Now that I think about finally being able to hear their voices without buffering problems. Omega-xis (I still say thats a catchy name^^) sounds to me almost like Wolverine a bit..Just without the harsh personality.

Probably because the guy who plays Omega-Xis, Kyle Herbert, was also the narrator for Dragonball Z (as well as older Gohan.)
Also, he was a DJ for Radio Disney, under the alias of "Squeege". Laughing

That's true. I mean, it's nice that there's sticking to the original and all ( Unlike NT Warrior. Give VIZ a brownie for improving. Razz ) but you think they would've come up with some simpler, like... I dunno. 'Radio Fusion', or something. :/

But still, yay! A new episode and awesome fighting! ( Okay, not really.) Say, the little Radio Mettaurs sounded like they were saying 'Metto', y'know? XD

Radio Conversion might have sounded better. :\
But like Haly-K said, VIZ gets brownie points for trying.
But I still feel like its...I dunno...rushed...like the dialogue is moving too fast...
Maybe it's just me...
Either way, Mr. Kyle Herbert needs to put some life into that voice of his... He's going to put the audience to sleep.

Exactly, it makes no sense. Just because Toonami is only in the USA is the only reason, which still makes no sense. I mean YTV isn't going to start a Jetstream of its own >_<

I got an idea, go to youtube! I checked and I saw somebody post the 1st english dub episode of Megaman Star Force.

Oh, nice episode too, but I agree that "electromagnetic wave change" is WAY too long.

Yeah. In real life by the time you finish saying it, your opponent will have already killed.

But in the magical world of anime, time freezes during long-winded activation codes and the henshin sequences that follow.

And our latest VA update is that Goyoda/Copper is played by a man who's been in a bazillion things, such as Schwarzwald in The Big O and Margulis in the Xenosaga triology, Michael McConnohie. Another one I should've known if I was listening closely enough. Thanks again to Kirb for that info.

Another good follow-up. I was very amused by the ominous bellowing of Omega when he said "PREDATION!!" Glad that was kept.

Well, I can totally understand why it would upset people, but at the same time they do have to protect their product. I'm pretty sure Cartoon Network airs in other countries besides the US, if I remember my research correctly. But when it comes to copyrighted material, those copyrights are really only good in each individual country. Yeah, there is a global copyright law, but often it seems to be more for show than atcually being enforced. If anything, foreign countries are blocked to protect the show's American copyrights. Can't say every TV station that offers streaming shows work that way, but no doubt that's the reason why when they do.

What keywords did you type in? I typed in MegaMan Star Force and got game footage. :\

@SeijinKage13: Do you really have to give an answer like that? Cccd-erckie was just asking a normal question.

Anyway, I must say they did a good job on the dub, although I seem to have the most problems with Geo's voice. It is not bad but, I guess I have gotten so used to Subaru's original voice, that I really have trouble adapting myself to this one. IMHO, it just doesn't seem to reflect his personality. But I have to keep in mind this is only the first episode.

Now that I actually know the voice actor for Geo is Kiyo from Zatch Bell...yeesh, it's gonna be hard to think of him seriously, and not accidentally call Omega-xis "Zatch" XD;;;

Yeah, the dub isn't all that bad. My issue though is Omega-Xis. For most of the episode (with one or two exceptions) he seemed very monotonous and quiet, whereas WarRock was very boistrous and animated.
But, what as I said to RockMiyabi earlier, I'll reserve my judgement until episode 8(their episode 4).

Episode 8? Is that the one in which Warrock begged/pleaded to Subaru to let him out of the Tranzer for hours? Heh, I'm curious to know how Omega-Xis VA will handle that scene.

I haven't seen episode 2 yet, but I'll post my thoughts about that one later.

Episode 8: Ox Invasion!
That's the one where WarRock gets a bad case of Cabin Fever and harasses Subaru until he agrees to go to school.
Should be fun. Twisted Evil

The 2nd episode has weasled a couple of smiles from me, mostly from Goyoda's new voice acting and the awkward-and-elongated "PREDAAAAAAAATION!!" line. When Goyoda/Copper was running, he sounded asthmatic. D: Poor him, it must suck being middle-aged. And I love the dialogue after Geo saved his classmates, especially:

Quote:
Geo: My name's... Geo--
Omega-Xis: Hrrhmmegaman.

Yeah, the cough won it all. Just the way he said it.

And Copper's "I'm taking you DOWNTOWWWWWN, Megaman!!" struck me smiling because of the way he said it. I know I'm weird like that. Smile
