This really is a hard debate to begin with. While they are both fighting games, they've just have so much dfferences that stand out for each respective game. However, if I must make a decision, I would go for SSBM - simply for its ability to have 4 players while SC can't. It brings up the crowd and is more enjoyable with more participants - unlike the regular 1 vs 1. 4-players allow more variety and more strategy - unlike just setting out to kill that one opponent. (I have only play Soul Calibur II, so my opinions maybe a bit biased.) _________________
