Ryuusei Ep. 01-30 Screencaps *9/30 - Question for you*

Guess it's my duty to finish what I started. So here's the deal. Uploading to Imageshack each week can be a little bit of a pain. In the time it takes me to do that, I probably could have a whole 'nother episode or two capped. And I'm not going to revive each talkback thread just to put caps up. So this thread will be devoted to any updates I have regarding the first 25 episodes.

Easiest thing for me to do is to zip up the folders and let you guys sort what you do or don't want yourself. After trying out Megaupload, it looks like I can use that really easy and fast. I apologize if you're in one of those countries that can't access the links, but for my sanity, it's my only option right now.

I'm gonna go backwards, so for this first batch I have caps from episodes 23-25. Each folder will have the episode title and total number of caps I took. Imageshack always cut off my filenames anyways, so you probably couldn't save them in a great order. These should work out better. And if I'm ever in the mood to put some pans together, it won't be until after I finish capping everything.

I don't know how long these links last, but I believe it's something like 20 days after the last download, so get them while you can. Let me know if there are any problems. First time doing this, but I think I did everything right.

Because a few of them were trickier to attempt. But I'll give it a go. 26 didn't have any pans to stitch. So the zipped batch of 130+ pans is delayed another day. But enjoy these 12, plus a bonus. If anyone makes an animated gif of Ep. 24 Pan1 and the Pan1 bonus, and uses it as a sig no matter how cruddy my edit was, I'll think you're awesome. I'm amused as it is going back and forth between the two images with my image viewer. Laughing

Thanks goes out to AGF-Antoine for informing me that the links in the download section were all timestampless. Otherwise, I would've had 4 early episodes to cap with the clock. Guess I didn't get my early episodes from his batch. Surprised

And thanks to atomknight for having those posted. So, here are the final 7 episodes, all capped for your viewing or editing pleasure!!

But I'm tired of doing this right now, so a post and a break right now. I'm proud of the Utagai on the cliff one, though. Since that was a diagonal view, and I had to do a bit of extra cloning to make it look like a full pic. I at least think it turned out cool.

Final post!! Unless somebody needs reuploads in the future. The second one from Ep. 28 was the one that was the pain in the [puku]. Any future pans will continue to be in their respective talkback threads as single images. Along with my caps as long as I keep doing them. But if there are another 20 some episodes and someone wants a zipped folder at the end, feel free to let me know.

Didn't want to make a new topic, so I figured this thread would be the most appropriate place to ask you all. If I could make a poll I would.

With the first season coming to a close, and with screencaps being available at On-Air, I'm pretty sure I'm going to stop my screencap uploads once Tribe begins. I first started only because there wasn't any site out there with caps and continued only because I'm just somebody who finishes what they started. But that said, it does take a bit of time, especially to stay as up-to-date as I tried to be.

I still honestly don't know if a single one of you ever downloaded my screencap batches. I've had enough comments here and there about the pans, but have no clue if anybody out there liked having the caps zipped up as I did. It's an option I like, but I'm an image hoarder and know not everyone cares to save everything. But that said, I won't necessarily quit if there is some demand for them. Or I could probably work something out with Seiko pretty easily to save us both time, if people like having screencaps for download like that.

So, if you like the zipped format for individual episodes, please speak up now so I can get some idea as to what I should do. And if you don't care either way, well, the upcoming finale will probably be it from me.

I'll still continue with pans, since you don't see those around in the community. But I might scale it down a bit and try not to do EVERY pan in an episode, especially if it doesn't really look that cool. Since a lot were just backgrounds over the course of the year... ^^; Any comments on this are appreciated.

I suppose my thing is that I like to see all the screencaps at once, that way I can just pick the ones I want and not worry about the rest.
I don't like the zip files because I have first download the file, the go through all the smaller files inside until I find the ones I like, then I'm left with a bunch of other pictures I don't want.

On the other hand, I absolutely love your scrollcaps. =)

Eh, I personally have never consistantly downloaded zip packs consitantly. Sometimes I would if I needed 'caps from a particular episode or I just wanted to see what happened without the huge download time.

Personally, I prefer the archiving system of On-Air. That way I can sort through the pictures, take the ones I want and leave the rest; but that's just me.
