If they made Model A have rapid fire shots, they would have to include a combo system, something they're not going to do for ZX for the simple reason that it's not X8 XD.

It's Axl. Come on. Who else uses copy abilities?

As well, I was concerned about why did he not have air dashing and hovering.

Why?

Model H has got that covered. And Model A is the first model in the game. They won't give you everything from the start, don't you know that? XD

Actually, in Storyline it's powers aren't based on Axl. Yeah, Capcom designed him to look like Axl. But in storyline he has no connection with him. Anyway, I won't post spoilers here ^^

I already said my opinion on that. They just couldn't make more Livemetals, so they adopted the copy body route.

It IS quite fun going around the stages as the bosses though.

Yeah, I thought it's Axl too. But we can hear about Model A origins near end of the game. I mean, about who it's creator was, and which reploid's powers Model A use. I'm not so good at japanese, but I think I managed to understand this part.

Model A is *ZXA ENDING SPOILERS! KYAAAAH!* Model Albert. Made by Master Albert himself. Albert HAVE ability to transform into other reploids. And that's why Model A is so childish. Because it's pretty young.

Just because Master Albert can perform Trans On doesn't mean the model is based on him. No where is it stated that it's named after him or even based on him. It's only revealed that he was the original creator of the Live Metals, Prometheus and Pandora, and Grey. By your logic, if it's based on him just because he created it, then it means ALL of them are based on him. Not to mention you would think it would resemble him or his true form. Not to mention the true name he bears is DAN-000 "Original". Based on everything that has happened along with Model A's interactions with Model X and Model Z, it's still strong to believe that Model A is based on Axl. Not to mention if you recall the X series, Axl wasn't the only Repliroid who could transform. Lumine is the example I'll use here. Why? Look at Original's second form.

Notes about the story:
-Yes, Model A was created by Master Albert
-Master Albert is "Original"
-Original's second form bears a striking resemblance to Lumine.
-Model V is his creation and is used to power the eight Falseroids as well as Prometheus and Pandora.

Then by your same line of thought, even Model X and Model Z could not be based on Megaman X and Zero, because there's nowhere explicitly said. They could be named after some other heroes that were just called with those same initials, like Xanahort and Zebes. <.<

Don't be ridiculous. The intention for Model X and Model Z is obvious.

Like I said, there's not much connection between Model A and Master Albert/Original other than the fact that Original created Model A for use of his little "game" If not based on Axl, then Model A would probably stand for "Advent" like stated before but that's not likely the intention. Definitely not based on the final boss though.

Besides, the twin guns, TRANS On, and the fact that Original, a perfect being with Rockman Model A's powers, greatly resembles Lumine, who was a perfect version of Axl's generation of Repliroids pretty much points at Model A being a reference to Axl.

Not necessarily. Don't forget Inafune IS running out of ideas, so he just recycles the same things. In the ZX universe, Axl never came to be.

Besides the two guns work in different ways. First off, you can't aim. And a charge shot? Axl has no such thing. You can point me to the things that make you refer Model A as Axl, but I can also point you to the things that make him NOT be Axl.

Also, you're looking at it in the wrong way really. The Zero series often had these kinda final bosses, and when I saw Lumines final form in X8, I immediately marked him as a Zero-like final boss.

And one last thing. Albert is Wily's first name. And that alone should be self-esplicative to anything Rockman-related.

Umm....Before you fight Albert he says that Model A is "Model Albert" He also said to Grey/Ashe "You are my shadow" and performed Trans-On. So, I guess it is based on him. And I don't think that Master Albert and Original Albert are the same beings. Why? After Master Albert was "killed?" by Prometheus and Original Albert appeared he said something about Dr.Albert. But unfortunately I couldn't understand this part so...
