As the topic said I and my editor will be moving. I apologize to my many anxious readers for the long delay on my fiction. The Lan an Lyne staff will be moving to the ‘Glorious Land of the Source of Anime, Pocky, and Nintendo’ Smile

Yep that’s right you guys heard me. We’re moving to Japan. We just received notification of our orders to go, and looking at an August moving date. Hopefully by then my editor will be out of his slump. (When he slumps he slumps hard. Note: last posted chapter date) It can be partially blamed on our recent TDY’s to the sandbox.

If anyone here at REO has any requests for any Japanese goodies, and suggestive ways we can share our adventures with you guys please post replies here.

Japan has tons of amazing places to Fish... HAH, I forgot all about anime while there, although in some places, it sort of... crept up eventually. Eventually I found some weird adult book store somewhere.

Take some pictures of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial while there, that was deep for me.

Where exactly in Japan are you going?

Well, photos are the biggest way to tell someone about a place. Y'know, a picture is worth a thousand words, right? It'd be nice to see what the scenery is like in Japan. Smile

Chipnyu and Isumi: We both are going to Kadena Air Base located on the island of Okinawa.

We plan on getting passports in order to get around easier. Whipping out your orders is such a pain. There are 7 major military installations on the island of Okinawa as well, but being in the Air Force has it perks. Flash your AF ID card and you can get into places the Army, Marines, and Navy can't go cause the Japanese don't really like them, and this goes for discounts too.

Anyway there is also another spot of good news that I should've shared with you guys a while ago. The Lan and Lyne crew is going to get one more member around November 30th this year. I, the Author, am pregnet, and our child will be born in Japan. Isumi you're more then welcome to visit anytime as well.

I also like the suggestion of pictures. Question is where to host through. Hummmm......I know a few spots so that shouldn't be a problem, but might consider doing MySpace to make things easier.

And the rest of REO don't forget to place your Japanese goodies requests here. Wink

There are going to be alot of changes throughout the next few months. I finally got my sponsor from over there. YAY!!! Info package about base is on it's way and I can be better prepared for life in Okinawa. When we get there I might either make a new post topic or just change the title on this one so I can share stuff here.

Really? I'm just a tiny bit jealous you (and izumi) are getting to go. I might like to visit but I don't know if I could live there. I can't speak anything. But take lots of pictures. Lots! And I might ask for stuff but I'd feel I'd have to pay you back and I don't have any right now. ha ha ha. And terrific news about your baby. Just terrific.

I just put in for my Leave(vacation time) and my husband and I will be attending an con while we're there. wow, i can't wait to move there myself ... only 4 more years (hopefully)! take pictures of shrines and sakura trees, i love those pictures. they feel so ... peaceful and serene to me.

We'll just have to see. Maybe Isumi and I can come up with some neat things to share with everyone. I don't know about video game vending machines, I know stateside they do have them as prizes for various money sucking chance games. I did hear though there were vending machines that sell hot beverages that are in cans.

So picts of vending machines, temples, and sakura trees will be on the list and I should be starting my My Space acct soon to show maybe the packing process as well.

Please don't harass him too much. If any of the fans have any concerns please contact me via email or pm me here. He might be able to provide some incite into the story but not as much as me or Zodiac.

Oh come on Sis, don't sell me short. I am the Shadow Sub Author afterall.

Yeah, sending concerns to sis is a good idea, especially if it's something I don't know entirely, but knowing how hard it can be to get ahold of her, if you are in need of a quicker response, let me know and I can always do a fire sword fusion under her hiney.

Also, though I doubt anyone cares, any questions regarding the dynamic duo of NK and Kaori should be directed my way, including any questions regarding their history.

If time and mentality permits, I may clue in all L and L fans as to a project waiting in the wings.
