Ryuusei no Rockman Ch5 Summary (Spoilers!)

Ryuusei no Rockman Chapter 5: Mezame no doki (hour of awakening)

The man introduces himself as Goyouda Heiji of the Satellite Police. Rockman exclams "Satellite Police!?" as Heiji explains that he's looking for Denpa vigilantes and shows that the UFO has been completely surrounded by Satellite Police spacecraft. Heiji then begins to go on about his he managed to infiltrate the Wave Coliseum event and how he specifically hoped to net War Rock. As he talks, Rock chews off the handcuff attached to Rockman's arm as Gemini-kun tears his side off with ease. Heiji is rather shocked as a subordinate calls him and asks for orders. Suddenly the UFO disappears from the crowd of Satellite Police craft....and reappears in the middle of outer space.

Heiji is all alone as the Wave Coliseum round 3 commences! A Denpa-kun appears on Heiji's head as it announces round 3, completely ignoring Heiji's intervention. With that, a boxing ring suddenly forms in the center of the room. It's a one on one duel! Each corner post holds a Mystery Wave. Inside each wave is a battle card. It's simple...pick a card and fight! "START-desu!!" The Denpa Kun takes a giant mallet and sends Heiji flying, signaling the start of the match.

Back down on Earth, all the people in the audience, including a madly cheering Ox, watch on a large screen as Gemini Spark W and Rockman face off. They may be friends, but only one of them can win the Star Force. With that, Gemini-kun jumps to the nearest corner and picks up the Mystery Wave. Battle card....Thunder Ball! Gemini-kun fires a massive ball of electricity at Rockman. Rockman runs, but the ball follows him everywhere! Rockman runs to a corner and grabs the Mystery wave...Battle card: Brave Sword!

With a new wearpon in hand, Rockman swings the Brave Sword and releases a sonic boom at the Thunder Ball...only for it to pass right through. However, Gemini-kun is standing in it's path. Simultaneously, both are hit by each other's attacks. A beaten Heiji laughs as both fighters fall from their corners. However they both get up....and aim their default weapons at the remaining two corners. They destroy the remaining two Mystery Waves! Looks like it's a fight of natural abilities only.

The two combatants leap at each other as they exchange punches to each other's faces. Eventually, the two decide to finish things in one final attack. Rock buster! Gemini Thunder! The two blasts collide! Heiji watches as one tries to overpower the other. Gemini-kun manages to push Rockman into the ropes of the arena. It looks like Rockman has lost....until Gemini-kun's arm overheats! It's a chance for Rockman as he fires another Rock Buster blast at a now defenseless Gemini-kun. It's a hit! Gemini-kun falls face first into the floor of the ring! It appears Rockman has won the Wave Coliseum competition!

With that, Rockman goes to help his opponent to his feet. He grabs his hand, only for it to be crushed. Suddenly Gemini-kun uses his other arm and fires a blast, nearly hitting Rock in the face. Gemini-kun? No....it's not him. His face, normally calm, has become sinister...and his hair and armor have become dark...Gemini Spark B!

Well, I actually have the full chapter scanned and uploaded. Whether I want to post them here or not is iffy though. I'm not sure if I can trust everyone since these scans are supposed to be for the purpose of the scanlations only. I would hate if someone were to steal the scans and pass them off to someone else.

(Speaking of scanlations, Ch2 is finished but we're still in search of a translator for Chapter1. I had someone at first but he's seemed to have disappeared. :/)

Hmm...I see. You could PM it...but you don't have to if you don't want to.
I don't have the scans for the other chapters anyway, so I'd be lost.
Speaking of scanslations, do you have the scanslation for chapter 1? I can't find it anywhere.

You could say it's both as well as the fact that I just don't feel like locking up the scanlation project. While it would suck if the work was stolen....it'd be rather obvious...especially if happens inside the Rockman community as everyone knows each other. :/

Plus, by keeping it open, we've been getting more help. (though lacking translators and my Japanese isn't nearly as good enough as it needs to be for direct translations through translation checking is a breeze for me.)

This doesn't really merit its own topic, so I'm gonna post it in the most recent manga thread. The first volume of Ryusei no Rockman released in Japan on March 28th, and Amazon Japan has a low-res image of the cover artwork. (And, well, it's pretty friggin creepy.)

At first I thought it was just a direct colorization of an image from one of the chapters I've seen. Guess not. Although it probably still is one, by the looks of it. Nothing original in terms of cover content?! Sad

Still kind of a cool looking piece of art with them looking a little beat up and psychotic.
