Ryuusei Ep. 37 Talkback (Leaning Tower of Spoilers)

Last time we left with Misora taking her turn on Quiz Choose Get. She starts off by choosing Box A. It's...a gigantic inflating (yet plush) Stegosaurus looking thing. Huggles. Or that other description DrkX would rather use. Applaud Misora, folks.

F-Ikuta points to the crowd and picks Akane to come on down. "ZOMG, it's Mom on the TV!" goes Subaru. Or rather, he's sorta embarrased by something War Rock says to him. Title Screen!

Hey, the smudge is finally gone. F-Ikuta asks the next question. No pressure, Akane. Just a large man pointing his finger at you a few inches from your face while demanding an answer. While she's stressing, F-Chiyokichi bursts on stage. I know the answer, Buku! F-Ikuta isn't too happy to see Cancer. F-Chiyokichi wants box A. Akane yells at the brat and picks B. She lifts up her box and gets um...are those poppyseed bagels? Some type of baked good. Sorta seems like F-Chiyokichi was upset he couldn't impress Misora, but I of course can't translate to know for sure. Harp tells her that he is Cancer, however.

The remaining FMs discuss Cancer's failure in the crowd. So Akane won, let's get a new contestant. (Boy this is a simple game.) It's F-Gonta. War Rock notices on the TV, and alerts Subaru that the FMs are up to something.

Meanwhile, on a wave road near the Radio Wave Eiffel Space Needle Tower, the Gemini twins have the real Andromeda Key. And they're plotting away. Back at the show, F-Gonta gets his question and...is in love with it? Ok, not in love with it as he falls to the ground holding his head. I have no clue what happened here.

But then F-Juurou steps in wanting a turn. The control room guys don't get what's going on either. F-Juurou has to choose between a round thing with a bunny stenciled on it or a meatball with some markings on it. Either way, round things give F-Juurou the urge to turn into wolf form, just like the real Juurou. Quick, cover your tail!

Of course, they all have to get into the act, so it's F-Jean's turn. I just now realize he's voiced by Dr. Wily's seiyuu. I love that old man's voice. Sounds like it's a question about Misora. F-Chiyokichi cuts in to answer. F-Jean holds the runt down and replies. Old man/Little kid fight over a little girl singer!!!!! Let's take a commercial break.

Time to confront Libra for his actions. Denpa Henkan time for the FMs. Ox and Wolf transform first while F-Luna makes sure the control room crew keeps the camera rolling. Flat snakes come to life! The audience evacuates, leaving F-Ikuta to pose with the spotlight before he transforms back into Libra Balance. A few scenes with the FMs on TV or transers.

The studio starts to crumble as the FMs talk to Libra about what his intentions are. For whatever reason (I assume this goes back to when Libra was at the mall wondering about the crying child and continues with the deal he made with the TV honchos last eppy) Libra is now being branded a traitor. Wolf slashes him, but Libra teleports away before being severely hurt. And in teleports Rockman in his place.

They are about to fight, but some Gemini Thunder interrupts the action. I think he orders the FMs to take down the Radio Tower, so they all attack it. Rock gets hit in the explosion, but Harp Note saves the day. While Harp takes care of the FMs, Rock tries to keep the tower from collapsing by holding/pushing a beam.

Libra sees on one of the outdoor jumbotrons that Rock can't hold on much longer. He gives himself two choices, sounds like both A and B were 'Lovely'...or the kana inversion Dan Sidney brought up last talkback. Harp Machine Gun Strings Cancer and he teleports out, forcing F-Luna to Denpa Henkan and join the fight.

Libra makes it to Rock and offers his help. Heavy Weight! *SLAM* And that fixes the leaning radio wave eiffel space needle tower. With that done, a quick thanks to Libra, and Rock goes to help fight the remaining FMs with Harp. She gets hit by Crown's thunder attack, so War Rock suggests Star Force transformation, Dragon to be precise.

Rock pulls of his cyclone attack, sending Team FM blasting off again. Harp is OK, so she thanks him and takes off. Meanwhile, the Gemini twins observe the change in the Andromeda Key.

Hooray! Party! F-Ikuta is caught off guard. The show must have been a success, because the executives are celebrating and discussing with him. F-Ikuta must like being human, because I think he's got a steady job now!

Back at FM HQ, the remaning baddies continue to pig out as they have to now deal with having one fewer member on their side. But it looks like they're still watching their old pal do his thing on another great episode of Quiz Choose Get!

This episode was also very random, though I am glad to see that Gemini Spark is back. <3
And Dragon! Yay, Dragon!
Now that Libra is excomunicated from the band of not so merry mischief-makers, what's next?

The last few episodes were disappointing for me IMHO but this one was more enjoyable. There were some funny moments and I liked the action later on. They could have shown us a bit more of Rockman in his Dragon form though. His appearance only lasted a few seconds.

I find it surprising why Libra decided to do everything he did in this episode and the one before, although I like the change in his character development.

I didn't understand why Rockman's Elemental Cyclone could throw Cancer in the air again after he was already defeated earlier by Harp Note.

A decent episode, and nice to see Gemini Spark again. Still, after the defeat of 'Cygnus' the series has become less interesting for me with several weaker episodes lately. But I guess that the story will pick up steam again when we are nearing the end.

This is a start, another FM besides Harp actually helping Rockman. I wonder why. Wish Numbergirl was here to help.

My favorite scene was the moment where Harp Note caught Rockman as he was falling. A rather cute parallel to episode 29.

Beyond that, though, the episode was a kinda dry. There was just too many pans and not enough actual action.

I haven't seen this episode yet, not that that would matter anyway, so this is just pure conjecture on my part based on the summaries obtained thus far...

But maybe the FMs considered Libra to be a traitor because he was making people happy instead of trying to scare people into creating the negative energy that they needed?

This probably is the case, however, in the end, the scheme seemed to have worked, as Spark Black notices how the Andromeda Key is filling up again.
