Gemini - nobody knows what he's up to.
Harp - as Harp Note acts like she's on Warrock's side most of the time

Although I'm a little so-so on Shingo Adachi's style when it comes to Amachi (his face is a little too rounded in my opinion, makes him look boyish but this is just personal taste) he did a fantastic job conveying the emotions in that encounter atop the roof.
Plus, Ox trying to Denpa henkan with the good inspector had some hilarious results. _________________

I was oh so very tempted to say that, but I've used the reference a bit much lately and decided to leave it to someone else. [:D _________________

Wow, the ending was very well done. In terms of animation, emotional impact, voice-acting, just very well done IMO.
It is interesting to see the division between the FM's, especially regarding what Gemini might be planning.
I wanted to take a break from the series so I could focus more on the subs because I still feel I know too little of the series and characters but after seeing the past two episodes, I am not so sure anymore. _________________ This great avatar is made by Synchro-kun. Thank you! |

Poor Warrock....*sniffles*
Why are you so mean to poor warrock, Subaru-sama! Shame on you!
*whacks Subaru*
Man I feel really sorry for Warrock. If he did this, he probably didn't mean it. He probably just wanted to be friends with Subaru. Darn it, Cyngus! You had to say something you jerk!

But here's the thing: Cygnus was telling the truth. He may have been exaggerating it or blowing it out of proportion to get Subaru to lower his guard, but it was true. WarRock himself confirmed it.
In that respect, Subaru has every right to be angry at WarRock. _________________

Due to what Subaru did in that episode I hate him even more, he trusts an evil swan *** over his own partner that saved his life more then once.
And well, *removed the wrong info to prevent confusion*

What Subaru did is absolutely understandable.
What would you do if someone you've spent a relatively short time with turned out to be your father's murderer, or at least acknowledged that he commanded an assault that presumably led to your father's death?
It's not just a matter of trusting Cygnus. Subaru went and flat-out asked WarRock WTF went down on that station. _________________ *placeholder* |

I had never expected that the series would take this direction regarding the storyline. When re-watching this episode I started to feel sympathy for Warrock as well. He definitely shows that he cares about Subaru as he warned Amachi about the boy's situation. When Subaru started yelling at him at the end I felt really sorry for both of them.
I am still wondering why Warrock couldn't tell Subaru about what really happened. Why did he remain silent when Subaru asked him again what exactly took place on the space station? If Subaru's father was still alive, what kind of motive would Warrock have not to talk about it? Or maybe Warrock has made some kind of promise to Subaru's dad. I have difficulty believing that Daigo would really be dead. I better stop speculating, the possibilities are endless.
Why did Warrock end the conversation? Was it because he noticed that Amachi was listening to their conversation? _________________ This great avatar is made by Synchro-kun. Thank you! |

Whether or not that was the case, it wasn't clear. _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |

I wanted to thank you for the translation of the final scene, Numbergirl. After I watched the episode again your translation made the emotional impact even bigger for me.
I start to get the feeling that Warrock might have ended the conversation because he felt Amachi was nearby. As you said it wasn't clear but Warrock was in the middle of the sentence when he stopped.
It makes me wonder if he would have told the truth if Amachi hadn't shown up in time. Subaru's reaction was so emotional, he was torn between anger and sadness because of the 'betrayal' of his close friend and that he now believes his father is probably really dead.
The music gave the whole scene even more impact. It is a long time ago that a Ryusei episode impressed me as much as this one. I like this eppie even more then the one with the battle before. _________________ This great avatar is made by Synchro-kun. Thank you! |

Personally, I feel that WarRock ended the conversation because Subaru couldn't take much more. Subaru it seemed was already emotionally traumatized, and WarRock didn't want to hurt Subaru any further.
But that's just my opinion. WarRock didn't seem to give any indication that he knew Amachi was there. _________________

Ummmmmm, no he didn't...
I thought I already explained this... in order to save Daigo from the attack, whom he had become friends with, Daigo begged War-Rock to convert him and his crew into pure Denpa. War Rock had a great deal of trouble with this as he felt that if he did such a thing, Daigo would not be able to change back, or worse...he could kill Daigo. At least that's what happens in the game. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

Still, what AFG said will probably be the explanation they'll use when Ryuusei gets dubbed. _________________

I think it's more prudent to wait until the dub debuts before making comments like that. It's still very unlikely that Daigo's dead. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'
