It's up to your own opinion whether Wavedashing is actually a problem or not, but regardless of that it is still an exploit of a glitch and/or the game's physics engine.
Personally, I have no issues with it. I can't wavedash at all myself, but I never found it nearly as game-breaking as some people make it out to be and it adds some interesting ideas for new strategies. |

TO get back [more] on topic:
Smashville is officially the cutest stage EVER.
Zomg I cannot wait. I wonder if they'll have christmas, new years, etc. That'd be awesome.
Just imagine, playing SSBB on new years ever, countdown gets to 0, the game goes black-screen and this appears on the screen:
"WTF stop playing u r such a loser :( go to a party!"
I would roffle D: _________________ all i ever wanted was the world |

As I've never really heard much about exploits (wavedashing, L-cancel) myself, I can't give an opinion on their validity.
First, however, exploiting mistakes in a game's design has always been rather cowardly, since it's saying that you can't win without bending the rules. Second, anything that's defended with the argument "you're just jealous because you can't do it" CANNOT be taken seriously, at all.
As for the new stage, the design is a tad disappointing (it has been for most of the new stages, unfortunately), but the environment itself is hilarious. I'm most interested in seeing if the spectators do anything (like throw items onto the stage maybe?) and what happens when KK Slider shows up. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

Hmm.. It seems like the game stops for the performance.
Fox spins when he does his Fire Fox, that's kind of sexy. _________________ Star Fox : Command

Yeah, I have to admit, so far it seems like just a lot of
"_________" stages and a lot of
" ____ ____
_______________" stages.
Kinda boring, but the backgrounds and art of the stages is *VERY* pretty.
More diversity! Less Battlefield and Final Destination. More...uh....I dunno. But less BF and FD. _________________ all i ever wanted was the world |

I myself love flat courses, but I've started to get the hang of moving ones and more intricate ones (like Mute City and Hyrule Temple), so I wouldn't mind a little variety. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Pokemon Stadium anyone? Who doesn't love a stage that changes periodically?
How about the first Brinstar; small, but with a hazardous environment that provides plenty of laughs and strategic options.
Or maybe Onett; a multi-level stage that's both unusual because it has no bottom and an interactive environment.
And I'm sure plenty of other people can name more stages as their favorites; this is what we really need to see! _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

Personally I hate the pokemon stadium....but that's only cause I don't like pokemon.....Though I will admit the leaderboard is pretty cool.
Know what? I take it back. I don't hate it XD
Though the Acid in the Metroid Stage (The only Metroid Stages which have it) annoyed me to no end.
Though the glitch where if you get a star, you go through the acid and die was hilarious (I think that was only the original SSB, but I'm not sure.)
Onett was definitely a weird one for me...No falcon Punches assured XD _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

My favorite stages were the crazy huge, moving ones, like Big Blue, Pokefloats, and Rainbow Cruise. Hyrule Temple bored the heck out of me, 'cause all anyone would ever do is "LOLZ RUN AND SPAM LAZER." Urgh. _________________

lasars in Hyrule? o_o I don't recall that strategy ever being used on me..
And pokefloats was pretty cool....
Eek, SSBM is making me like pokemon.
Never played Rainbow Cruise that much, my SSBM friend's a mario fan, but he always wanted to play on the castle <_>; _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Just to specify a couple things on fashing and stuff... While they are exploits, none of these things are really the kind of ability that would make you instantly win the game if you can use it. They basically just add a couple extra options for players who know how to do them and a lot of the really good players who use them already can win without bending the rules.
And far as the stages go, Melee had quite a few "battlefield" type stages too really. There's been a couple bigger stages in Brawl that were shown in the trailer that just haven't gotten coverage on the website yet. |

Oh, I understand that. While it's all well and good that there are some people who can use them who can win without them, the fact still remains that it's "breaking" the rules set by the game world, almost like altering gravity or friction would be for real life. Sure, they don't have a huge effect on the game's outcome, but it's still an effect, and it's wrong. Yeah, I realize I'm probably alone in this view, but I've always been a bit strict when it comes to fair play.
Hyrule Temple has been a bit of a favorite with my friends primarily because the large size provides plenty of space for elbow room in free-for-alls and rather epic battles that last for over half an hour.
And hopefully some of the stages already shown in Brawl will have the unique features that made some of the Battlefield-ish stages in Melee stand out, like the switches in Peach's Castle and the moving platforms in Fountain of Dreams. I don't really count the stages carried over from the first Smash Bros; since they were the first, they can sort of get away with a more generic design. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover
