i just happened to be in downtown Boston's Barnes and Noble's yesterday and of course i checked for a new MMBN manga ... and there was number 11! two of them at that! i didn't know the manga series ended at 13 ... that would explain why everything seems rushed. hmm, i like the extra stories they put at the end, keeps it interesting. the Link PET's arm strap had a little pad that is in sync with Rockman's heart, i thought that was pretty cool. viz IS a big company that translates a lot of manga but im glad they got to finish another MMBN one! _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

i got the volume at barnes and nobel as well, but not that one.
It already came out, it was really good from what i've read so far (chs1 and 2)
As for the extra chapters, they are included in this version. _________________

Dont buy at Borders too much . I hear they don't have as many manga as Barnes and Nobles. I checked and found that out myself a few days ago. Oh, and I'm not saying that you shouldn't buy at Borders. I'm saying that you could go to both, but Barnes & Nobles is highly suggested. |

That's true. Also, i'm pretty sure that Barnes and Nobel stocked volume 11 first, for i pre-ordered it form borders, and never got it yet. So, i went to barnes and nobel. _________________

I checked out the Barnes and Noble in downtown Boston yesterday, and gave vol 11 a glance over. It was okay, but I still think the manga was better before Hub Style came along.
I was a bit disappointed by The Legendary Beserker though. Just another deus ex machina... I did find it cute though that Lan was wearing a different vest in the last panel though. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

That's because he's four years older now, or at least that's what's said in the original version. He can't stay the same forever... _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

I knew that, I just thought that it was an interesting choice, since everyone else in that panel has on their normal attire, at least, from what I could see.
It did say in the beginning that was four years later, and I think Colonel and Megaman said that too... Yeah, they did. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

I really liked Vol 11. I picked it up at The Daily Planet, because Borders don't even have it in their catalogues. And there's no Barnes and Noble in Brisbane. (Is it exculsively in the US?)
Got a pretty good price for it too at AU$15.95. I liked it alot, though it definately has a rushed feel now. But meh, what can you do?
I'm really looking forward to Vol 12, but I understand it won't be out for a while. I probably start to get impatient come October. ^^; _________________ "There is no coincidence, only Hitsuzen" Yuko, xxxHolic

No no, you misunderstand me...
I have NO Idea when it's gonna be released in English, so I was making a bit of a joke about it coming out AGES from now. I always seem to be waiting for release dates to finally come around... when they're announced that is. And I really don't see how this is gonna be any different. Not that I mind waiting... not like I've got a choice here. :D
Sorry for any confusion. _________________ "There is no coincidence, only Hitsuzen" Yuko, xxxHolic

If you take a look back on page 1 of this topic, a member told us that it is stated to be released on July 3. _________________

As far as I know, no, there are no scanlation groups for EXE.
But so what? Just buy the English mangas. They're practically done with the series by now, and their localization is a lot more faithful than most English versions of Rockman, disregarding name changes. Plus, each volume is less than 10 dollars. (I think their MSRP is only 7.99.) Just go buy them.
EDIT - Whoops, nevermind. I was reading the last post on page 1 and thought it was the newest post. Eh... disregard. ^_^;; _________________

I liked it a lot, but I agree, it did seem rushed. This was pretty clear in the Bass Cross Rockman and Beast out fight, when each time, the fight was over in about six or seven pages.
The Devil virus fight was a bit... I dunno, unnesecary?
I mean, when I say it was rushed, let's take my favorite of the series into account: volume seven. It took the ENTIRE ISSUE just to get done fighting with Bass. He gets wasted in the new volume in no time at all.Cool! I finally found out how to use the censor boxes! _________________

That's why it's called a gaiden/anecdote/side-story. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

I hope that's true, it sounds plausible. I'm not very patient when it comes to manga releases.
Volume 11 was very good in my opinion, but the world almost ended twice from what i've read in it. Overall, it was quite suspensful even though the fights did not last as long as i would've liked. _________________
