Yeah, but it was probably someone from a forum because the links are only given out there... right? And who would do that?
Ryusei no Rockman 26 HQ http://www.mediafire.com/?9moymnmw22y (from Darkside Raws)
Remember that all the episodes are here http://hikari_boi.livejournal.com for Ryusei, and I'm working on getting the HQ episodes, I have to get more recently released ones 17-25 but I should be all set... |

I don't entirely understand what you mean by the first sentence. If that wasn't directed at me, sorry.

Thank you very much for for the HQversion Digi148!

If you haven't realized yet, guys, someone's posting RnR 26 on youtube. This is only a remark, nothing else. If I am doing something ridiculous by posting here and saying this, then tell me. |

JH24, I didn't mean what I said to be directed at anyone, it's just that since Numbergirl only gave us the links to her Youtube videos, then no one else would have been able to have reported her videos other than someone from this site unless they were posted elsewhere. I don't know, I'm just making a statement.
I was thinking about putting the episodes on Youtube, but I'm not sure if I should or not. What if the same thing happens. |

There IS ONE CONDITION, though. You must only post old episodes to prevent banning. Otherwise, you will get caught for violation of law in youtube. Abayo! |

So getting caught only ended up making me stop one episode early. _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |

NOOOO!!!
Man this whole YouTube thing stinks like nothing else. They've become real losers ever since they merged with Google. It's not just Numbergirl, it's everywhere, and it's getting annoying.
I swear, sometimes the Copyright laws can be a real pain...

Copyright laws protect everyone, if you were free to copy anyone's work it would be utter anarchy. The enforcement of the laws may be overzealous at times, but the laws themselves are justified.
Ah well, back to find torrent and LQ downloads it seems. _________________

*sigh* I know the Copyright enforcement laws are there for everyone and serve the geater good and I am grateful to them. But sometimes... _________________

There's a whole bunch of video hosting sites out there. It's just a matter of whether someone has posted the episodes or not.
Here are a few places you can check out:
Dailymotion
Vidilife
Putfile

For all complaining about not being able to get their free anime fix.
As much as it pains me to say it, watching anime on the internet is wrong. We shouldn't steal episodes from the people who make them. How else will they earn their livings and feed their families?
I'm pretty sure if you look around, you can find a way to pay for a channel that you can watch these episodes on. I'm sure it doesn't even cost that much. Please correct me if I'm wrong. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Well, as much as in theory you are right that we should support the creators, when do you ever pay anything to go towards any single television show? Even cable bills don't go towards funding a cast on any show or anything like that. It's all paid through advertising and sponsorships.
Personally, I feel that anything that airs on basic TV should be able to get around copyright laws, as long as no profit is being made off of the show by another party. You don't pay to watch anything on basic TV anyway. Your power bill doesn't count. That money doesn't go to any studio. Granted, I have no clue if the majority of anime is on basic Japanese television. The problem is no legistators ever really get together and discuss these issues and the courts just base everything off of precidents, so progress on laws regarding new technology rarely happens. And corporations are the ones who get the say about whether it's allowable, rarely do you hear from the artists/creators.
Educators have been fighting for changes to copyright laws too, because technically here in the states, it's illegal for, say, a clip from Friends to be posted only for students in a college psychology course, because it's being viewed by too many people to be considered "personal use." The problem is recording devices have been legal for so long. Either they're gonna need to be modified in some way or, perhaps, it could go in the other direction and they could be deemed illegal all together. But then you're putting more people out of work than you ever would by watching recording online. It's a messy situation and nobody really has any answer. Or is working towards one I bet... :/
But finding a channel to see Japanese TV right or near to when it airs? Maybe if you have an expensive satelite package. But even then, it's probably just one channel and it wouldn't necessarily be the one that airs certain anime shows. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Google is just too frightened of being sued. On its own, YouTube wasn't a large enough company to be worth a huge court battle, and so there was no need to strictly enforce copyright laws. Now that a much larger company with much more to lose is in charge, any lawsuits by the MPAA for example would easily cause the loss of millions or billions of dollars.
I really don't see what the problem is though. Just wait an extra week or so for the HQ to come out or plead for NumberGirl to upload the recorded file somewhere if you want to watch the show that badly. |

I'll wait for the HQ's.
Anyway, may I request a WMV or MP4 of Stream 32? _________________

It might no longer be possible to download episodes through Megaupload. All of the links I can find say the episodes are in violation of their terms of service. And these are fairly new links, not deleted because their time duration was up...
Has anyone else seen this? |
