It's two of Fox's special moves. His B Blaster (which apparently is faster or something, but doesn't cause flinching now), and His Down+B Shine, or as it's called now Reflector. .....Pretty much the same as it's always been. |
Shakai, it was fast and it didn't make you flinch at all in Melee, and it's official name has always been the Reflector. Pro gamers just used "shine" because it was shorter, and easier to use.

I only played against people who use Fox in SSB original :B So that's why I don't know too much about Fox in SSBM. As for the name, I never knew that, thanks for telling me. I have to go punch my friend for making me think it was actually shine XDDD

I like the idea of the barrels and boxes changing their look for each stage, not to mention Links smash move. I was wondering if someone could confirm a rumor I heard, I read some where that Ridly from Metroid would be a new character.

My view on Ridley is;
To me, it would be hard to put that monster into a fighter due to it's size.
I can see him as a boss, exactly like Giga Bowser, who is unobtainable.
Unless you can download it.
And remember, Final smash and a smash are different.

That rumor is completely false and if you dont recall it was about WW Link (CLONE), Bowser Jr. (Clone) and Ridley (too gigantic) being characters for the game, but like I said it was completely false. Even Sakurai said it was. |

Taking all talks about character rumors aside, I checked on the site to find an update on playable stages. The new one is called Lylat Cruise and it looks so magnificent (ugh, I sound like a sissy). That also reminds me, does anyone have a good idea for the next stages that Sakurai will show us?

How can you control Ridley, in a fair way, if he doesn't walk at all? Besides, his size makes it diffulcult to resize. Otherwise, Sakurai will end up breaking the laws of character height (note: Samus is smaller than Ridley). |

You know, personally I've always found competitive Smash Bros. to be absolutely ridiculous, as SSB for me has always been a party fighter, have a blast with friends while grabbing them with DK and jumping off a ledge.
Also, Samus and Zelda look absolutely gorgeous. Although Zelda's hair is too dark.

Yeah, he's staying.
That Zelda is the Twilight Princess version. As well as the Link, obviously.
Like I said, Sakurai said only three or so are leaving. Or something like that.
I think he also said it's not going to be any of the ones that were in Smash Bros. So;
Mario, Luigi, C. Falcon, Kirby, Pikachu, Link, Ness, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, etc...
