Well call me crazy but it would have been neat if the original voice actors did the english dub, I cant help but wonder what their voices would sound like in english. But oh well thats asking too much seeing as languages are kindof hard to learn. I dont mind the voice acting that much but I must admit that viz better have a good voice actress for Harpnote, because she is a singer and sings in the anime, so it would sound bad it the person is tone deaf (i wonder how her song would be in english?), or would they cut out those parts so not to worry about it? _________________ Forte is so cute!! :grr: |

If I remember correctly, Megumi's songs from Konjiki no Gash Bell AKA Zatch Bell were cut from the dub. But she has an alright dub voice. If I remember correctly that is.
As well, Folgore's song was COMPLETELY edited. For obvious reasons. It was uhh....I guess he did the song alright, dunno. Haven't listened to it in ages.
((The reason it wasn't cut was because the song plays a part at least every five episodes.)) _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

It's probably too much to hope that Viz will keep Heart Wave as the opening theme...
IF Ryuusei were to air on TV, it would most definately be on CN, cos when NT Warrior and Axess aired here in Australia, they were both on CN. Then again, I don't think Kids WB has ever been available here on Cable/Satellite, so there wasn't any alternatives... Oh and NT also aired on Cheez TV (Free-to-air), but that was months after it aired on Pay.
Also here's an interesting thought. To my knowledge, Ryuusei doesn't have a closing Theme, which sugests to me that Viz will organise one to put their credits in... _________________ "There is no coincidence, only Hitsuzen" Yuko, xxxHolic

Two hours? Wouldn't that cover the first eight episodes in one go? _________________

well if it is a two hour premiere then yea it would cover the first eight episodes. but then again knowing cartoon network, they are going to add a whole bunch of commercial breaks, probably a long credit ending to make it seem longer. Most likely maybe 5 or 6 episodes.
im just worried that cartoon network is going to pass through the whole series really quickly. i think it would b better just for them to air it on toonami jetstream. |

the episodes are only 10-11 minutes. based on your theory, that would mean there would be an hour of commercials combined with an hour of footage. CN has done stupid things before, but this would completely turn off any viewers out there. If it really is only Ryuuesi (starforce) during this two hour event, then i would expect at least 7-8. But, we'll soon find out. If it makes any difference, I'd rather see Beast dubbed than Ryuuesi, but whatever. _________________

Let me explain my reasoning for why 2 hours would cover 8 episodes:
- Robot Chicken
- Aqua Teen Hunger Force
- Tom Goes to the Mayor
- 12oz. Mouse
- Squidbillies
These are all approximately 10 minutes long. And both Cartoon Network and Teletoon have no problem putting two shows into 30 minutes. So chances are, they might do the same with Ryuusei. _________________
