Somehow, I get the feeling that by episode 40, the FMs are going to catch onto Luna's crush on Rockman, and devise a plan to procure negative energy by revealing Subaru's identity.

Not necessarily "turning evil".
In Japanese culture, anybody who's too-darned-good-at-what-they-do-it's-unnatural gets called Daimaou (literally Great Demon King) by their peers.

That's one of the most understandable things about japan yet. And yeah, people do that in other countries too sometimes. A lot of people might think someone has alien or otherworldy skill.

So maybe that machette wielding robot has a purpose other than to spice up Utagai's office. If that's so, these two eps could be some enjoyable filler, since I don't see how the plot can be advanced with this.

I guess calling someone a Daimao would be just like calling someone who's good with computers, say, a computer freak, or nerd.

Episode 42: Inventor Demon King Utagai
Utagai, trying to think of inventions that will benefit the whole world, is beset with lots of failed inventions.
Amachi suggests inventing something that will solve the problem of denpa viruses, but....

Episode 43: Great Amaken Panic
Utagai's Denpa Virus Reducing Device goes haywire, filling Amaken with denpa viruses. Subaru transforms into Rockman and fights, but is easily overwhelmed. Here, Cancer steps in.

Both eps directed by Akira Takahashi

So.... Are they going to start offing them? I wouldn't mind if crown went as well but I like the others. So if they went the way of the swan FM then that would be sad.

Ep 44's summary looks like Libra's trying to decide whether or not to drop his TV show. And, if I'm reading it correctly, the indecision resulted in a hyped-up Libra AND a subdued Libra Shocked

Not sure, though. I couldn't copy-paste the kanji to check Embarassed

Ep 45's summary is up, too. Aliens have Problems, Too
Looks like the split theory's right, coz the "fiery Libra" got to publish a book and was a big hit, while the "watery Libra" is.... (can't read that part, sorry)
