I posted this in news too, but it's been a while and I haven't gotten responses so I thought it's probably a bit in the wrong place :p I'm not advertising or requesting, I'm merely trying to contribute to the community :D Anyone can probably collect all these tracks etc, but I've done it for you :p

Hey everyone :D after the less than satisfying vocal collection... here's the:

Rockman EXE The Slightly More Satisfactory Vocal Album V1.1!! Smile
This is NOT an official release, this is what I think should at least have been the Vocal Album (and of course more, but if we had that I didn't have to make a better version :S). This is also not a replacement for the original, the original is the one you should buy! Also I'm of course not making any profit with this, it's just somewhat of a collection CD thingie I liked to make Smile

Here's the tracklist:

01. Jin Hashimoto - Rockman EXE no Thema ~Kaze wo Tsukinukete~ 4:36
01a. Jin Hashimoto - Rockman EXE no Thema ~Kaze wo Tsukinukete~ (TV Size) 1:35
02. MIKA - Piece of Peace (TV Size) 1:37
03. Showtaro Morikubo - begin the TRY 3:26
03a. Showtaro Morikubo - begin the TRY (TV Size) 1:39
04. Michihiro Kuroda - Futatsu no Mirai 1:36
04a. Michihiro Kuroda - Futatsu no Mirai (Version 2 - Effects) 1:42
05. Netto Hikari & Rockman - Hikari Todoku Basho 1:40
06. Buzy - Be Somewhere 5:00
06a. Buzy - Be Somewhere (TV Size) 1:38
07. babamania - Doobee Doowop Communication 3:56
07a. babamania - Doobee Doowop Communication (TV Size) 1:41
08. Netto Hikari & Rockman - Hikari Todoku Basho ~ Yuujou no Shirushi 1:40
09. Dandelion - Shouri no Uta 4:15
09a. Dandelion - Shouri no Uta (TV Size) 1:42
10. Clair - Ashiato 4:50
10a. Clair - Ashiato (TV Size) 1:39

Bonus Tracks:

11. Misora Hibiki - Heart Wave 1:02
12. AKI - Watashi no Heart wo Install 1:50
13. Jin Akatagawa (?) - Rockman EXE Movie - Cross Fusion Theme 3:04
14. Jin Akatagawa (?) - Rockman EXE Beast+ Opening 0:22
15. Netto Hikari & Rockman - Hikari Todoku Basho ~ Encore (Mix) 3:34
TOTAL: 54:04
(22 tracks in total)

It features a bunch more extra tracks, all the TV versions for example, with is good cause Be Somewhere and Ashiato's TV versions are especially different from their originals), the Movie theme (this is with Netto's voice however, but it's only in the beginnnig), Beast+'s theme, a special Hikari Todoku Basho mix by me :D (it might not be the best, but you'll like it).

However, it's not a complete project. First of all I have no idea if Beast+ has an ending theme on the DVDs, second I don't have the best quality versions of every track (all of them ARE very listenable), and third in my mixes of begin the TRY and Doobee Doowop Communication TV Version are two minute differences from their original TV versions. I hope that people who can help me send in the better versions (my mail is Dougurasu at gmail dot com) and I'll upload the new versions so other people can download it (I'll also still be looking for better versions).

I hope anyone is interested and that this isn't in violation of any of the rules O__O

Uh, you might want to take out the Hikari Todoku Basho mix before you get into major trouble.

I was listening to it earlier today, and something sounded really off. So, when I rechecked with Planty's own mix of Hikari Todoku Basho, and they sounded far, far too alike. I really think you just took her version and pasted over certain parts (most noticeably at 2:03) to make it seem more 'unique', mainly because the transitions and sound quality do not match up to the earlier parts of the song.

That doesn't work. Not only that, you will get into some serious trouble here for any sort of plagiarism.

Well, seriously, I did not copy from Planty's mix (and this is the truth). But on the other hand... you try and mix it. The thing that Planty and I did is practically unavoidable if you want to fuse both songs and indeed there's a part that sounds off, but that was also unavoidable because I wanted to put every part of each song in. If the music was slightly more like the chorus at that part it would've fitted, but yeah... it isn't.

Also sound quality differences...? Well seeing as I took both songs directly from Atomic Fire and then used cool edit pro to edit it... it's pretty much impossible that there's difference in sound quality unless it was either already on the CD or it happened when it was ripped from the CD, but I think you just heard wrong, to be honest :S

Actually I have to agree with Sol. I don't think the fault was from the files you've got but from the copy/pasting and then the encoding. It's something that often happens when you put together files that have been saved/edited over previously.

Sincerely where I have my doubts is on the fact your sequencing wasn't nearly as smooth in the other editions/songs you made, only in the first part of the Hikari Todoku Basho De the transition was smooth. And it wasn't unavoidable to have the same selection and transition to the T. You could have tried beginning with the Stream version and then paste the Axess one instead.

Well, if you did really make this remix, would you mind providing a screencap of your project timeline? It would help to clear things up. If you can't provide good proof soon, we'll have to ask you to remove the song or the whole link if possible due to suspicion on the parts of more than one moderator.

Okay, I totally understand your suspicions and here's a screenshot:
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/55362387/ (had to post it on Deviantart, I don't have a photobucket or something account)

But in all seriousness... how can you not use that part of both songs for a crossover (if you get my meaning)? If I can't use that, I might as well not mix it at ALL. And the part that sounds a little off... that's like I said, because the music is off, but if you sing it, it works fine (if you want to have every piece of the song in that was pretty much unavoidable I think :p).
I don't support plagiarism and I didn't do it, but I understand your suspicions. If you guys make the decision that I just get it out of the file I'll do so immediately.

After about a week of me constantly kicking BitComet, I've finally managed to download it! ^_^ And I have to say, I'm rather impressed. There was a noticible 'bump' (it's not the word I want, but I can't think of a better way to describe it) in the Hikari Todoku Basho Mix, as mentioned before. I couldn't edit sound clips half as good as that though, so yeah... ^^;

For a first version incomplete expanded album, you've done a wonderful job. Congrats!!

Yay thanks :D Do you have any pointers or maybe things you'd like to see (or rather hear)? Also stuff that surprised you or stuff that you liked especially? :D
Any tips or suggestions are welcome :D For a mix without the kind of weird transition later on in the music, download Planty's mix, which is probably somewhere in the news section, I believe.

Thanks for the tip! ^_^

I really liked hearing "Be Somewhere" in full. It was the first time for me, and I quite enjoyed it. I don't really have any suggestions for further tracks, but I thought that maybe you could include with your download a cover art of your own and the lyrics to the songs with translations for those who can't understand it.

Meh, I kind of like the art of the first album... not sure if I'm gonna make something myself (and if I do it'll probably be a mix of official art and home-made backgrounds, or something).

The full version was something that was already on the CD so it's not really new :p but it's a really good song indeed :D
