't know. I like Styles better Cool . I don't know. In BN2, you could trade them, and they could be powered up and customized to be improved. In BN4-6, Souls, Crosses, and Beast Outs can't be traded and I don't think you can power up a cross with the Navi Customizer. I don't know. I never tried Question but I've played w/ crosses/ Beast Outs and I'm better w/ styles. A better thing about crosses though is the abilities, like Erase cross' ability.

P.S. I just played my brothers game as Dust Cross. It's awsome. Especially shuffle. I haven't really been much for the new abilities, though. I like the Styles better.

Let's make an analogy...

Say you're playing this card game. Would you rather send 5 cards from your hand to the bottom of your deck (and possibly not see them for the rest of the game) and draw 5 new ones, or add them to your deck and shuffle before re-drawing?

Well, the chips you send into your Chute or Shuffle may matter. Imagine you Chute a piece of a PA just to draw into the other pieces. In such a scenario, shuffling may prove to be a better option.

Not to mention that Shuffling can affect a larger size of the hand than the Chute can. Sure, Shuffle's locking is limited by the chip selection rules, but the same goes for the Chute. So unless you have a unicoded folder, you'll end up Chuting around 2 to 3 chips.

I never really think about these things. It's just my personal opinion that Styles are better, and not to mention I play better w/ them than crosses (besides Slashcross and Dust Cross). I personaly don't think about this that much, I just play better with Styles.

But yeah, this has gone a little bit off topic, so lets leave it at this. Its just my opinion. It doesn't have any logic to it whatsoever. I just like Styles better.

Considering Unicode folders in general are more effective than those using multiple codes, it's not an issue. Besides, you don't chute things you need, it's just common sense. Sometimes you'll have to choose between one or two prospective PAs, but that's an issue regardless. Besides the Shuffle NCP in EXE 6 only shuffles once, which disregarding it's size makes it less viable again.

Well, i go with Guts Style, here are some explanation of each style according to my opinion

Guts = Good at attacking, efficient since Rock Buster will be often used when Chip Attacks are all used up. Remember, good offense is the best defense

Shield = Good at defense, reflects enemy attacks, can be used as an optional Buster to delete enemies

Brother = Good at Navi Summon, Deals more damage by Mega Chips, easier Navi PA

Custom = Good at easiness of PA performing, Lots of chips in hand can make various attacks in one turn

Saito = Good at all status, except when fighting a quick and has large HP amount Boss/Navi

And remember, you can't use some Elemental Advantages by using Saito style, not like Heat Guts or so, you can use Charge Attack, Flame Thrower to deal more damage to wood enemies

it would be wood guts. Since you can use the machine gun and install the auto grass navi-cust program. You automatically regain health way fast and you can just sit there and take hits as well as fire the machine gun. Works well on Alpha in BN3

Heat Guts all the way. In bn 2, I leveled to v3 and that was burnning. Buster charge did 100 damage and had a 1x3 range. I hit all the rows! And by reducing the charge time, I basicly did 100 damage every few seconds. It's the best way to be gospel. Well not really, but it's how I did...

I beat Gospel once with heatguts, then my game accidentally started over, so next I beat him with AquaGuts, and then after I beat everyone else and obtained Hubstyle, I destroyed him for the fun of it.

And I really always get most of my elemental advantages from my chips, so for me it doesn't really matter to me about the elementless Hubstyle. I just like it for the abilitis, and if I feel the need for a style element, I just switch to Aqua Guts.

And in BN3, I (guilty as charged) used my GameShark to obtain Woodbug, and I've been fighting with Bug Styles ever since. I still say that Hubstyles better though.

What? You're using Bug Style?
I got the Elec Bug the other day, but i think it's a little unsuitable.
Rockman is so often pulled to the upper or lower panel, thus denies my operation.
How can i operate him well if he doesn't follow my instruction?
That's the most annoying one
But, I'm okay with the HP Drain when Battle or Custom Window Swap

Once i mastered it, i got Aqua Guts Style, that's much better
