Prediction:
Brother Band: Rockman's battle against Cepheus
Negative Energy: Begining of the final battle against Gemini Spark
Just a guess. :/
EDIT: Xebec just updated with the episode 53 title, "Two Bonds".

I'm with you on that. At the pace the anime is moving now, I'm guessing after these Luna/Ophiucus Luna eps, the focus will shift to Crown Couronne, then to Misora (I'm guessing the 'confession' will be either Subaru admitting to Misora that he's Rockman, her confessing to him that she's Harp Note (even though he already knows) or both....and they seal their promise to keep each other's secrets with a brother band. Then I'll bet the next two episodes will be more about Tsukasa/Gemini. So far, Tsukasa doesn't seem to express any remorse about stabbing Subaru in the back as he does in the game (he's still a two-dimensional jerkwad), so that bit needs to be fleshed out.
I really wonder what the 'WarRock the Gentleman' episode entails - if it's anything like the 'my dog Rocky' thing, it should be awesomely entertaining. |

Anyway, episode 54 is up now. "Andromeda." It's obvious where things are going now. |
Well I hope that's not going to be the end of the anime. Ryuusei no rockman is an awesome amime! Oh and i agree with the confession statenent. The game seems to do with the show but, not in specific order. But, yeah hope that's not the end. Star force 2 is coming out soon so i wonder if they will continue the anime from there. |

Four new summaries up!
Episode 48: WarRock the Gentleman
Subaru watches the sky as a denpa comet comes closer to the Earth. It had barely came within sight when WarRock started acting all polite like the the perfect gentleman. The other FM's seem to be affected by the comet as well, becoming out-of-character.
Episode 49: Skeleton Change
Subaru et al go o a dinosaur museum for a field trip. Crown comes along and decides to merge with the dinosaur skeleton(s) and start running amok. Subaru transforms into Rockman, but WarRock seemed to think all forms of fighting are just so terrible....
Episode 50: Confession
Subaru runs to Amaken after hearing word that they found the remains of his father's space station. WarRock spills the beans on the attack on the space station, and how he met Daigo there.
Episode 51: Brother Band
The FM's form a last-ditch effort to recharge the Andromeda Key and launched attacks all at once. As Rockman and Harp Note try to fight back, the Key that was with Cancer suddenly shattered.
I'm definitely looking forward to ep 50 _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |

where did you find the summaries. Thanks for the info Ngirl. maybe their will be another season. Adromeda is 54 cause i checked wikipedia. I assume that will be the last episode of that season. Maybe they'll do what they did with naruto, like a second series. But, i still think it would not make sense if they ended after eps. 54. Only because the second game is coming out and i do believe the anime came first, so it would not make sense if they just stop it there. One thing is i so hope they don't bring back sigma. He was so annoying. thanks again number girl, that helped me out. The story is becomming interesting. And it really hasn't been on that long, it started in 06 so that's not that long. I wonder if it has high ratings in japan. anyway, thanks a million. |

Xebec posts the summaries in Japanese. That's where we get all this info. That's where Wikipedia gets the info (and I would know; I maintain the Ryusei Wikipedia pages more than most people...)
http://www.xebec-inc.co.jp/anime/ryusei/
I doubt the series is going to end at 54. The anime is going to go on as long as there are games, just like EXE. And there's another game coming out in November, so of course, the anime is going to follow suit as an extra cash-cow.
And I totally called the meaning of 50's title "Confession." _________________

This will be interesting. But the out of character episode should be funny. And, a confession. Plot! |

Revenge of the PLOT!!
It's been so looong since a serious episode has been shown, so I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for translating the summaries NumberGirl. Google translate is a pain to read through when translating Japanese... _________________ "There is no coincidence, only Hitsuzen" Yuko, xxxHolic

I'm unsure if this'll be of interest, but Saru! Get You (Ape Escape) anime finally ends September 29th, 2007. Xebec's page has "Saishukai" on the episode description page. As to whether or not Ryuusei will take over the entire timeslot, it's unknown.
Just thought I'd like to make this little random once-in-a-while post. |

Thanks for the summaries, Numbergirl. I think it'll run along the same lines as the EXE anime, with new shows as the new games come out just with different subtitles (Like Stream and Axess, etc). Though I hope future ones stick more with the games and don't diverge too much like EXE did.
Is it just me, or did the animation in Ryuusei get better as more episodes were produced? _________________

NEWS FLASH!
I just bought the October issue of Newtype, and RnR has been "promoted" to the "main section" of the monthly anime database.
It used to be in the "others" section, getting only a listing of episode titles and when they get aired. This time it got summaries and a staff roll
Saru Get! You 2nd is still in the "others" section, and I'm still skimming the titles to see if some other anime's going to share the RnR time slot starting October 6.
But, you gotta admit, it's looking good for Ryuusei
Oh yeah, they printed a different title for episode for episode 50: Hoshikawa Daigo _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |

Well that's good. That could feasibly open the way for Tribe having a full timeslot, which, needless to say, would be awesome. I think I read that the reason Beast + came about was because the EXE anime wasn't as popular anymore, so maybe they didn't want to push it with Ryuusei.
I like 'Confession' as a title more than 'Hoshikawa Daigo', but I'm gonna chalk that up to magazine weirdness until the episode airs. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

Actually, now that I've seen ep49, I was just thinking it's getting worse, at least if you look at Nomoto's episodes. 46 and 47 looked pretty good but I think that was because Adachiiiii!! was contributing here and there even though the director for those eps was Akira Takahashi. The animation team under Takahashi is the most consistent, in my opinion. A little rigid, but still fairly good quality. But Nomoto's episodes appear to be decreasing in quality, and his name is on a good deal of the episodes. |

I honestly hope the timeslot for Ryuusei doesn't change. 10 minutes of QUALITY animation vs 20 of half-assed animation? Sorry, I'll take the former. Ryuusei had much better quality eps in the series and far less still shots than the rest of the series, really thanks to the shorter timeslot, letting Capcom pay animators for a better job. _________________ SPOILER:

Excuse me while I laugh heartily at that. Why don't you rewatch the majority of the fights. There, you'll find plenty of lazy still shots and pans. Plus, I have a suspicion that because of the shorter timeslot, Ryuusei has a smaller budget than the EXE anime did. Unless it's an Adachi ep, we're usually seeing stuff that's towards the lower end of the quality spectrum when compared to many other animes. I bet they just blow the budget on Adachi eps, and have Nomoto work with the leftovers. Would explain why his/her art is some of the weakest I've seen.
By the way, was Nomoto the director who did a large chunk of Stream? That would explain why Stream had such weak artwork compared to the other series. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

I agree. Akira Takahashi did have a few disappointing episodes (like 31 IMHO), but overall, he does a much better job of animating than Nomoto. (Of course, both pale in comparison to Adachi, but that's besides the point.) _________________
