What is wrong with Samurai Goro?
I'm actually happy another member from F-Zero is joining in. These assist trophies kind of put a spin on things. This could mean Sora, Sonic and even Megaman could be in this game.

Assist Trophies = Smart Move.
Likely from all the character suggestions, they realized they couldn't add enough playable characters to make everyone happy. So why not just add a whole bunch of cameo characters? It certainly worked for Marvel vs. Capcom, there's no reason why it wouldn't work for Smash Bros.
Here's hoping, however, that Megaman is a playable character and not just an assist.

No they said there wouldnt be a PLAYABLE DEMO. They didnt say there wasnt gonna be a trailer. |

and as Masahiro Sakurai said "Bowser has a slightly different flavor this time around!" I'm not quite sure what that means. Maybe he has a new move set or something, but I like that way it sounds ^.^
