Hmmm... one wonders why they don't release them all as TV version since we don't get any real new tracks now... Oh well, I guess there just ISN'T any full versions of those songs, but I guess we could be glad we're getting them at CD quality :D A bit saddened, but it's not the end of the world Smile

(Also in the second link it still says "Beast+" in the description O__o;; what the hell on that CD is from Beast+? Every track seems to be from all the other series... I mean the last two tracks are the two bonus tracks right? :S)

I think it's just saying the music comes from those series. Of course we know there wasn't much (if any, the OP was it I think) new music in Beast+, but it looks good if they add that in.

Not surprised at all honestly. It still sucks though that everything is practically TV size.

WTF. Why get fans hopes up when all we're gonna get are TV edits?

Well, I can't say for sure, but when the TV-sized tracks were probably mostly IGAO arranged tracks, they probably didn't make versions any longer than we're getting. I assume we won't really know that until we get to see liner notes, but I'd assume that's why. I especially wouldn't have expected the Netto and Rockman ones or Install Your Heart to be any longer than they were anyways. And if Heart Wave has a full version, it's probably being saved for a future Misora CD or something. I'd be more disappointed if they skimped on the bg tracks in the future than I am with the one's here that are TV-sized.

And Nenji, I can think of at least 3 other "new" Beast+ bg songs, might have been a remix or two as well. Besides the OP, of course. Yeah, still nothing much, and the CD obviously wouldn't use any of them, but there was more than the OP remix.

Three? First and only one that comes to mind is the theme where (Beast+ final episode spoiler)Trill comes in the 26th episode ...
Did Zero have a personal theme...?

Well, there's one at the end of Ep. 23, where (random not really spoilers ahead) Laika is talking about Jammingman to the team. There's the sad guitar theme, a snippet of it starts Ep. 19. Might also be considered a "Zero theme." In Ep. 17, I think it might be a remix or new theme when Dekao gets his birthday surprise dessert.. There's a slight remix later in that eppy in a scene between Zero, Guts and Rock. That's a few I can pick out for you quick. There probably aren't many more than those, but if you listen carefully, there might be a remix thrown in elsewhere.

Oh, and that Ep. 26 part you mentioned, I believe is just Slur's theme from Stream. I don't think that was remixed, plus it was also used earlier in Ep. 16 for sure.

Aah, quite possible, I haven't seen a lot of Stream. I forgot all about that Gustman, Zero, Rockman scene! :D Yeah of course!
Oh yeah I have one more question. Every time I watch Beast+ there's like a stutter thingie in the opening which sounds... well like a stutter thing related to the video O__o;; but I have a rather fast computer now and it's still there and also on youtube... it just sounds... wrong. Can anyone shed some light on this?

That theme originated from Beast.

What?! It did? No way! I know for sure it wasn't in any of the episodes of Beast I edited. Now it's gonna bother me and I'm gonna have to go through all the episodes to find out when the heck it was played. Neutral Hmm...Doutarou/Press episode maybe...? I swear that was Plus only, and even then, it only got a few plays in the second half of the season. If I'm wrong, then my bad.

EDIT: Crud. Sad I bow to your memory, Seiko. The ONE time I found it was used in Beast was Ep. 18, like my hunch was. The scene where Enzan is told about the miners in a flashback. Since the guitar rhythm is similar, the only other "possibility" was in Ep. 16 with Phakachi's boat sinking flashback. But I believe there are too many differences in that (harmonica, the piano sounds off), to be the same. Could be an extended part of the song or a slight remix, but I'm not totally sure. So I admit to my failure at picking out new BGM's.

Another source, famitsu, marks only Piece of Peace as a TV edit. They have a higher resolution picture of the cover avaible in the site.

I woudln't count the TV sizes as confirmed or refuted just yet, as what information's avaible is contradictory. At least Famitsu's site posseses a copy of the cover art. Unlike Sony's.

The preview seems to have the artwork of the gift card of the first print sporting a certain... bifid lady.

Good find Planty :D (hope I can call you that XD). Tho I'm still sceptical about the TV-version stuff. Sony did put "TV-version" at exactly those tracks that haven't been released as full version yet and that Famitsu doesn't can just as well be a mistake while it's more unlikely for Sony to put "TV-edit" at exactly those tracks that don't have a full version yet Oo. I remain sceptical :D

e-Capcom also lists TV-edits for the same tracks as Sony did (well, almost; they claim "Install Your Heart" is full-length while Sony doesn't).

However, considering Sony is actually producing the album, they're probably more legit a source than Famitsu, regardless that they don't have a cover scan on their page. (I can recall many times when cover scans for the NT Warrior DVDs and mangas would float around for months before Viz themselves would even put up order pages for the products.)

But there's too many conflicting reports to know for sure. I say we just wait for the album to release.

That's why I said we cannot confirm one or another yet. All information avaible is contradictory at this point and chances are it'll remain that way until the CD is finally shipped.

Edit: Also, the price it's being sold at sounds fairly expensive for just 5 full lenght songs if I say so myself. <.<;a

Try $35 for a mini-album with only one new song and five old tracks. That's what Avex will do for money...and quite often too. (And Avex is far more notorious than Sony when it comes to draining the wallets of the loving fanbase.)

Just to add to the controversy, the Capcom Rockman Series website also lists only Piece of Peace as being TV sized.

As I said, we won't know for sure now until the CD is released. So, at least another week and some days to find out.

Because I'm lazy, I'll just copy and paste my report from Atomic-Fire.

The Rockman EXE Vocal Album has officially released in Japan, and thanks to the reports of everyone's favorite Japanese blogger Gyroman-Black, we can now confirm that, sadly, nearly all of the songs on the vocal album are in their original minute-long TV-Sized formats.

(This includes Piece of Peace, Futatsu no Mirai, Hikari Todoku Basho (both Axess and Stream versions), and Heart Wave from Ryusei no Rockman.) The only song released in a full-length format that was not previously already released on a different album is Install Your Heart, the song Aki sang in the original 56-episode EXE series.

It's a shame, really, but it can't be helped. Let's cross our fingers that if another (more complete) anime BGM soundtrack were to ever be released, it won't be as half-assed as this album.
