I think it's a very intreresting question. How and When did you start liking the MegaMan series. For Me, I saw the premere of MegaMan nt warrior when I was littler and I soon got the Battle Network games. I then began to get the Zero games and I got MegaMan X Command Mission for Christmas.

What made you get into the series?

Actually a friend of mine introduced me with Rockman EXE and japanese with english subbed anime all together :p (and what a co-incidence, he went on-line as I wrote that :D). It was back in... well somewhere in 2002 I think just when the first season or something was released. I wasn't instantly hooked, but it didn't take long :p.

By the way, my friend got into it through playing Battle Network1 and most others. He was also already a Megaman fan before that tho. I'm not really fan of the rest of the Megaman franchise, just Rockman EXE and Ryusei no Rockman to an extent :D

In the end I saw about three times as much of the Rockman EXE series as he did :p

Same Here. I like the Battle Network series, but the X and Zero Series are both second and third best (I've only played a classic MM game on my mom's cell phone, so I don't know that much about the classic series. Just the main plot).

i bought bn 3 white just to say that i tried playing the game, and then i could say without a doubt that the megaman series sucked. however, i was pleasently suprised on how awesome it was. Then the nt warrior series started getting good, what with Gospel, and that is how i became such a fan!

Well... I first heard the name MegaMan when I borrowed ( A looong time ago) my friend's copy of MegaMan 64 ( A.K.A MegaMan Legends for the N64). It was pretty hard for him, but I enjoyed it and managed to get up to MegaMan Juno... Then I moved, so I never saw my friend again, and I kept the game at the back of my mind as a good one for the ol' 64...

After a while, I saw that a show called MegaMan: NT Warrior was going to air on KidsWB soon... ( Mind you, this is around the time I was in 4th/5th grade.) so I decided to watch it. I liked it, but I didn't really get hooked until they showed reruns of part of the first season before moving onto the next.

Afterwards, I sept the summer in Honduras with my cousins, and I discovered NT Warrior in Spanish. ( Yay! :D ) I also found out there was an actually game series that came with the anime ( Yeah, I didn't know the games existed before that. First impressions mean a lot. Razz ) so I started off with BN2. Then I got the other games as I found them/ as they came out, and that's it. ^_^

BN2 was probably the best one to start out with seeing as BN1 kinda sucked.

BN1 didn't suck! It was a good game and it was better than BN4. It had less abilities and stuff, but it was still a good game. (10 of the same chips in 1 folder makes for an uber powerful folder!)

I started off with BN3 Blue, and then I got BN4 Blue Moon, BN5 Team Colonel, and then BN2. BN2 was the best BN game in the series (just my opinion). But I started off with nt warrior when I was ending the 4th grade, and I got MMBN3 Blue a couple months later for my birthday. I couldn't stop playing!

As far as Rockman in-general, I remember first playing Megaman 2 at a friends house when I was 1 or 12 years old (That's back in 1993, kids). I was hooked immediately. I demanded that I get Megaman 3 for my birthday, and to my great joy I did. To this day, Megaman 2 and 3 are my favorite Classis Series games, and high on my list of favorite Megaman games period.

Since I was really hardcore into the series now, any new series that came along automatically had me looking to try it out. If it was Megaman, I wanted to play it. So when the EXE/Battle Network series came out, I had to go buy myself a GBA to play it. I really enjoyed it, for the mix of RPG, action, and CCG-like folder construction.

I'd seen the original NT Warrior like once on TV, but didn't get it. Then a friend let me play his BN3 White and I was hooked. I bought BN3 Blue that same weekend and the rest is history.

On a side note, BN1 just annoys me now because I'm used to the newer stuff.

Well, my first game was the classic series Megaman 3. Think I got it right about when it came out, so that'd be 1990-91. Never played 1 or 2 before hand. Like Pyo, though, I did play MM2 at a friends house for the first time. It just wasn't the first MM game I played.

I think the reason why was reading about it in Nintendo Power and I got it as a Christmas gift. Of course, I was into the coolness of the various characters and got every NES game that came out after. Since I still had a Nintendo Power subscription in the early SNES days, I followed whatever news I read of new Megaman games, whether it was the X series or eventually 7. And of course, I had to watch the cartoon Sunday mornings before church, whenever it was on.

Since then, I just always stayed a fan. I wasn't too sure about Battle Network at first, and didn't get ahold of a game until BN2 came out. But I didn't play it until I could find BN1 at a Gamestop. I liked the redesigns of the characters enough that I continued playing and playing.

I was a little boy when I played Megaman 2 on Nintendo, it became my addicted game, but always didn't get farther than the fourth stage in Wily's bases. Some years later, I was visiting a store when they featured a test play on Super Nintendo and that was when I found out it was Megaman X3. I was very fascinated by it, and realized that the Megaman series were still continuing. I still forgot about and didn't search for further info about it until after several months or a year later. They led me into downloading Megaman music videos and I kept doing it until I found Rockman.exe in one of them. And vice versa, I found this place! Surprised

That brings back memories to me.I came to know megaman when i was a little child,I even think that it was just before going to school. My brother and I would go rent games and we would play it as many time as we could. They had only 2 megaman games on the SNES and I would mostly watch as my brother played them.In the morning when we would wake up at 6:30 we would sneak to the basement and play while just a meter or 2 away my sister was sleeping. Then megaman did die down a bit and it came back up 4 years ago when i was doing 8 bit drawings and i truly came back as a fan when my brother bought mmbn 1 cause of that now I have the whole seires of mmbn

I saw a little bit of the older games at various camps but didn't get an opportunity to try the games until the X series, which makes it hard for me to get the hang of the older games (I'm spoiled with Charge Shot and Dashing! XD). However I didn't actually own any of the games until the EXE series having to borrow the SNES and MMX for it, and then the PSX X games beforehand. So, EXE holds a place in my heart because of that as well. Besides, the EXE games are just so much fun! :D

Good stuff!

I recall watching the original cartoon at some time in the past. Surprisingly, though, that did not affect my entrance into the fandom. My trigger happened to be about...five years ago, when my uncle had bought us new GBAs, and one of the games in his basic set was EXE1. I was a bit hesitant to play the games at first, but I picked it up eventually, and I haven't looked back since.

My story for this is a bit long- it started out on the way to my Grandmother's house- before this, i didn't really watch too much anime, and i didn't like the axcess commercials at first. But then, i was only a little intruiged and curious to see what exactly it was about. My brother was muttering the word "axcess" under his breath, i caught him and then asked him "do you think that would be a good show to watch?" For many days, i never bothered to turn on the tv, until finally, i gave in. I volunteered to watch it for my brother, because he was not home at the time which it was on. And so i watched it, and really liked it ^^. My first season was megaman nt warrior axcess Smile

Mine's a bit emberassing >_>;

I was in second grade and had my brand-spankin' new Nintendo. I had about 1 game for it, and was surprised when my Uncle Art got me Mega Man 2 for Christmas. I'd never even heard of it. It was months before I played it, but when I did, I developed my first video game character crush. That and I really enjoyed it.

It wasn't until around '95 when I played MMX and saw my first fan-fiction for the game that I started getting into it. I relised suddenly that other people were fans and did stuff for the series, so I started to as well!

Gawsh....re-reading that sounds so pathetic now >_>; BTW: It was Crash Man. I loved explosives as a child ;)

I remember seeing a friend, back in high school (it doesn't seem like a long time ago, now..) playing EXE3. It took me a little while to get intrigued by the game, but eventually I started playing, and got hooked ever since.
