Saw it on July 2nd and I thought it was a pretty good movie. A lot of the humor felt natural, which I thought was nice. It was especially cool to hear people cheer in the theatre, unlike the other movies I have seen this summer.
Will hopefully see it again this week. ( : _________________ ^High GPA manipulative little MegaMan lover.^

Gaaah I loved this movie so much xD. I remember watching Beast Wars when I was little...then my older bro saw me when he was visiting and gave me a bunch of G1 videos xD. Anyway yeah, I wanted to show up at the movie with the Optimus helmet and...gun...gauntlet...thingies hasbro made. Along with a blue shirt and red tie, introducing myself as Optimus Prime's cubicle inhabiting father or something xD. But my friends wouldn't let me T-T
As for my favorite quotes?
Ratchet-The male's pheromone levels indicate he wishes to MATE with the female.
Optimus-Freedom is the right of all sentient beings." (That's epic right there.) |

Seen it twice, awesome movie.
Has some flaws, big and small, but hey, at least the transformers were more realistic than an entire town not seeing the difference between Superman with or without glasses :D

I thought Transformers was fair. I'm a big fan of the original series, but the movie was... okay. The typical immature American jokes peeved me off, way too much focus on the humans and most of the movie was just... kinda dull. The voices for the Transformers were pretty good though... but Hugo Weaving doesn't do a good Megatron. Frank Welker should've been chosen, but noooo...
And Sam's actor was bad. My brothers and I are convinced they only chose him because he can squeal well. Most of the human actors were good at overreacting.
Ah well.... but... still... they... THEY KILLED JAZZ! How can they do that?! That's just not right... ;~~;
Overall... it was fair. I'm not willing to say it was 'good'. It didn't suck like I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't "awesome."
My eyes still bleed at Starscream's design. x_x _________________ "Life is too busy to try and stop someone from having a conversation with a fire hydrant." -Dr. Phineas Waldolf Steel

I loved it, I grew up watching the original movie every day over and over with my brothers so I have loved transformers for a while
I thought the movie was great for a live action version of the story |

Well, that's what you get for surviving that horrible animated movie! God, I hated the G1 movie (Read: 1.5 hour marketing ploy to make us throw away awesome transformers, replacing them with sucky ones) with a passion
http://www.benprocter.com/SITEv2/HTML/PROJPAGE_Trans_01.html This site shows some pretty cool concept sketches and drawings from transformers and how they came to be :O

I like how they used the comic book version of Megatron instead of the animated one.
Now he's the awesome RAWR badass he's supposed to be. Which is probably why they didn't use Welker, he's too mellow. _________________

I heard it was because he's too old now and his voice is too different to be used. _________________ "There is no coincidence, only Hitsuzen" Yuko, xxxHolic

I haven't gotten the chance to see it yet, but I most likely will soon, considering I have relatives who helped with the production of that movie. I think they did the set designing and other things like that.
The 'Bootleg Ninja' who works under my dad got us a bootleg, but I bet it's only better to watch it in theater-quality if you're actually there.
You guys'll have to tell me what happens if I never end up seeing it. :D _________________
