yaaay tee-shirts. :D Gotta order mine!
Out of curiousity, is anyone bringing their Wii console with them? I have Trauma Center, Zelda, Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Monkey Ball, plus four controllers and two knunchucks. I dunno if I'd have room for the actual system though. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. On that note, assuming that a Wii or two get brought, everybody who owns one please bring along your Wiimote/nunchaku so you can share your Miis and whatnot.
If you do bring a Wiimote please tag it with something identifying - tie a ribbon around it, add a sticker, write your name on a piece of tape, etc. I've been in a situation where we've got 4 identical Wiimotes in a room and nobody knows who owned which one. I was asked/told by Jace to bring mine, I have Mario Party, Super Monkey Ball, and Rayman all can be up to 4 players. I will be getting Pokemon. I also have a slew of VC games (Mario Cart) and 4 WiiMotes/Numchucks but I don't have 4 VC controllers. Also I was thinking of bringing the PS3 but there are no good games for it (Ninja Gaiden looks promising, but it's not 4 player), anyone know anything 4 player and good coming out or out? |

I have one VC I can bring. :3
Also, for those who brought stuff last year, did you need an RC Adapater to hook up the systems? Or were there component slots available to plug in? _________________ "Cats are interesting. pssst. RF.
Yeah i thing we'll need the adapters, last year I remember screwing around in Guts' room trying to get it hooked up. I'm also bringing a small tool kit in case they have protectors. Lets just hope they upgraded their system since then, but I'm planning for the worse. |

I dunno if I'd have room for the actual system though. | My girlfriend gave me this awesome Wii travel bag for Christmas, which fits the systems and all cables and accessories.
I'll be bringing my Wii, two Wii-motes, two nunchucks, (one Classic controller if anyone thinks there'll be a need for it). Just gotta get some ribbons for them now XD
I'll probably just be bringing along WiiSports.
Perhaps someone could call the Holiday Inn and confirm whether or not their TVs have RCA ports we can use? If not, I'll have to find and buy an RF adapter. _________________

The Days Inn doesn't have RCA ports. We discussed it, like, seven posts up. XD _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*

I was saying that because someone said they might have upgraded their TVs... Well, if they do in fact lack RCA ports, I guess I'll have to try and track down RF modulators... They aren't that cheap, though - around $40. If people could help chip in for one, it'd be much appreciated.
We could also bring along a VCR and use that as a makeshift RF modulator. Heero said he could carry one - all we need now is a VCR and that problem's solved... that shouldn't be too much of a problem. _________________

On a slightly different note, it seems Day's Inn is doing some upgrades and repairs to their hotel. On my way to work last Tuesday, they were paving the entire guest drop off area. So, who knows what else they might be doing to revamp the hotel. I think they're trying to keep up with some of the other hotels like the Radisson who recently got a whole new logo and some revamping. Plus, there's a huge hotel being built with a skywalk to the convention center itself. Too bad we will miss it this year. It's scheduled to open fall 2007. But yeah! I can't wait. |

Isn't Otakon themselves the culprit of that hotel being built? I recall it threatening to leave over something, and the city giving in.
Hrm, guest dropoff eh? Good thing I don't use that. *honks around in the parking deck* _________________
