The further a date is, the better the game tends to be. December 3 is also the date Melee came out.

In other news. BUMPER BUMPER BUMPER BUMPER BUMPER. Awesome, perhaps tommorow at the gaming thing for E3 we might see a new character.

Yes we know there`s no demo, but there will still be a trailer. Just wait `till tommorrow hits.

What, you mean keeping people from getting back onto the stage? When has that ever been considered cheap?

As for the Bumper, I never played the first Smash Bros, so I'm looking forward to giving it a spin. It can't be any worse than that spinning thing or Wobbufett...

EDIT: Donkey Kong has just been announced as the next returning character, though this should come as no surprise. There's also a short video up; no new information, but it's got some funny clips in it.

Well, that's edge guarding. I recall a lot of arguements involving whether edge guarding was fair or not. Some people kept claiming it wasn't honorable and practically cheating, though I always considered them to be just making up excuses for losing.

I wouldn't really call it unfair or cheating. Mean spirited I could agree with but it's not as if you're actually cheating. Wave Dashing is closer to cheating than edge guarding would be.

Besides, the point is to knock people off the edge. It's kind of ridiculous to expect people to have to let you up just so they can knock you off again. I'd guess some of the people who complain about edge guarding are probably losing more than they like.

Yeah, and wavedashing isn't cheating either, so I don't see how the bumper is cheap.

EDIT:http://wii.ign.com/articles/804/804234p1.html

No Brawl at E3...but there should some event soon, apparently.

Wave Dashing IS cheating to an extent, much like BXR/BXB in Halo2: It's an exploit in animations, if I'm correct.

Then again, I don't wavedash/know how to, so I don't care...

I always thought that it was just an exploitation of physics. It doesn't give that much of an advantage.

As such, it's a pretty lame "cheat". It opens up new strategies, though.

Wavedashing made the game fun for "competitive gaming," which in super Smash Bros. is retarded.

Animal Crossing stage looks pretty cool, and also, Giga Bowser looks freaking amazing.

I've heard of wave dashing, yet I still have no idea wtf it is.

....And at first I was going to say "eww, Animal Crossing" then I realized, this is actually a pretty nice stage. Very cute, and a live performance by the doggy XD

Wait, competitive gaming is "retarded". Please, do explain. I wavedash, L-cancel, and pretty much everything. Does that make me retarded? Does that make me cheap?

Or are you just mad because YOU can't do it?

Wave Dashing actually has a name and gets mentioned in the game somewhere. It seems to be a somewhat intentional exploit from what I'm told.

If wave dashing is exploiting, doing combo's is one as well.

I wouldn't even call it mean spirited. I call it taking a gamble because if you don't hit them hard enough, you'll only have succeeded in giving them another shot with the up and B.

An animal crossing stage? That's interesting. Plus the time difference between it sounds very interesting. This should be fun.

Oh please. You sound like the jackasses who try and establish that BXR/BXB/Halo 2 glitches are totally not cheating in any way, just because anyone can do it.

I can't do it, and even if I could, that doesn't change that it's cheating.

No, I just don't like playing "competitive" Smash Bros. I find Super Smash Bros. to be a lot more fun when you're screwing around and having fun. Hence why I never got near Smash Bros. tourneys, since I thought that was taking such a light hearted and fun game way too seriously.
