This is it, peeps! The countdown to Otakon 2008. Start working on your plans!

This is also an important announcement to everyone who roomed with us in 2007:

I only reserved two rooms this year. Ruby also reserved two of her own, and Maq is organizing her own room this year. As far as I know, Ruby's are full, but Maq had an open spot left in hers. Here's my two:

Room 1:

Yes, I will be reserving two rooms as well since we have a potential 7-8 roomies. This will leave some spaces open for those looking for a room. As always with the Ruby-tachi room, it's ladies only; if there are any ladies who wish to room with us, let me know via pm.

It's barely a year away and we're already starting the 08 thread? Well, I guess you can't complain that loudly then. I should be fine for this coming year, though I need to limit my spending at the con -_-;;. Unless things change, Mario won't be making an appearance next year. Jayne and Vent will instead.

I have no idea if I'm going or not next year. Going to Japan is much more tempting and that will probably drain any money I have... Probably won't be able to afford Otakon. :(

Well, I know this is too early (or at least too early for me to really say) but this year, unless something goes wrong (and with me, it usually does) I plan on making it to Otakon next year. I know I can scrape up enough money for gas and food, it's going to be the cost of a hotel room that's going to kill me (and the reason I've never made it yet.) But, as long as nothing else breaks in the house I should be able to save a portion of my paycheck a month to put toward Otakon (and PortCon as well since that's closer and I know I can afford that one.)

I plan on cosplaying (as long as my wild imagination doesn't fail me) and I wished I had thought of a costume earlier considering the work I'll need to put into it and the fact that Maine has such a short summer and most of my important work needs to be done outside *curses her location* I hope I can get it put together in time. I've already got part of the materials and hopefully will find time to work on it today. I'm probably going to regret wearing this down in Baltimore during the late summer (mostly for the walk to the BCC where I'm supposing the center is air conditioned (trust me, I'm a complete newb when it comes to large conventions,) ) but it is Rockman related and fits with PortCon's mecha theme this year.

So, hopefully by the end of September, I'll have a costume completed (well all that I need to do outdoors,) and I'll be hooking up with you all dressed as Armor Armarge *keeps her fingers crossed* at Otakon next year.

Wow, for the shy one I really rambled, didn't I?
