If you were like me, then you were questioning if Brawl was really going to have online capabilities.

Well after doing some research, I found a Q/A held with Masahiro Sakurai that was posted up on the Official Nintendo forums in a sticky.

Q:Will this game have online play?
A:Sakurai said "My plan is to include Wi-Fi connection compatibility
and online functionality." One of the primary reasons Super Smash Bros. Brawl
was created was that Nintendo, when taking Wii online, wanted to have Smash Bros.
to do that. So to answer your question, yes.

I'm not sure if this was answered before in this topic ( looked in all 7 pages *Maybe I glanced over it?*)

Anyway, that should answer some questions people may have been wondering for some time now.

You think it'll do damage?

Well, you slip on the banana, and you fall. But you don't really receive fall damage, unless it's changed in this one.

That might hurt as much as the flower from the last game. Not much but it could. Plus it might could set a person up for a combo. That could be useful.
And I'd expect a lot on DK's stage.

It'll probably act like a smash that does no damage. In other words, if your percentage is high enough, the banana peel will send you flying, or something like that.

Also, the banana peel most likely means that DK is in the game. Which is news I was hoping would never come to pass =_=;

I think the banana might stun the opponent, not really damaging him in the process. Plus, Sakurai really outdid himself using an old prank as a weapon.

Wackoman, one of those images in your sig has to go, it's far too big.

If anything this update shows us what the menus are going to look like...they look similar to the first game.

The first games menu was darker than this so I dont think it`ll be like it. However on the contrary atleast we get to set our own controls, but im gonna stay with the basics.
