ZX bosses

Okay, I need help defeating bosses on ZX. Youtube has a limited amount of videos on bosses, but I'm looking for a better way to defeat bosses without hitting the weak spots. Anybody, just anybody, help me! I need help on these ones the most:

Fistleo
Lurrere
Purprill
Flamole

PS: where do I find X Biometal after the beginning?

You get X after beating the game as both Vent and Aile.

I'd recommend getting that before trying to level 4 each boss easily, but ZX will do since most of the time you'll be using the buster.

For Lurerre, it's easy. Use Model FX's buster edit so it goes forward, then shoots up, so that it hits the 'tail end' of the Lure which throws the attacks, and use OIS. You can squeeze in two shots before invincibility kicks in, I reccomend hitting Y then R quickly to do it, and then turning off OIS as soon as you do that. Rinse and Repeat.
As for how to edit the buster? Make it so it goes forward three squares, then up one. Or four squares. Depends on how far away you want to be.

Purprill is also easy. Wait for him to have both arms on the wire, shoot with ZX full-charge shot. If you try with X, he gets knocked off with the first shot, and MIGHT get hit in his weak spot with the second shot. OR You can try doing the ZX charge shot then Charge slash right after it, in this game, you can chain charge attacks like that, but be wary, the charge slash has a bigger range than you might think.

Flammole is discouraging cause his weak spot is almost always in range. But don't fret. As soon as you enter, unload both of your charge shots as X or your single charge shot as ZX, then dodge his attacks 'til he drills into the ground. Hit him while he's going down with a charge shot (or both if you're X), and dash to one side of the room, wait for it, then dash away, then wait for him to go down on the other side of the room, and hit him while he's going down. I guarantee you will not hit him on the third time he goes down. Well, you'll hit the weak spot is what I mean. People SAY to use HX and OIS, but I don't trust it. You're gonna want to hit Flammole as he is drilling into the ground, so that his claws are underground but his body isn't.

Fistleo is another annoying one, ESPECIALLY in hard mode. This guy likes to heal for no reason. Just sit still when the battle starts, wait for him to crouch down and heal, Jump and air dash over him with HX, get RIGHT behind him, and use a triple slash (Y,R,Y) with OIS on. Will take his health WAY down. Try hitting him with standing Y slashes if he's not doing anything, but try to take cheap shots at him when he's healing, just hit him from behind, and while facing AWAY from him. Do not do the triple slash while facing him, you are almost guaranteed to hit him. You have to be RIGHT next to him as I said.

Wait, what? I beat Vent's story already (with lots of level 3 wins) but I don't have X. Could you specify?

After you beat both Aile and Vent's story, it doesn't matter what level victories you got, but after you beat both stories, if you start a new file, you will have Model X even after you get Model ZX.

About those bosses, Luarle(lurrere -_-) is the easiest, just jump, activate OIS, shoot a few times, deactivate OIS, repeat process.

I usually get easy victories on Purprill with ZX, hitting him with charge attacks while he's on the ground(jumping ofcourse, so you'll hit the head) and mid-air charge attacks if he's swinging, tho be carefull as you might hit the arms >.<

Flammarl is a bit tricky but if you use HX's first charge shot, and aim it properly, meaning that it strikes from above, it's shouldn't be too hard...note that charged attacks(and all other attacks) double in power upon using OIS.

Fistleo? take him from behind with the smaller saber use OIS

Or you just use buster edit like I do and eliminate the need to jump at all, and eliminate any and all risk of hitting her in the head. (Lurerre)

For Flammole, I actually used the Z-Saber and, somehow, managed to to beat him without hitting the arms.
For Lurerre, I used the buster edit, like Shakai mentioned.
For Fistleo, I used the dashing charge shot to hit him without hitting his head.
For Purprill, I used my OIS in combination with HX to attack him when he hangs from the rope.

Thanks for helping, but now I just need to find out how to defeat Omega on normal AND hard mode.

No matter how much I love using my saber, I cannot attack Omega head-on. It's too scary. The strategy suggested by many is to use ZX's charge shots and rolling saber, but I normally just dash around and shoot both of my charged X buster shots, then run scared while I charge up again.

Another strategy I haven't tried, but MAY work, is to use ZX's charge shot then Charge slash immediately after. That works wonders on Prometheus and Pandora, but I have no idea how it works out on Omega.

Also, keep in mind, that in Hard mode, you CAN get a sub tank. Do the six nurse missions and you'll get it. I don't think you can get duplicate sub tanks from that mission though.

You CAN melee Omega with ZX's charged Saber. He always flnches when you smack him why he's jumping or about to Shun Goku Satsu you in the face( what's the official name for that combo anywho)? You could try HX but it's easy for HX to get AWAY from Omega then hit him and keep up with his healing. <_< and YES I've managed to do it on Easy. Still haven't trouble with Serpent on hard. Mainly reaching him without a sub tank.

I had the same problem, Xel.

Until I realized there actually is a sub tank in hard mode.

Be it a glitch, or whatever, but if you do the six Area L missions which award you a sub tank in normal mode, in hard mode, you will get a sub tank. I don't know if you can do the subquests AGAIN to get another sub tank (What I mean is that I know you can redo them, but I don't know and highly doubt that it gets you another sub tank.)

I've been told that you can't get one again. There's only one tank in the hard mode of the game. Also, any good pointers on Prometheus?

I'll try it out but I never did like those missions. <_<; In fact I'll hve to because even All mighty Model X can only do so much...As for Promethus, *I'm assuming the battle with him alone) You can take out his skull fireballs in one hit if you use HX;s OIS mode and slash them. I usually just take out one and use that room to dodge. It'ld take X's double charge shot or ZX's Charge buster/zaber to take them out otherwise. For the Wall spikes you should be able to see them coming and wall jump away from them. and the Scythe rush shoot at him and jump over him ) Or shadow dask with PX) to avoid him. Or HX's Air Dash straight up the middle of the screen. Except for the sckull fireballs he's quite easy. It's when he's with Pandora...>_>

Or if you're like me and have a complete Modle HX before that match, Two OIS Whirlwinds kills him quick.
