If there's a water and fire libra then would they have just one balance thing or there just be water or fire on both? I'm over thinking this aren't I?

Hm, I wonder if they're just stalling until more info on the second game comes out... It's too bad that there is still a wealth of game material that hasn't been used yet. Luna's parents, the giant viruses, Jammingers, net navis...

Oh well. We'll see how this turns out by the fall.

Well, I think Ryuusei's biggest flaw is that it fails to use the game material to its full potential. Take, for example, Tsukasa. His split personality thing appears to have been ignored; he goes along willingly with Gemini. Think of how many episodes they could sqeeze out of that, and the psychological toll it could take on the characters.

Luna's parents, while probably not deepest characters, could catch on to their daughter's crush, inflict some sort of punishment, stir Luna's resentment or something, paving the way for some crisis that Rockman solves, thus forcing them to see him in a new light. You could easily get three episodes out of that.

While Ryuusei's fillers aren't that bad (with the possible exception of the human-virus episode), a parade of them is still a bit annoying, seeing as how they haven't truely run out of material yet.

I don't mind if the anime is not a perfect adaptation of the game. I do mind when details in the game are ignored that could make the anime even better.

I actually liked the mail filler more than the human virus. The former was a cute episode showcasing a boy's earnest desire to help people and make up for his mistakes. The latter I found to be dull and predictable. The only thing that I found entertaining was the comic relief Goyoda provided.

More episode titles, and let me tell you... These ones are really throwing me for a loop. I've translated them the best I can, but I can't quite make sense of any of them on my own. Also, there are no summaries, so we're all together on the speculation train. Here you go...

(Also, if episode 48's title is any indication, maybe I'm off-base with my assumption that this particular series of the anime is concluding at 51 episodes. I can't imagine what War-Rock's politeness status has to do with the end of the story. Of course, not many of EXE's final episodes had much to do with a finale either...)

UPDATE - I've been informed the "W" may possibly reference "double," which would make sense considering the FM-Seijins can turn into the humans they once possessed. Won't know for sure until the episodes air or the summaries are posted.

New titles and summaries! Per usual, I'm not fluent in Japanese, so double-check these if you know more than me.

第44話「リブラ・バランス崩壊」
Episode 44 - "Collapse of Libra Balance"
Art Director: Masayuki Nomoto
The summary translated by Babelfish references that the Libra of water and the Libra of flame separate into individual personalities, and the Libra of flame starts on "terrestrial invasion." From the looks of TV Tokyo's summary, it looked to me that the real Ikuta would finally meet W-Ikuta, but maybe that's NOT the case. Hmm...

Episode 45 - "Aliens Also Worry"
Art Director: Masayuki Nomoto
Still about Libra... I'll just copy/paste the Babelfish translation: "The diary which put together your own experience the libra which applies to the prize of the novel. The diary of the libra was chosen in grand prix and large hit, libra boom visited again. Is, but the libra of weak water is pessimistic, when also this position they are brittle ones."

This summary is... odd. It mentions Luna deciding to win Rockman over with homemade cooking, and it mentions... that, in order for Ophiuchus to "support life," she must take out a part-time job. What?

Something about Luna's plan to lure Rockman with her homemade cooking succeeds, and then Cancer makes a loud noise, and Luna comes running, or something. Hell if I know. But it definitely doesn't sound like we're working up to a conclusion... at least one that won't be rushed.

Episode 49 - "Skeleton Change!"
(not positive about the "skeleton" part at all... when Babelfish translates it, I get "It is, Secret Change!" However, my dictionary matches up "がいこつ" as meaning "skeleton," and the remaining part of the title is obviously "change"... so it's hard to say... I'll work on getting a better translation soon)

第50話「告白」
Episode 50 - "Confession"
(Easy translation, and obviously regarding War-Rock...)

第51話「ブラザーバンド」
Episode 51 - "Brother Band"

Hey guys, I just checked on the official site. Apparently, they took out the summaries for episodes 46 and beyond. I wonder why?

If you meant the Capcom site, they weren't posted there yet. They only have until part 2 of the Libra split-personality arc.
The Xebec site still has the W-Luna summaries, and no new ones since they were posted.

The ideas for the lunas sound interesting. Because they sound funny. But I'm guessing skeleton means crown thunder. But those last two sound very interesting.

The 2nd game comes out in November, which I think was the norm for the EXE games.

Well, it's nice to know that there will be more than 51 episodes. Makes all of this mediocre filler we've been getting recently a little more bearable... a little. I'm guessing there's going to be 56 episodes, just like EXE.

Hmm, for some reason I'm thinking the first episode of season 2 will have Subaru getting his ass handed to him by Bly.

I am happy that there will be more than 51 episodes as well. Hope that the plot gets heavier for a great conclusion. But I'm going to steal from info from Seiko, since he has not posted it here yet. Something may have changed since he posted this at On-Air, but I'll assume it hasn't.

We know Ape Escape (Saru Getchu) airs in the other half of the timeslot, and they release episode titles in the same manner. You'd think that Ape Escape's season would end at the same time as Ryuusei. But, we have some intrigue:
