OT: Is it okay to post HP7 fanfics yet?

Just wondering if it's even okay to post a fanfic based off the final book yet? The spoilers in my fanfic have to do with Chapter 34.

I'm just asking out of respect, because some people may not want to see or read them this close to the release.

That's a good question. Seeing as how the book was released only two days ago, I would probably wait until next week, at least. Not everyone has read the book yet, and it's only fair to leave the spoilers off the forum for that much time.
