Sigh, I had a far more detailed summary before, but my Internet ate it. So I have to make due with this...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Utagai's device continues to attract viruses, far too many for Subaru handle. Utagai is restrained by a vacuum cleaner (EXE 52 anyone?), so he's unable to switch it off.
Viruses out on the wave roads are soon drawn to AMAKEN, leaving a trail of destruction throught Kodama. Cancer, who was feeding some viruses, sees all of this.
Amachi eventually decides that the only option left is to destroy the device, so despite Utagai's protests, Subaru prepares to shoot it, but Cancer Bubble interferes, and steals the device. The next two or three minutes of footage are just of Subaru trying to attack Cancer Bubble, only for him to summon more viruses to crush him.
Harp Note eventually arrives to save Subaru's ass again, and he uses the Star Break to use the Pegasus Star Force. Still, the two end up surrounded. Cancer Bubble prepares to kill them with a massive virus horde, but he accidently breaks the dial off and the thing is rendered useless. The viruses go on their way. Very anticlimatic.
Cancer Bubble flees rather than fight, and Harp Note soon follows suit. Goyoda breaks in, blaming Rockman for the whole fiasco, but Utagai admits that it was his fault.
Long story short, Utagai has to help out at the Satellite Police crime lab to make amends. It never really said if Suabru got his Transer fixed, or if he kept the Wave Scanner. But if he follows in Netto's footsteps...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah... Cancer Bubble kinda killed it for me. I was honestly hoping he'd get deleted or something... but no, we need the comic relief guy who either hits or misses with the humor. This time, I think, he missed.
The music that played from when Cancer Bubble is holding the device aloft, to when he breaks the dial was pretty cool though. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

We can't kill cancer yet. He's one of the good villains. Maybe if they did that to libra and/or crown first but I like cancer. He's funny. |

I felt the episode was not really special IMHO, although I couldn't understand what was being said Cancer Bubble appeared more serious to me this time, and never thought I would say this, he even appeared menacing. He could have even won the battle and defeated both Rockman and Harp Note. Him, from all the FM's would have succeeded.
Of course, that serious image was shattered by his bad luck at the end. (although funny) Couldn't the writers come up with something better?
I was glad to see that Cancer Bubble was spared the usual beating up by the good guys, instead they just stared at him. Normally it would be "Shock Note" and bye-bye Cancer.
The episode was enjoyable, but not one I would re-watch often though.
(Rockman getting hit every time with those viruses was also funny, nice to see that viruses actually can be quite powerful, instead of being cannon fodder) _________________ This great avatar is made by Synchro-kun. Thank you! |

The episode was deleted before I could see it. From what I hear, though, it seems like I didn't missed much. _________________

IMhO you indeed didn't miss much. In contrast to episodes like 17/26/27/30 I feel with this one no desire to watch it again. For me this is a clear indication how much I usually like an episode, in this case I found it mediocre.
Especially the, like ComicX6 said in his summary, anti-climactic way Cancer Bubble lost the battle ruined it for me. Not to mention that the powerful StarForce Pegasus transformation proved to be ineffective against a wave of viruses, but I did like it that the viruses were portrayed more powerful this time. _________________ This great avatar is made by Synchro-kun. It seems in this episode, some of the viruses appear bigger. BTW, I wonder why Utagai would make it look like a house (the denpa taijiki, methinks)? |

This is probably about as dangerous as Cancer Bubble will ever get. _________________

And that's how it usually is. Bubbleman wasn't too threating was he? Neither was Iceman or Aquaman. |

Iceman and Aquaman were never meant to be threatening. Bubbleman was to some degree at the very beginning, but then dropped into the role of comic relief villain.
Cancer Bubble is an exact carbon copy of Bubbleman (although I'm sure that's already been well established). _________________

Ok then. We have it. He's only supposed to be threating some of the time. This is one of them. |

Yep, nothing great and rather predictable. But at least Utagai showed some courage and took responsibility. And it was nice to see Goyoda crack a smile and show some understanding.
I think the reason the device looked like a house was to resemble "roach motels," playing off of other real pest-killing traps. Or Utagai loved playing the board game Mousetrap and just stole the idea from that... Which is entirely possible.
The Ice Pegasus transformation art was nice, and some of the pan art wasn't too shabby, with all that was going on in them. The stop-motion camera part was something different, too.
And no! No killing the immortal Cancer Bubble, BUKU! But yeah, he wasn't gut-busting funnythis time around.
