In the wake of Shakai-gate (EDIT: Yes, Shakai, it's just a playful jab. Like eating Miyabi brainz was. You should know by now I'm not a vengeful famous ninja!), I won't bother with a summary, as I'm sure there are many plot heavy things to discuss this week. And I'm not the one to translate them. But I will say thumbs up to the drama and continuing plot unravelingness! So anybody else can give that a go, but I'll start this week off with 148 screencaps. I know there might be some groans about the panning this week, but actually they might be easier for me to piece together. So I might have some extra large caps edited here tomorrow. (So if you see some caps and wonder why I uploaded them, that explains why.)
EDIT: Thank you, Quick. Got a few pans pieced together tonight. Now remember, I'm no Photoshop expert, so I'm sure someone out there may be able to see areas that obviously make them look stitched. (Like the first one is 4 total caps, and the WORST to do) But I think I did a pretty good job, at least on making sure the bodies look clean. Touched up the contrast a bit, too. Some of the BGs were a pain with the motion lines, as they didn't totally line up or contain the same shades of color as they were moving. But I did my best. Enjoy, use as you see fit.

I'll try giving it a go, if you don't mind.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Things are not good. We open with a buch of Jet Hawks trashing some massive scaffolding. Subaru arrives and deletes them with a Thunderball, only to be ambushed by a group of those unicycle/demon viruses.
Title Screen: Satelite Miracle
One of those Gaia-esque viri, the ones with battleaxes, attack, causing the road to crumble and Subaru to fall in. But Warrock is on his way, and he flies in after, and Rockman is back! Subaru is still not very happy, but they've got work to do, namely, some virus busting. We also see a shot of each of the three satelites, with audio of a heart beating.
Subaru finishes this batch off, becomes physical again, and shoots off down the street, right past Luna and her cronies. Predictably, she begins to fangirl again.
Meanwhile, Misora is at her limit: her attacks aren't even scratching the viruses. After a pan shot of her being slashed, she falls off of the skyscraper, but is saved by Subaru. She faints, and the fusion breaks. It's just like crossfusion, but without the CGI. Harp fills Warrock in on what's going on, so it seems that she is on his side after all. Goyoda arrives, and Rockman leaves Misora with him. The other policemen start commenting on how cute she is, and Goyoda calls them morons. Heh, serves them right.
In the next scene, Warrock, I'm not sure on this, tells Subaru about how the FM King wants the Andromeda Key. I don't know if he says what it actually does, though.
Over to Utagai. He performs Denpa Henkan, and gets in Subaru's way. He (Subaru) tries to reach through Cygnus's power and appeal to Utagai, but Cygnus Wing just seems to be amused that Subaru is with Warrock after their last battle. Battle? This won't be a battle, this'll be an ambush! Wolf Forest, Libra Balance, Ox Fire, Ophiuchus Queen, and Crown Thunder has surrounded him! They tell him about their human free denpa henkan, and Cygnus Wing looks very crazed. Subaru predates a Break Sabre. Cancer Bubble is still watching the scientists.
Break Sabre is quickly destroyed, so Subaru tries to use a Gatling, but Ophiuchus Queen gets him with her snake attack. Cue a five way ownage on poor Subaru. (Stupid still shot... They could've at least done an explosion or something...) He falls off the Wave Road.
Here comes the calvary in the form of the Satelite Police, but they've quickly outmatched by the FMs. (Libra Balance does his A B thing here again.)
Subaru and Warrock have split, and are collapsed on the ground. Cygnus Wing steps on Warrock's head, and pins Suabru to the ground with Cygnus Feather. Warrock wants to save him, but Cygnus Wing has other plans, and explodes one of the feathers near Subaru's head.
Warrock's screams awaken Subaru, and he sees Cygnus Wing's hand plunged into his former companion's body. The satelites' heartbeats speed up. Computers overflow with light. Storm clouds cover the sky. Lightning strikes. And Cygnus Wing triumphantly holds aloft a purple crystal: the Andromeda Key!
But fate can be a fickle being. Out of the clouds come shadowy, immense beings, crackling with power. Everyone is stunned.
A stream of intense flame, a howling tempest, and an icy wind blows the FMs, save Cygnus Wing and possibly Cancer Bubble, away into the sky. One of them teleports Subaru away. Cygnus Wing retreats with Warrock, as do the other FMs, leaving Goyoda and the policemen staring in awe at Leo Kingdom, Pegesus Magic, and Dragon Sky.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Talk about one foreboding episode! It doesn't look like things are going to be alright, but with the Three Wise Men having revealed themselves, maybe Earth does have a chance. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

I could watch this episode fifty times over just to see that scene where Cygnus Wing manages to get WarRock to talk. To see how far WarRock has come from the begining of the show...the fear of Subaru getting hurt...sacrificing the key's whereabouts to protect Subaru...it was all very emotional.
Then...there was the key itself...
Or should I say KEYCHAIN. For all that fuss, the Andromeda Key looks like something I'd hang off my bookbag or off my car keys! And, I probably would because it's so irrisistably shiney. 8D~ _________________

Interesting. I wonder what the three have in store for our pair. The armor maybe? Sounds like a good episode. |

I wonder if you can attach that thing on a Keyblade.
Andromeda Key looked completely different in the game, too.
Anyway.... this episode's quality was kinda low IMO.... a LOT of standstills. D:
Are we getting budget cuts already? _________________ SPOILER:

All of the screencap thumbnails are linking to themselves. (So, instead of getting a larger view when clicking on the thumbnail, I just get a direct link to the thumbnail itself.) I've tried this on multiple computers and browsers with the same effect. _________________

Been brought up in the Bugs forum and my own art thread, Seiko. It's a glitchy thing of the new skin. You have to be viewing in the original blue one for thumbs to work properly. Annoying if you like the Beast Out skin, but it shouldn't be that hard to switch to click them and switch back when you're done. Non-members might have a terrible time, but it shouldn't be hard to get the link anyways. Just right click for properties, copy the link, delete the ".th" before '.jpg' and there you go. A little more work than single clicking, but still very easy. I wish I had a better place to dump them all for ya (would make uploading less of a pain, too), but for now, it's all I can do.
And DanSidney, while yes, pans might not be as gorgeous as great action shots, I wouldn't necessarily say it's due to budget cuts. Certain art directors might not be as comfortable producing so many frames like that. And it is a common cinematic technique, it could just be that the art director is in love with that style for his work. Personally, like the caps I merged, I kinda like the look of some of these pans. You don't want to overdo it, but they do serve some artistic purpose. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Shakai-gate? >>; That better be in the spirit of Zombie Shakai.
Anyway, I was tempted to just not bother, but this episode was really freakin' awesome. I gotta talk about it.
The whole scene where Misora was delivered to Inspector guy was funny cause all the cops were going all super otaku! ZOMGMISORACHANSOCUTE!:DDD
And then when Utagai was interrogating War Rock..that was just brilliant. I love how evil he looked. And then pulling the ...key thing from his body. EVIL.
And then the Sattelite guys appearing. That was a shocker.
Also, The Inspector guy saying "C! blah blah" to Libra was amusing XD _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

A very good episode IMHO. We have a lot of story development, very nice and intense scenes and very good animation. My favorite part has to be the scene between Cygnus and Warrock in the end. After this episode I really look different at Warrock now. It was really touching to see Warrock's concern for Subaru's safety. I felt sorry for him when he was in so much pain when Cygnus retrieved the Andromeda key. And then the Satellite beings arrive, the plot is really developing. I assume that Pegasus Magic teleported Subaru away? Cygnus Wing took Warrock with him, I wonder what is going to happen to him, it won't be very good I fear.
Another great episode, the only small complaint I have is the scene were all the FM's were beating Rockman. They could have used a little more movement but I don't really mind, the fight wasn't meant to be the focus of this episode. I used my imagination to fill in the gaps of that fight.
The last episodes have considerably improved my faith in the series again. I hope the next episodes will keep this up. _________________ This great avatar is made by Synchro-kun. Thank you! |

This arc is indeed turning into one heck of a plot-filled story :D I don't really understand why Warrock and Subaru do Denpa Henkan again and why Subaru agrees to it :S After all he was pretty mad.
So we're finally getting Rockman's three different... soul/style things (not up to date with the Ryusei game). Gonna be interesting of course :D They should continue on with the story this way... just a continueing story :p that's what Rockman EXE lacked (until the end of Stream and Beast anyway). But I'm beginning to really like Ryusei, though I still can't shake the feeling that I'm watching a fake Rockman EXE... But that feeling is diminishing luckily :D _________________

Well, WarRock saved Subaru from a long fall and the "splat" at the end by going Denpa Henkan. (I hear those "splats" have ill-effects on ones health.)
As to why Subaru agreed to remain in that state is still a mystery to me. It may have something to do with situation at hand.
And the Satellite Supervisors (Pegasus, Leo, and Dragon) are called the Star Force (at least in the English version. Not sure if it's the same in this one.)

My guess is that War Rock quickly explained that he had nothing to do with Daigo's death and that the matter is a bit too complicated to really explain given the situation at hand, and Subaru decided to trust War Rock on his word.
On a side note, I totally loved Rockman's slow-motion tumble-and-shoot move. Kinda reminds me of the lobby scene from The Matrix. _________________ *placeholder* |

Actually, Subaru actually ask WarRock why he return. WarRock replied that its no time for that and ask him to fight. If he does, he promise to tell him about what happen to his father. |

No, Star Force is the name for the transformations. (aka
Fire Leo, Ice Pegasus, and Green Dragon.) It's the same for both the English and original versions. You can tell as all forms of battle cards are called as Card Force and in the game, "Star Force" is a special type of Card Force that activates the "Star Force transformations".
The AM Satellites should also retain that name (though I'm not sure about their individual names. I'm thinking that Dragon Sky may be changed to directly match the constellation, becoming Draco Sky.) _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)
