Anime Weight Gain

As you have seen there have been several weight gain sceens during the serie. The ones I have cought have been in episode 31 in season 2 (A Splendid Curry Battle), episode 54 in season 2 (Chisao comes to Town), and episode 12 in stream (Jawaii Curry and Tomahawk). Does somebody know of another sceen.

To answer your question, no, I can't think of any other occasions where characters became bloated from eating too much. Maybe in Beast 16 when Netto and Kojirou have a curry-eating competition, but I don't remember if anyone puffed up specifically.

My only possible explanation is not something you want to know about. I saw it on a small clip of weird websites once on tv.

Well, he could be asking about it for any other reason, found them funny and wanted to see where else he puffs up or is making a website about characters that misteriously gain a few tons of weight in a few seconds.

But ultimately, what was asked in this post was answered already I suggest to drop the topic for now. I'll lock it if I see its needed.

Well to answer this question, I am doing a school project in which I show how in some poular cartoons, the characters have "fat" sceens but one second later they are tin, and how this can affect little children. So please dont lock this forum, its very important for my research, and dont stop posting.

You want to research how anime characters get fat and the next scene are back to their normal self again and how that effects children... okay. I think it might give them the impression that they can eat as much as they want because when you're fat it doesn't take long for you to get back to being normal.

However fat kids will, I think anyway, spot that very fast and think "hey, that's not right. I want that too! If Netto can do it, why can't I?" and get all (or even more) depressed.

Well... I have absolutely no psychology knowledge so I have no idea if what I said is any good Oo.

What I think you should do is encompass more different examples, like for example someone getting hit on the head and getting a huge bump (and probably a bandage or something) and then in the next scene he's fine. Well just more of the transitions to cartoon/anime characters being fine all of a sudden... More examples that come to mind...

Frozen > Normal
Burned/scorched > Normal
Dead (as a skeleton or something) > Normal
Broken to pieces > Normal

Also I think this would have something to do with the immortality of most toons, because actual deaths would shock young viewers (however deaths in toons/anime that are for children a little older shouldn't be all THAT censored as they do nowadays :S My god even Elmer Fudd points guns at Bugs Bunny AND shoots and that's not censored :S).

If you want pictures, you'll just have to browse by yourself all through the screen cap section of REO, I personally haven't kept track of how many times he gets fat.
