OTAKON 2007 - And so it continues...

OK, I went through the posts and scanned through who was bringing Wiis. A few people repeated the fact that they're bringing their Wii, which is why I thought there were a lot of Wiis being brought.

Here's the scoop
Room 3 - GM Link is bringing one.
Room 4 - RX Maverick is bringing one.

I'm also bringing mine along, but I think I'll likely set it up in Room 1, unless Ryouko-tachi have issue with that. My room is the Newfie Wii set up in another room would be cool... and a good excuse to hang out with mah web buddehs. I suggest only the Wii owners themselves bring WiiSports... we only need three copies. I own Red Steel, Zelda, and 4x4 Monster Truck Racing... so I'll probably be bringing just WiiSports and maybe Monster Truck Racing...

I do encourage everyone to bring their Wiimotes and nunchucks, though. I do encourage people to load their remotes up with their favourite Miis. And, most of all, put something unique on your stuff so no one gets confused what is who's.

Room 1 (the admin room) will have their own Wii. :3 So no need to bring one just for us. Haha...I can imagine all the wii messages we could send to each other via wifi to all the rooms. XD

It would work out a lot better than last year's idea. We tried to leave DS's on in the rooms with Pictochat going for communication. Sadly, the connection never really stayed.

Well, If that's the case, I'm going to probably pass on bringing my Wii. I'll just bring my Wii remotes so I can play on the other Wiis. I'll have my laptop, so people can just send me messages over IRC.

Dunno if Ryo or an admin will be mad,but just a simple reminder:

Otakon is in 2-3 weeks or so and things can be a hassle for those that haven't planned everything.If anybody has any questions for planning stuffs,let me know.Personally,I'm not bound for the big OtaRockman meet,but I could lend some help in anything you guys need.Like,things to pack,etc.

Yes, Rian, come to my house and pack for me, because I"m not quite capable of doing it myself Smile

On a side note, I'm not at the Days Inn this year, so I'll be stalking some random group around :X [most likely the same group I did last year, ze admins~]

I think I'll carry Cortana [mah laptop] around with the con with me, although I'm not sure it's a good idea...D: Our hotel is mildly farther away than the Days Inn tho, so getting stuff is not exactly convenient.

On a side note: I started my Subaru costume! :D

As far as I know it's open WiFi so you can connect as many devises as needed. If we want our own router/firewall/network tell me and I'll bring one, but I don't see the need. I also will have a laptop set up in my room with an open guest account for anyone to walk in and use. Unless there is a request I am NOT bringing my PS3. I like the idea of having someone pack for me, Jace/Tabby you feel like driving up and helping me?
