RnR 33: Eyes on the Birdie for Spoilers!

Sooo...school lets out and Subaru decides to go see Utagai. Of course he wants Warp Speed, so Denpa Henkan time!
Luna happens to be passing by at the time and spots Rockman vanishing. Oh, well.
Meanwhile, back at the new FM base, the FMs seem willing to give this minus energy foraging thing another go. Problem is, Ox and Wolf seem to be missing.
They're at the park, talking about how much the plan stinks. Cancer calls them via mystical telepathic powers and tells them to come back to the base.
Like heck! they say. Let's go wreck some havoc! And they do. Denpa Henkan!
At that time, Rockman is checking out the remains of the old base for something. Whatever it is, they don't find it, so they go home. But Subaru catches a glimpse of the news and sees that Ox and Wolf are wrecking havoc.
Ohnoez! says Kizamaro, it's that monster that Gonta turned into! This makes Gonta confused. Luna is convinced her beloved Rockman-sama will come, and sure enough he does. He demands to know what they're doing and they smugly reply that they're attempting to collect negative energy to restore the Andromeda Key. Brilliant! Tell your enemy what you're doing. Anyway, back at the base, Cancer notices something strange about Wolf and Ox's energy readings: they're slipping.
Crown suddenly realizes that the that energy is the energy required for them to stay in their Henkan forms. The bird on his head agrees.
So, much fighting, energy's going down, much fighting, STAR BREAK! Ice Pegasus is on the scene!
Cancer gets an idea! He swipes a cannon and a gattling gun through the Wave Scanner. Ox and Wolf get weapons! Yay!
Ice Pegasus flies around, effortlessly avoiding their attacks. Suddenly, Ox and Wolf's energy runs out. The thought running through their mind is now: "Oh, fart."
Here comes the Satellite Police! Run for your lives! So while they're doing that, Rockman vanishes.
Back at home, Subaru and WarRock converse about the FMs plot to restore power to the Andromeda Key.
The FMs discuss the day's events and realize that they didn't do so good.
But, in the wave space, Gemini Spark Black muses on all that he has seen. In his hand, the REAL Andromeda Key.

Not a really special episode, great animation but an excessive use of still-shots, to the point were it almost started to annoy me. But luckily the still-shots were drawn pretty good.

Another thing I noticed is the apparent stupidity of those FM's. Only Gemini and Cygnu have proven that they are most likely the only two of Rockman's enemies with intelligence and strategy although it is not clear how much influence Tsukasa has in Gemini's plans. Speaking of Tsukasa, what has happened to him? He must certainly know about everything Gemini B is doing with the Andromeda Key as he was there when Cancer recieved the forgery. I wonder what he is doing during all of this.

I found that scene were Rockman hit Ox Fire with that over-sized hammer pretty funny though.

The episode was not bad, but I am starting to worry a bit about the use of the still-shots. I don't really mind them but this episode was pretty extreme regarding their use.

While I have no intention of competing with Seiko over posting caps, and I have no way to tell if a single person has ever even downloaded any of my batches, I guess I can continue posting a zip to my files if people don't want to go pic by pic through his. And I'll keeping stitching the pans...although after this episode, I don't know if I want to, since it'll take me a month to finish 'em all!!!!

This one had it's amusing moments and some nice art, but I agree that the pans were definitely overdone this time. Seemed odd to me that Crown's birdy could move and chirp, don't know if that's a game quirk as well. Funny, but odd.

I assume that Gemini is banking on the fact that the other FMs really can produce the negative energy by wrecking enough havoc that eventually the key will repair itself. But obviously now, they aren't the ones who are going to benefit from that hard work. And I'd guess Tsukasa fully knows what's going on with Black. After all, he had his sinister smile when he first retrieved the Key. I assume he'd totally be aware of what's going on, and wouldn't have much of anything to do himself. Not like the FMs would trust the human kid to give them orders or anything. A good villain knows when to stay behind the scenes, letting everything play out. He'll show soon enough again.

Edit: Good news, I got them all done today. Good news for me: Many of them couldn't be stitched properly, so there was a smaller number of finished ones. Bad news for you if you wanted to see more. But my stitching skills suck anyways, especially with these motion lines, so I doubt many people are sad about that. Now excuse me while I now find a good neck massager for my aches after sitting so long at the computer...

I think it's just misdirection.

If the FMs think they have the real Andromeda key, they'd no doubt act with a load of hubris. With that, Rockman would focus on them to prevent Andromeda from being activated again. Meanwhile, Gemini Spark is perfectly free to fix the key at his leisure.

I'm personally wondering how long Harp Note is going to be down and out, and how long before Misora learns Rockman's private identity?

I saw the episode and I still need to know something. Is minus energy REAL or fake? Judging from what has happened so far, no sign of minus energy has been confirmed. Seeing this, I have doubts about the Andromeda Key's power source. Can somebody help prove me wrong?

I feel like I've said this a thousand times already, but it's probably only the 5th. It's the skin you're using to view the forum. You need to be in the classic blue one to view any thumbnail link in full size. Or even if you click on someone's sig, it'll do the same thing. You can't use the new Greiga skin, or you just get the little hovering pop-up dealy that only shows the thumb. Should be no problem in the classic skin. I can open everything fine, it has nothing to do with the image host.

Anyone played Touhou? Yeah, it can be any version. When I saw Ox's and Wolf's energy run out, I was like, "LOL Spell Card Timeout."

Ooh, enemies using Battle Cards. It's about time - it does get boring to see only Subaru use these cards while Henkan'ed. Hope Misora will do the same soon.

Yep, and I said that too, back in the Ep. 29 Talkback thread. But if I personally did that posting the code, then the thread would be filled with ginormous pics, and that wouldn't be too good. But for anyone who absolutely has to view the forum in the Greiga skin, that is the other alternative. And it's no biggy UN, I know everyone doesn't read every single thread/post here, but I would hope just about everyone has figured that issue out by now. :/

I'm getting kinda peeved at how much the Denpa Henkan is being abused. If they're gonna Denpa Henkan, they SHOULD be using the humans they originally did it with! Why can't they just do that instead of cheating all the time? D:

Is it really so strange that they can just Henkan whenever they want? They did use the machine Cygnus Wing used to change them into their Henkan forms originally didn't they? This is actually more interesting, because now they can do it whenever they want, adding an element of...suspense, I guess? (it's late, my brain's not working right now)
Either way, it's not technically cheating.

Yeah, I know they used that machine, but that's seriously effed up. Why can't they just go back and steal their humans? That'd be pretty shwey, and add more suspense, wouldn't it?

A struggle for control of their own selves would seriously hamper the efforts of the FMs, and considering Rockman has the Star Force now, they'd basically be screwed. Above all, it would be rather dull, as a literal struggle for control is pretty shallow.

Besides, doppelgängers can make for much more interesting plot devices, if played out properly.
