Truth be told, I don't know how I even got 80 screencaps this time. With so much recycled footage and mostly a lack of pannable frames. (Well, maybe I could do 3 or so this time). And poorer quality art, too. Some nice space shots! *Tries to look at some positive* Enjoy 'em, best you can.

Again, I'll leave the actual rundown to one of the regulars. Better that way, since I have no clue what Drillman is doing or if Birdman is really controlling him.

Meh. I think I'll give it a go.

Bad stuff like crazy is going down on the proverbial blue marble we know as Earth, now that Cygnus has the Andromeda Keychain.
Back at the place where they control the Satellites, Goryuda-keibu is being all mad and junk and taking it out on his officers and the control panel. And with good reason. The city's a wreck!
Amachi is standing in the middle of the city, looking at all the carnage and junk, and wonders where the heck Subaru is.
Let's find out!
Oh look! It's Satellite Pegasus! And there's Subaru, having a conniption because he's in the satellite, in the middle of space! Subaru is apparently not scared at all of the 3 Satellite beings cuz he's all a-yakin' to them. They take him into some weird space where the four of them can talk face to face.
Introducing Pegasus Magic, Leo Kingdom and Dragon Sky, the Satellite Supervisors
Subaru: "Thx 4 saving me. You guys are FMs?"
Satellite guys: "Nope. We is be AMs!"
Subaru: "AMs? Nowai! For reals!?"
Satellite guys: "Ttly. Them FMs blew up our planet."
Subaru: "That suxorz."
So, those three go on to say that Andromeda blew up their homeworld and now its heading for Earth. They get peeved for a brief second. They don't like FMs.
Anyway, back on Earth, the FMs are having a little meeting. I can only assume Ophichus is mildly concerned about Subaru escaping, but Cancer reassures everyone that Andromeda will come and blow up the Earth, so it really doesn't matter.
But...Cygnus has the friggen' key(chain). >>
Subaru is kinda bummed because WarRock is one of those FM miscreants. But the AM Satellites are cool with him and say something about friendship. *flashback of all the good times those two had together*
Subaru suddenly realizes: "OMG! WarRock is my friend!" And he demands to know where WarRock is.
Satellites are like: Don't worry. We'll help you find him.
Meanwhile...said WarRock is frying his brains out trying to escape from the little prison Cygnus stuck him in. Yeah, turns out having an arm shoved into his body and having a keychain being ripped out of him was't as lifethreatening as it looked.
So Cygnus rubs his victory in WarRock's face. Sorta like a "Nana boo-boo" thing but more evil. :/ So, now that he's done with that, he calls Andromeda.
And it appears and starts drilling into the ground, presumably heading for the Earth's core. In the meantime...
Run Humans! Run for you pathetic, miserable, worthless, carbon-based lives!!!
Cygnus vanishes to who knows where and WarRock's like...
"Crap."
Subaru comes out of that weird space to realize that even MORE bad stuff is going down on Earth. AM Satellites are like, "Yah, we know."
Subaru assures them that he can help if he can free WarRock.
But, the AMs suddenly have seizures! (Curse my ignorance of the Japanese language!)
They turn into Battle Cards as a final gift for Subaru, but as soon as he touches them, he's whisked away in pretty light.
WarRock's musing to himself again, when suddenly Subaru appears out of no where! WarRock must think he's going delusional!
And with good reason, since hallicinations don't talk, and neither does Subaru. He just waltzes right up to the cage and squeezes the electric bars until they break.
Emotional conversation!
WarRock is so touched by Subaru's coming to rescue him, he's on the verge of tears!
But Subuar's all: "We have no time for that! Denpa Henkan time!"
"Ah...right!"
Denpa Henkan!
Wait 'till next week for what happens next!

Please feel free to correct/fill in any holes in my woefully pitiful summary.

Interesting. So that's the three of them then. And I'm guessing that other thing is the big boss of the games. The next episode should be very good.

Someone different did the art this time, didn't they....

Well, lemme go over it...Ophicius Queen had some pretty smexy shots in this ep =D~ And Cancer Bubble was amusing as ever!!!!!

There were three major times that the art in this ep irked me. There was one shot of Subaru confident and I'm like "Where'd he get that manly chin from? O_o;" and there was .....well...what was with all the close-ups on Cygnus Wing's crotch? that's something I didn't want...or need to see D:

And he's holding up the Andromeda key(chain) like Link holds up a new treasure! DA DA DA DAAAAA!!!!!

....But screw Subaru and his "I JUST GOT THE THREE BESTEST CHIPS IN THE WORLD, LET'S DENPA HENKAN!", there's Ophicius Queen--ness!!!!!

...>_> <_<....None for you! *runs off with Ophicius Queen Screencaps*

Oh yeah, Andromeda looks so weird @_@ I thought the first 'form' of him where he's all "Rawr, I'm dream virus!" was pretty cool, but then.."FACE!", wtf D: No all monsters need bland faces....I was happy with teh clawwww!

Something tells me that Andromeda is by far not the largest threat in this series. We still haven't seen a single Jamminger, and Gemini is still lingering in the background. Perhaps we'll se Gemini raise a Jamminger army?

Andromeda as a drill? Good to decimate the planet, but why did it appear in the shape of a fist? Is there any other relevance, aside from the name of the Andromeda galaxy, to the constellations? Aside from that, the episode finally introduces the three AM seijins! They look very detailed up close, but what happened to them at the end of the conversation between them and Subaru?

Because... Andromeda, as a final boss, has two forms. The first form is that clawed, squirmy, face-like thing; his second mode is the more humanoid form. <--- Totally insignificant game spoiler that should surprise no one who has played a Mega Man game.

Andromeda is related to the constellation, because if I'm not wrong... At the end of the game, they overlay each boss with it's corresponding constellation. Andromeda was displayed along with the constellation. <--- Almost as insignificant game spoiler.

I haven't seen this episode yet, but it looks interesting in plot development. I get the feeling that Subaru and WarRock might have finally come to terms with each other- but that doesn't change the fact that WarRock has a ton of explaining to do...

Although the animation was not really great, (it reminded me of episode 17 or 22, only those were much more detailed) I definitely enjoyed this episode. I don't know how Subaru was able to break the energy bars of Warrock's prison and why Warrock couldn't but it did end in a nice scene which could have lasted a bit longer IMO.

Nice episode, but not really special. I look forward to the next one. As for Andromeda, I can't say I like the design but I probably get used to it. I didn't like Warrock's design in the beginning either.

One thing that's confounded me for a while: Why couldn't WarRock just destroy the Andromeda Key? Better yet, why not simply activate Andromeda upon the FM planet and then direct Andromeda into a situation that would destroy it?

(That of course, is in reference to the anime. Dunno if the games explain it or not, but Cygnus certainly didn't seem to have much toruble activating Andromeda on Earth in the anime.)

Shakai, why didn't I think of that? Actually, why did you have to give me any ideas? Now I'm gonna have to make you waste 40 seconds of your life downloading this and another 28 seconds to watch it.

Cygnus Link Megaupload link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=I2L728T9

And if stupid Windows Movie Maker didn't automatically close itself whenever I tried to add subtitles or proper transitions, it might have been slightly more amusing.

This is so stupid... Rolling Eyes All in good humor, hopefully not considered that spamtastic. If so, apologies.

And here's the few pans I could stitch, even though they aren't so great this week:

The art director was Akira Takahashi, whom we haven't seen since 22. While the art doesn't appear to be his/her greatest work, for me it's a welcome change from the roundish, kiddy, chunky style of Nomoto.

And while Andromeda is supposed to reference the constellation, I think the galaxy would've been more appropriate, since A, that thing looks nothing like a chained maiden, and B, doesn't a galaxy convey a greater sense of power? It does strongly resemble a mecha version of jumbo Cache. Hey! Another Frieza comparison!

So, I wonder when we'll see the FM King. It shouldn't be too long from now.

Well, don't get your hopes up. He probably won't reveal himself, yet. Maybe in the next installment, but not now. Revealing the FM king now would ruin the suspense anyways. There could be more villains in the future episodes, but I think they'll save him for last. For all we know, he might be even more powerful than the others, and even the Star Force cards won't help. This, though, is just a hypothesis.

Sorry, but I find that very unlikely.

Game spoilers! The anime has already shown all of the villians save the FM King. He is an FM Seijin and actually to be saved by Subaru from Andromeda after its defeat. While yes, it's obvious he will be the last of the FMs to appear, I doubt he'll be in the next installment unless he has a role in the second game.[/i]

I agree with Comic X6 that Andromeda is more a reference to the galaxy. That swirly thing on it's stomach looks like a galaxy-esque thing anyway.

Am I the only one who thought that the scene where Subaru randomly appears before WarRock, wordlessly approaches the cage, miraculously breaks it after two seconds and then collapses was a little anti-climatic? It just seemed so bland. =/

After I watched this episode and this scene several times, I am starting to agree with you. Although I still like the scene because it symbolizes for me the strength and power of their friendship, it was rather strange to see Subaru breaking those bars (Unless it has a different and less damaging effect on humans. But how could he have known that? Unless the satellite supervisors gave him that information while he was teleported to Warrock) but more, the scene felt very rushed. I would have loved to see a longer scene showing Subaru and Warrock come back together again. In short, I guess I was expecting quite much of this scene and although I loved Warrock's emotional reaction (as well as his surprise when Subaru immediately wanted to Denpa Henkan), a longer drawn-out scene would have been much better IMO.

I admit that in the end, it was indeed a bit anti-climactic.

-----

This leaves me with a question of my own, has it yet been revealed if Warrock truly killed Subaru's father? Does this episode mean that Subaru has forgiven him in case it would be true that Warrock was indeed his father's murderer? Or is Subaru convinced now that what Cygnus told them was a lie? I am curious if there was any hint about this in the episode.

About the bars, Cygnus Wing said that radio wave beings won't be able to break them.
As Subaru isn't radio waves, well, you get the picture. Razz
What made me think, though, is how Subaru came to know that.
Or, if he really didn't know about it but decided to try anyway, well, it was a little too "short" compared to how he threw WarRock out.
I guess directors make all the difference, after all.

Still...the intention was that Andromeda was to reference the constellation. This is proven in the game credits.

Oh yeah, about Gemini Spark... (spoilers for episode 31)his motives are somewhat shown in yesterday's episode...He wants to torment people as a revenge of sorts for his troubled childhood...but he doesn't want to see Earth destroyed and steals the key from Cygnus Wing before having it stolen from himself by Rockman Fire Leo.

As for War Rock...despite his name and his class as a warrior, he wants peace, hence why he's trying to protect planet Earth. Destroying the FM Planet would completely go against his ideals. He supports Daigo's hope for peaceful relations between Earth and the FM Star System.

The proper name for the three Card Force that the AM Satellites gave is "Star Force" so let's use that term to refer to them....mkay.

It all makes sense now. Still a bit rushed and spontaneous, but hey. At least it makes sense. Hooray for logic!

Even if it does reinforce the plot-hole that has plagued this series. FMs have their own realm and humans have their own realm, and outside of Depna Henkin (hey, I remembered it!) never the two should meet.

How Subaru was able to manipulate radio waves he's not supposed to be able to touch or even see without the Visualizer still remains the plot-hole of legend...

I just saw the ep, most of the art wasn't THAT bad; it was just off in some points. Subaru's chin being the most prominent one. Likewise I felt that this episode's plot was rushed (they should have spent at least another episode on it). But I suppose that they had their reasons for picking up speed here.
