Ryuusei no Rockman 34 (I saw spoilers in your Happy Meal!)

We start out with another evening battle between Ox Fire and Rockman. War Rock alerts Subaru that there's a water tower conveniently above them. So while Ox does his Ox tackle, Rock shoots it down with some vulcan action. Of course, Ox can't stop, so he charges right into it, screaming profanities all the way. OK, probably not that bad, but still, in a funny way. Throw in a thunder attack, and Ox Fire is done for the night.

Back at FM HQ, Wolf makes fun of Ox's stupidity while talking to Libra. Hahahaha! Ophichius shuts them up as Cancer Bubble (yeah, he's been converted from the FM form for whatever reason) proclaims "Denpa Henkan, Buku!!" F-Luna shows her face again, with some plan in store.

At school the next day, Luna's talking to Gonta, who appears to be totally burned out from all the work. As she's leaving, Luna notices Gonta left a book on his desk. Down the street she runs, finally getting him to turn around and notice her. But of course if you look carefully at that eagle eye shot, you could tell that this Gonta does not have his usual cutlery logo.

Skip another day and we're back in the classroom. Teacher, Subaru, Kizamaro and students are all standing back and watching Luna and Gonta go at it. Luna says something embarrasing/insulting, so the kids all laugh. Slam goes the Gonta fist!!! Anything you can do, I can do better, goes Luna!! Slam goes the Luna fist!!! Finally, teacher intervenes. Took long enough.

Gonta vents to Kizamaro as they walk home. But then he threatens the little dork, so Kizamaro runs away with his hands high in the air. Ruuuunnn!!! Subaru got stuck walking with Luna, and she is also venting and screaming. So he does the smart thing and tells her his home is now the other direction and walks away...slowly...

But not before we see F-Gonta in the alley where the two split up. F-Gonta notices the real Luna and flashes back to that scene where she gave him that book, only much closer to the action this time. Of course, what does Ox as Gonta need a book for? So he slams it to the ground. Back to the present, F-Luna is also there with F-Gonta. Their plan: ride the subway.

F-Luna short circuits the little transer payment dealy, and F-Gonta can't get through. Evil Medusa stare of doom!! "Eeek, I'm screwed!," goes F-Gonta.

Next up we head to Codama Burger. No clue if they bought out Regal Barger. Nothing like discussing world destruction at a fast food joint. By the looks of things, Ophichius wants to flood the subway system, which will then spread out of the tunnels in the overworld to make one guy climb a utility pole like a monkey. The flood will continue throughout the entire city, and that emotional stress and panic will cause the Andromeda Key to fill up with negative energy! If only that were the real key, of course. F-Luna seems to order F-Gonta not to screw up this plan on his own by the looks of things, and he sorta says OK, while he sips his drink and turns his eyes away all shifty-like, muttering something about her to himself.

Kizamaro is still walking when he sees the fakes in the window of Codama Burger. What are they doing together?! After a short scene between the fakes, F-Gonta takes a bite of a burger. No, wait, that was a sneaky transition!! It's real Gonta! Is he eating at the same place as his clone? He was ticked at first, but seems to be feeling regret. Hey, Luna's eating a burger too! Is this the real one as well? Yep, and she probably is expressing the same feelings as real Gonta.

We get a pan of the outside of the building, which is two stories tall. Whaddya know, the real Gonta and Luna are in opposing windows up top, somehow not knowing the other is there. While the fakes are exiting the building from the main level. Kizamaro Saw!!!...the fakes leave.

Cue the Frenchy carnival music!! Kizamaro spies on the fakes on the subway, as the dude he's hiding behind looks at him funny. At the amusement park, the swimming pool is closed. No fanservicey episode yet, kids. Kiz does some more spying from the ferris wheel. Now the fakes are at the beach. No, not for fanservice. Then they go to catch some fish. F-Gonta has success!! So does Kizzy, as he's pulled into the water by whatever was on his line.

Brrrrriiing goes Subaru's transer that night as he's sleeping. "What do you want, I'm going back to sleep," goes Subaru. "But I saw Luna and Gonta on a daaaaaate!," says Kizamaro...I think. He spazzes about the gossip he knows like a giddy little girl, but Subaru is asleep and not listening.

At FM HQ, Ophichius admires the cork of the Andromeda Key. Ox is missing, though. OUCH!! That alarm sound hurts my ears!! The FMs check the screen to see Ox Fire. "What's that idiot doing?," goes Ophichius. War Rock wakes Subaru, and this time he seems to be more aware. Ox punches the pavement and water comes out!! But will it be enough to flood the city? And shouldn't there be a fire hydrant near by if you're gonna be sure there's a water main under the street? Find out next week. Same Rock time, same Rock channel.

EDIT: Here are your pans. I have no clue why I stitched a giant wave. I just did. If anyone ever uses it, kudos to you. But yeah, sorta bland ones this week. And to note, the final one of Ophichius didn't really match up, thanks to the glowy moving arm parts. So if her arms look bulky, it's because I tried my best to put it together even though the two separate caps didn't line up properly. I did it anyways to compensate for the wave!

I'm almost positive Ox Fire didn't run into that water tank by "accident." It landed out of his path, but he veered off to the side to hit it. I can't translate the dialogue to know for sure, but since the water tank was red, and since bulls have a natural attraction to the color red, I'm pretty sure Ox Fire couldn't stop himself from running into it, hence the comical reaction from his colleagues back at FM HQ.

Even though bulls aren't actually attracted to the color red. The matadors in bull fights use a red cape so the crowd can see that he's waving it, which is what actually gets the bulls attention.
Still, it's that widely accepted belief that was used to explain why Ox suddenly veered off path, and I do have to admit that it's kinda funny. Though not as funny as Kizzy spying on F-Luna and F-Gonta. OMG they're dating! XD

Huh. I didn't realize that was a sort of urban myth, though I guess it does make sense that bulls are colorblind. Regardless, I'm almost positive a bull's assumed attraction to the color red is why Ox Fire hit the water tank.

I thought it was to do with homework as I heard "shukudai" but as that's one of the few words I could make out, I guess there was more to it in context. It kind of seems weird Luna would make such an issue out of it...with the whole class watching, if it was just a notebook.

I had to laugh when Kizamaro asked if Gonta really hadn't received the book and he replies: "...probably.", have some backbone already.

In the opening scene, the water didn't seem to bother Ox very much. He just seemed really mad. It was the supercharged electricity that got him, wasn't it?

As for Gonta having no backbone, keep in mind that neither of Luna's flunkies have a backbone. They do everything she says like she was a queen and not a mere class president. Even Subaru won't disagree with her.

I doubt that this has been posted yet, but it's not what I expected at all. Why Tsukasa and Gemini want Andromeda to be reactivated, and why they're doing this in an underhanded manner, is because... (BIG SPOILERS) They want to use Andromeda to destroy the FM Planet itself!
